My mother and father arrived at Blenheim House Care Home during November last year and were immediately made to feel welcome and part of the family. My dad died soon afterwards and the staff couldn't have been more professional and caring. The staff seem, universally, to be enthusiastic and genuine in what they do and I know my mum is happy with all aspects of her residency, especially the food. As family visitors, we too are always made to feel welcome.
Dear Adrian, thank you so much for your lovely review. We were delighted to welcome your mother and father and feel privileged to continue to care for your mother. She is very much part of our Blenheim House family and we hope that we have made the last few months a little easier for her. So pleased your wider family feel welcomed and it is always a pleasure to see you all.
Please do not be taken in by the free coffee, cakes, nice garden and the facilities on offer at this care home. The thing that was totally lacking during my wife's respite care was high quality care. My wife previously had stayed in two care homes which charged a lot less than Blenheim and the quality of care was very high, be careful and do loads of research.
Dear Mr C We are very sorry to receive your review and that you have been so disappointed in the care your wife received whilst at Blenheim House last year. I can assure you that your complaint was thoroughly investigated last September, and we have tried to invite you to meet with us to share our...
Good following new hip 6th November 2024. Safe, comfortable, very good care and services. Would return if and when required.
Thank you for your review, we are so glad you enjoyed your time with us.
The home has a welcoming, friendly feel, we could visit at any time, lovely decor and gardens and good range of activities. Good example for all other homes.
My mum stayed at Blenheim House for two weeks respite to enable us to go on holiday. Right from the first encounter with the customer relations manager, he was friendly, reassuring and accommodating. All the staff were a credit to the care home and couldn't have been more friendly, caring and helpful. My mum was very content during her stay and thoroughly enjoyed the numerous activities, especially the singing. We will definitely approach Blenheim House when my mum needs future care. Many thanks to everyone working there.
We are so pleased to have met your expectations of your mum's respite and glad that she had such a wonderful time during her stay with us. Respite stays at Blenheim House provide some much-needed breathing space for families when considering their options and we really look forward to seeing your Mum with us for her next stay!
After viewing care homes in the local area, we came across Blenheim House Care Home and what a lucky find. My mother has Alzheimer's and safety and mental stimulation on a daily basis were a priority. We opted for two weeks of respite and Mum settled immediately. The staff are friendly, happy and exceed expectations, so we decided for her to stay permanently. We have a lovely welcome whenever we visit and our dog loves it too. Thank you, Blenheim!
We are so pleased your mother enjoyed her respite stay with us and decided upon a permanent residency at Blenheim House. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review with us, which I will also share with our teams. We look forward to your next visit and hopefully attending our upcoming Summer Garden Party!
I can't speak highly enough of Blenheim House Care Home. From the admittance, Mum settled down straight away after 10 minutes of arriving, she was singing and dancing to the entertainment. It's honestly like a five-star hotel. Administration staff, food, activities and rooms are fantastic, there is always somebody on hand to assist Mum. The gardens are wonderful, beautifully maintained, the standard of cleanliness is next to none. Very happy overall and so is Mum, she's safe, relaxed, stimulated and cared for extremely well.
Thank you for this wonderful review. We are so pleased you and your mother chose Blenheim House and it is wonderful to see her enjoying herself and settling in well. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit and enjoying our upcoming summer garden party!
I cannot praise the staff more at Blenheim House Care Home. Nothing has been too much trouble from the moment I got in touch with the customer relations manager to Mum becoming a resident. A very efficient process. Mum has settled well thanks to the dedicated staff who genuinely care for the residents. My mum is cared for with dignity and compassion. The activity programme is varied, fun and carefully planned. The facilities are beautiful, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Blenheim House has such high standards, it's outstanding, I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for this wonderful review of our home. We are so pleased that you found the journey from enquiry to admission so efficient, and that your mother continues to be so happy to receive our care and attention. I will share your comments with the rest of our team and we look forward to seeing you when you next visit.
A wonderful home with such a caring and generous approach to the residents and families of residents. Have always been made to feel so welcome from day one. The team looked after my mum with great kindness and humour and she missed them when she moved to be nearer to my home. Thank you so much.
