The Hollies Care Center and the entire team of staff provided wonderful care for Dad. He was very happy in his home, enjoyed the outside space and the shared human environment whilst he was well enough, and in his final days, was treated with such respect, kindness and dignity. As a family, we are eternally grateful.
Thank you for your review, and we are pleased to read that your father was happy at the Hollies Care Centre. He was such an intelligent gentleman who always had interesting stories to tell the staff about his past experiences, and we will miss that. He was a sociable person and loved his walks when...
The Hollies demonstrated extremely compassionate and skilled levels of care for both my mum and me. I was impressed at how individually all residents are treated and encouraged to leave their rooms and join in as appropriate. It is an extremely stable team of staff who develop excellent relationships with the residents. Go the extra mile and ensure a caring and upbeat environment full of dignity, fun and kindness.
Thank you for your review. We really appreciate the kind words given to The Hollies, and we are very grateful that you were happy with the service we gave your Mother. Your Mother was a thoughtful, caring and kind woman with a wicked sense of humour, and we will always be thankful for being given...
I would like to commend The Hollies for the way they looked after my father for the many months of restricted visiting during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the past four years, he considered The Hollies his home. As relatives, my husband and I felt included in all aspects of his care and looked after during the difficult last few days of his life.
Thank you for your review. We really appreciate the kind words given to The Hollies, and we are very grateful that you were happy with the service we gave your father. Your father was a thoughtful, caring and kind gentleman who we looked up too, and we will always be thankful for being given the...
From the very first visit to The Hollies, it became very clear that nothing was too much trouble, be it how my partner wanted her accommodation decorated (the wallpaper at £60 a roll) to a specialist bed that was purchased from a hospice. Staff members would all comment about my partner's no-nonsense attitude to what she expected and wanted from staff and she will miss you all.
Thank you for your review. I am happy you were fulfilled with how The Hollies Care Centre look after their residents and families personally. We feel it is extremely important to ensure it feels as homely as we can make it. The staff here grew extremely close with your partner and we will also miss...
The care and attention devoted to my mother, especially in her last few weeks of her life, was very good. The Hollies also provide many activities for the residents in their care, and arrangements can be made to use the company's own vehicles to give them a day out locally for a change of scenery. Overall, well recommended..
Thank you for your review. I am glad you are pleased with the service we gave your mother and we feel every resident's situation is important to look after. We are very proud of the activities we deliver and we try our hardest to ensure every session is person-centred whether this would be a group...

