I was treated very well during my stay at Sunrise - the food is very good, and I enjoyed all the arranged activities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend Sunrise.

I really cannot praise Sunrise enough. Every single person my mother and I encountered was kind, caring, considerate, attentive, professional and compassionate. From the receptionists to the nurses, carers, cleaners, even the handymen and gardeners. The home is immaculately kept with so many small but important extra touches. Faultless.

My mother was only there two months before she passed and was extremely ill, yet she was safe and so well cared for with all her needs from emotional, personal care as well as wonderful nursing care. She was always treated with the utmost dignity and respect during the most difficult time of her life, and I will be eternally grateful.

I have been a temporary resident in the Sunrise nursing home since my discharge 14-days from the clinic following surgery for a double heart valve replacement. During my time with Sunrise, I have been most excellently surprised and encouraged to continue my cardiac rehabilitation programme, and U leave tomorrow far more able than when I arrived. Thank you, Sunrise, and your excellent team, for whom I shall always be most grateful.

Mum has been in Sunrise for 3-years now and has been expertly, professionally, gently and lovingly supported through every stage of her journey with dementia, with a lot of humour along the way. The facilities are second-to-none, but it’s the staff who really make this place a home. I live overseas, and through the, sometimes terrifying, long haul of Covid, I was relieved and comforted to know that Mum was in the best hands possible to keep her safe, and still feeling loved. I’ll never be able to thank the amazing people here enough. In fact, there were times that I wished I was here myself! I cannot recommend Sunrise highly enough.

Excellent all round, can't fault it!

I have lived in Sunrise for three and a half years. From the beginning, I have found every one of the staff helpful and polite and very willing on all occasions. Service is first-class, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The food and drinks are good. The various facilities, depending on capability, are first-class and conducted by experienced leaders. One feels very safe and secure.

I cannot recommend highly enough fantastic care, spotless accommodation, tasty food and varied/excellent entertainment. Staff always communicate and encourage feedback or if any questions. Both my mother and father have had exemplary care. They love all the staff.

All the staff are friendly and helpful, always listen to concerns and are very reassuring. The care they give is fantastic.

Writing as the son of a resident with dementia and cancer, I have been blown away by the friendly, compassionate and professional approach of everyone I have had the pleasure of dealing with at Sunrise. Right from the very first contact to the later stages of Dad's care, we have been made to feel very comfortable with the living environment at Sunrise, along with end of life care, which has been managed sensitively with excellent communication by all staff.

Really lovely place, classy and comfortable. All the residents seem so happy, all smiling. I was visiting my friends Nan here today, and she is so happy. Would recommend it to anyone. The staff are so lovely and welcoming.

I have been to various homes, and this is definitely my favourite.

Fab place with fab staff.

I have been so looked after during Covid. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had lots of activities and meals together in the dining room. I don't like staff wearing masks, but understand it's for our safety. The home is so clean and lovely, and the food is amazing.

Both my parents received end of life care recently. The care staff were extremely kind and professional and particularly compassionate towards them both. They have been most kind to me as a relative and went out of their way during these difficult days to allow me to visit and to share in their final journey.

Comfortable accommodation.

I have been here for a long time and feel like home here. I know the staff by name, and they treat me as a member of the family. I take part in lots of activities and have led some. I have a very convenient room on the ground floor with a window (looking out on the garden and road).

My mother has lived at Sunrise for 7 years, initially in assisted living and as her dementia progressed and her needs required more support she moved to Reminiscence. This home is outstanding, the staff at all levels are friendly and engaging with residents, more importantly to us is that they are well trained, skilled and make every effort to ensure that my mother's needs are met. They operate as one huge team regardless of which department they might belong to, and all staff knows my mum by name. As I write we are living with COVID and all the implications of this, yet as a family we all know that my mum is being well cared for. We cannot thank the staff enough.

It is not cheap, but well worth the cost of knowing my father is in very good hands.