We are so happy to read that your mother had such a positive experience while staying with us and wish her all the best in her new home. Thank you for being such an enthusiastic supporter of our teams at Blenheim House and do feel free to pop in and see us if you are visiting Melksham again.
Nobody could have had more care and attention than I had during my stay here - about 2 months. I am so grateful to everybody. I love the soup every evening - I want to get the recipe! Best wishes to everyone.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your respite stay with us- and especially our fine dining service. We look forward to seeing you again on your upcoming respite stay with us in 2024!
Blenheim House Care Home feels a happy place, and after visiting several care homes, we knew that Mum deserved to be a resident at Blenheim. We were immediately impressed with the efficiency and knowledge of the Customer Relations Manager, and then his continued consideration throughout the admissions process. Mum is now enjoying life again, thriving on the many activities and "being made a fuss of". For someone who was adamant that she would never enter a care home to say that "I wish I had come here a long time ago" is praise indeed. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Blenheim for allowing us to enjoy our Mum again.
Thank you for letting us know we got things right for your Mum, it was my pleasure to show you around Blenheim House in the days before she joined us and we are so glad she has settled in so well with us!
Blenheim is wonderful. Everyone of the staff are so very friendly and welcoming. Moving to a care home for our 99-year-old father was a big decision but made so much easier with the efficiency of all the management and staff. A very special mention to the customer experience manager who made everything so easy for us, nothing too much trouble and absolutely cares about all the residents and environment.
It was an honour to care for your father during his respite stay with us and we look forward to seeing him again for his next visit. Thank you for those kind words which I will share with our team and do contact us again for respite stays throughout 2024.
The home, to say the least, is up to the standard of a five-star hotel. We found the staff so friendly and could not do enough to help.
Thank you for this review, we are very proud of our home, and most especially our teams that deliver exceptional care and attention to our residents. We are very excited about the new refurbishment plans for our dementia community which involve a botanical bistro, sweet shop, redesigned lounges and more! Do pop in and we would love to show you around on your next visit.
From the moment I walked into Blenheim House Care Home I felt a warmth from the staff, from the reception staff, the carers, the nurses and customer relations staff. The residents are happy in their surroundings and freely chatted with me. This has continued throughout the two weeks in which my mother has stayed here for respite. Should she decide on or need to stay in a care home again I would be very happy for her to come back to Blenheim House Care Home.
I will share your kind words with our teams and we welcome you back during your mother's next stay with us.
Thank you all for looking after my brother well and with understanding.
Thank you for your kind words and lovely review of Blenheim House Care Home. We were honoured to care for your relative and will feedback your praise to our teams. You are always welcome to enjoy our facilities at Blenheim House if you are in passing, as we are sure our staff would love to see you again.
Very friendly and nothing is too much to ask. Anything is done quickly and efficiently with no delay. The community relations manager informs us straight away if there is a problem with my father and finds a solution easily. He really cares for all the residents and appears to be devoted to every member of staff equally. We are very grateful to him for all he has done for us.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so pleased that you are happy with our customer service and care of your loved one. We will let all of our teams know how happy you are with Blenheim House, as it is truly a group effort.
Staff have been great.
Thank you for leaving such a positive review about Blenheim House. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you for your next respite stay soon. We will share your positive thoughts of the home with our teams.
Excellent staff especially night workers. Facilities and food is/are excellent. I would repeat my respite stay.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this wonderful review. We loved having you here as a guest on a respite stay and will welcome you back when your family book their next holiday. In the meantime please do come back and enjoy a cup of tea and cake in our cafe if passing, as our teams would love to see you again.
Thank you to everyone at Blenheim House for caring for me over the last year. We have made some lovely friendships and my husband has been so welcome when he visits me. My room is nice, as are my neighbours. The food is nice and well-presented. I wish I could do more as the home have very nice staff. I feel like I would like to visit as a guest in future.
It has been our pleasure to care for you over the last year and we are so happy your time at Blenheim House has enabled you to return home. We look forward to seeing you again on your visits to the home as you are always welcome to enjoy our cafes and community activity sessions. Thank you for this wonderful review.
All staff have been very helpful and dedicated to my wife over the past year. We have made many new friends who will be welcome to see us in the future.