I was very pleased to have my mum at The Hollies. I believe my mum was well looked after and was in the best care home in the area. The Hollies is like a 5-star hotel. It's a little expensive, but as it was my mother's money, only the best care for her in my mothers last years mattered. I like to thank you for looking after my mother with great care. Thank you from all of us.
Thank you for your review. I am so pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the care your mother received whilst she was here. Thank you so much for your lovely comments regarding The Hollies Care Centre. We try our hardest to maintain a high standard with all departments and I am happy you are...
From the staff to the facilities provided, the care given is of the highest standard. On arriving at The Hollies I was made to feel very welcome and my friend who I was visiting was in very high spirits. I feel this was due to the environment he is living in and the fabulous staff that keeps him smiling. I look forward to my next visit.
Thank you for your review! I am so pleased to read that your experience at the Hollies Care Centre was exceptional and you were satisfied. All staff members at The Hollies have tried their hardest to ensure everyone remains safe and happy during this difficult time. We are all aware of the...
My mother was lucky enough to call The Hollies her home for the last four years of her life. The care that she received from every member of staff irrespective of their role was outstanding. In addition to the care that mum received, there was always time made for me by the staff if and when I needed it this was invaluable. It is true to say that there could have been no better place during those years for mum to call home.
Thank you for your review and I hope you are doing well and remaining safe. We are so pleased to read your review and how you feel our services were exceptional. Your mother was a very important and special individual here at The Hollies Care Centre and everyone misses her dearly. She was such a...
We inspected several care homes before choosing The Hollies. In the following 46-months, we never had any reason to doubt our decision. The care and support given were all we could have expected and more.
Thank you for posting your review! We are very proud that you had chosen us instead of any of the other care homes you looked at. Your relative was with us for several years and we are all very grateful to have looked after her for this period of time. She was the most heartwarming, polite, kind...
My 49 yr old friend was admitted for end of life care. It was hard to have a younger person, but they immediately 'sussed' her and her individual needs. They did not 'gripe' when she became angry and impatient (quite understandable given her diagnosis). They provided physical and emotional support meeting all of her requirements. She died peacefully and not alone, a member of the team stayed with her when I needed to return home. Thank you.
Good morning and thank you for your lovely review. We will always appreciate the opportunity of meeting your friend and she will always be remembered by The Hollies. Even though she was going through a hard stage of her life, she never failed to make us laugh or smile and we will forever be...
From the first time of entering, The Hollies felt like home. Everyone was happy, friendly and thoroughly professional. My mum was treated with love and care. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter what. The care Mum received was to the highest standard. Throughout her stay, the staff not only cared about Mum but the whole family. I cannot praise them enough for their love, laughter and thoughtfulness. Mum had the best care possible, and I will always be thankful I found The Hollies.
Thank you for your review and your kind words given. We are very grateful that you felt The Hollies "felt like home", as this is something we aim to deliver. We do feel like we are an extended family at The Hollies, and we are happy that you were able to experience this. We were very lucky to have...
My mother has settled into The Hollies home so well and she is very well cared for, happy and safe. We couldn't ask for more.
Gran came to live in the home at the age of 97, she spent nearly three years at The Hollies. The Hollies are an amazing bunch of individuals and their care has been gold standard. Gran enjoyed life in The Hollies. The activities, days out, every part of life. Gran was treated like the Queen. At the end, they treated Gran with compassion. For us as a family, The Hollies were our family.
Good afternoon and thank you for your review. We will always remember your Gran, she had a heart of gold with an amazing character. She never failed to make everyone laugh and we will miss her dearly. We were fortunate to be able to spend almost three years with such a caring and loving women. Her...
Comfortable modern brick-built building on four floors with 48 individual rooms with shower/WC attached, all with windows and views over gardens. Communal lounges and dining areas on each floor with services, lifts, stairs and staff facilities and services. Car parking areas. Day and night staff cheerful, approachable, happy, caring and also ancillary. Catering and other domestic staff happy and good leadership.
The Hollies offer a level of care that far exceeds my expectations. In her short time at The Hollies, my mother has improved in so many ways. She eats fantastic food (she has gained weight). Her mobility has improved greatly. She has assistance at any time of the day or night should she require. She has enjoyed arts and crafts, watching movies with other residents. All of the carers are friendly, patient, and understanding and the level of care throughout this time with COVID-19 has been truly superb.
We are glad to read that you are satisfied with the service we give. Your mother has progressed massively since she first came into The Hollies and we are very grateful to be given the privilege of supporting her during this time. She has a character of gold and she never fails to keep us on our...
When looking for a care home for my wife we found that out of all the homes we saw The Hollies stood out as being very professional but with a feeling of homeliness. This has not altered since my wife's admission, in fact, she looks better than she was at home. The staff are always friendly and are most helpful.
Thank you for your review. We are extremely happy to read that you feel the Hollies remains "professional but with a feeling of homeliness." Those words are very important to us. We try to remain as professional as we can, whilst caring and looking after your loved one, but we do like to feel that...
I have been visiting the care home since 2017 and have been impressed by the most excellent care given to my friend, in particular during the Covid-19 epidemic. The standards have been such that the home has not experienced cases of the virus and the staff have remained vigilant throughout.
Good morning and thank you for your review. I am glad you have managed to experience our services with your friend for many years. We would like to thank you for your kind words about the Hollies Care Centre and we have tried our best to perform appropriately, whilst this pandemic is continuing. I...
From start to finish the staff were so friendly and helpful. Living abroad, I often needed to call my Grandma as means of communication. Sometimes my Grandma would struggle to hear or answer the phone so whenever I called the main number to ask for help they were so accommodating and never made me feel like it was a burden or adding to their already busy workload. My Grandma was not well when she was taken in, but just after a few weeks of loving care at The Hollies, she built up so much strength she was able to enjoy many more months than had initially been diagnosed by the hospital. Finally, when visiting before and after the pandemic the home was professional, friendly and a happy environment to be in, always with a happy and positive buzz in the air. Would very much recommend.
Thank you for your review. We would like to say thank you for all your kind words. Your Grandma was a lovely spirited woman who was always grateful for everything. She had such a kind, strong heart and we will miss her dearly. The Hollies understand the importance of contacting your loved ones in...
We were told in hospital she only has a few weeks left. We sadly lost her in May 2020, seven months later!
I feel this speaks absolute volumes in regards to the care The Hollies deliver.
The home has such a wonderful atmosphere as soon as you walk in there is always a beautiful flower arrangement on the entrance table which made it so welcoming.
The staff are friendly, caring and upbeat, I knew my grandmother was in good hands.
Sadly my grandmother passed away during the Coronavirus outbreak, which meant we weren’t able to say our goodbyes in person.
We all found this incredibly difficult.
The Hollies decided to lockdown the care home before many others did so which is why I’m sure they have remained safe.
They are extremely cautious ensuring all staff wear the correct PPE and follow strict guidelines which has filled our family, and I’m sure all the other relatives of residents, with such confidence.
Thank you for your review. I would just like to say that we were very grateful to have the privilege of meeting your Grandmother. Her personality was brilliant and she never failed to place a smile on everyone's faces. Unfortunately, we were only able to look after your grandmother for a short...

Meet the Team (1)

Having previously led the team at Winchcombe Place, I’m excited and feel privileged to lead a new team and ensure that everyone’s supported, working together and managing a team I’m proud of.
I started my working career after studying a Pharmacology degree, which led me to work in a community pharmacy, and after hearing all the wonderful things about Care UK, I wanted to try something new in my career, so I joined Care UK.
Previously at Care UK, I was Deputy Manager at Winchcombe Place and have taken part in the Future Home Manager Program to help me develop my skills and understanding of home care to be a successful home manager. Within my role, I believe you need to be knowledgeable on a wide range of key areas, responsible, approachable, efficient and understanding, which has helped me develop a successful team.
Outside of work, I love to dance and previously I’ve been featured on television in a dance competition.
