Entirely a satisfactory experience. A well motivated, caring staff.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're pleased to hear that you had a satisfactory experience and that our staff met your expectations. We really appreciate your comments and thank you once again.
I came to Castle View for respite following surgery. My experience with the admin team was pleasant, helpful, and informative. I was allocated to a second-floor room with interesting views and a sunny light aspect. A much-needed ensuite with a wash basin and wet room with easy reach. All the facilities were kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Food was served in your room, in the lounge, or in the pleasant dining room. I did look, and the menu was good, and the food was well presented. The staff was the high point of my stay - Polite, friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. I would definitely return!

Everybody at Castle View is friendly and helpful. My Auntie is made to feel very welcome/ There is a high standard of care and hygiene. The food is excellent, with my aunties favourite 'fish and chips' on a Friday!
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your experiences at Castle View. We are delighted to hear that your Auntie has felt welcomed into our home. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest standards in all aspects of care, so it is very reassuring to receive your wonderful feedback.
I feel fortunate to be staying at this care home, mainly because I will be 90 years old next month, although I was always happy, since I was 20, to keep house and home, now I feel relieved to let people much younger than me take over. I am truly grateful for that. It's also good to see the woods in the distance, where I lived happily with my late husband for nearly 40 years.
Thank you for providing your feedback of your time with us here at Castle View so far. We are very happy to have you as part of our community, and to hear that you feel well-cared. We hope that being surrounded by the familiar sights brings you comfort, and we look forward to celebrating your milestone birthday with you.
My recovery here has been much assisted by the diligent aid of Castle View's staff, the environment, and the range of good food.
Great service, lovely staff. Many thanks for looking after my Mum.
I found Castle View a very caring place for my aunt to be. All the staff are very professional kind and caring, making my aunt feel very welcome hence she has settled in very quickly. Thank you Castle View for your outstanding service and care.
My father has been staying here for over two and a half years. In this time, he has been well looked after and the staff have been very accommodating to all of his needs. His personal care has been exemplary, with all of the staff showing kind, caring behaviour, they treat you like a member of the family and nothing is too much. The trips out have really helped to keep things as normal as possible in a very changeable world. Well done!
My father is always very well looked after, he always looks very clean and well presented. His nursing needs have become more complex but we feel that Castle View is able to look after him professionally now and should his condition deteriorate further. That gives us great peace of mind. He is always treated with patience, compassion and dignity, as are we, and management takes time to listen to and address our concerns. Very happy.
My father entered Castle View just after the first lockdown. From the very first moment, Dad was so well looked after. All the staff are so friendly but also professional. They have staff for every eventuality, carers, nurses, entertainment as well as all support services. It always seems to be very well organised with a great management team, creating a happy, friendly environment for staff as well as residents. We are so grateful that Dad is there. We cannot imagine a better home for him.
It was necessary for my husband to go into a care home at the start of the covid lockdown. He had a severe stroke in January 2013 and needed two carers four times a day, however, with the difficulties of lockdown the carers could not always come and some evenings I was having to put him to bed on my own. Castle View was a godsend, we feel so fortunate to have this wonderful place nearby. He is always so well cared for, the many staff all treat him with love and dignity. The home is very well managed and I never worry about him being there.
I have been extremely happy with the care of my mother over the past five years. All the teams from nursing, housekeeping and management etc have been caring, professional and meeting excellent standards! Always helpful with good communication. Friendly with excellent service.
Our mother has received excellent care and support during her four years at Castle View. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout the home and have been very good at communicating with my brother and me whenever there have been issues or emergencies with Mum's health. We feel that she is in safe hands with professionals who genuinely care about her well-being - and that's a great comfort to us.
I'm not sure where to start, my elderly friend moved into Castle View about four weeks ago. On arrival she was greeted with professionalism and care, in what was a stressful and emotional time for her. I visit daily and have met most of the staff, who have all introduced themselves. I often find one or another with my friend when I arrive, checking in and making sure she is safe and comfortable. The home has made sure to meet my friend's needs, physically, emotionally and spiritually, ensuring she is included in activities, and I believe have gone above and beyond to help her settle in. The staff, facilities, menu, activities, room and equipment is absolutely five star. It has eased my worry knowing my friend is being well looked after and cared for in an environment that is clean, warm, friendly and with staff that really do care.
It feels like home from home. I feel safe and enjoy it.
A friendly and caring environment.
An excellent establishment as I have indicated. I am 90 years old!
I have enjoyed my six months in Castle View Care Home greatly in every respect.
The home is excellent. Well cared for at all times. Food is very good.
We were supported and helped during a very distressing time. Every single member of staff was helpful and cheerful - nothing was too much trouble.
I couldn't recommend Castle View more highly.
