Home is wonderful, so modern with lots of facilities and activities for residents.
Every staff member has been so welcoming and very friendly - no job is too small.
Love the "this is your home as well as your nan's". Allowed to go and grab a coffee/beer/food when visiting.

I came in Blenheim House on the 8th of June quite upset about leaving my home after 58 years, but I must say not living here long before I felt at home. The people here are all very kind and caring. I have a very nice room, which I am pleased with, kept nice and clean. I am very happy here and make
friends with most. There is quite a lot going on each day and lovely gardens to walk around, so in all, I am very grateful.

From my first visit to assess the home, the visits to my father and to the last day of his respite care, I have been met with continued feelings of warmth, kindness and a desire to make my father's stay as enjoyable an experience as possible.
My father is very impressed and he has thoroughly enjoyed
his two weeks stay at the home. A very caring and relaxing environment, it is a credit to all the staff here at the home.

I was shown around the home by a very helpful man who covered the home extremely thoroughly, showing us all aspects of the home with enthusiasm and knowledge. Communication throughout the admission process was excellent and reassuring. My mam's room is beautifully decorated, and photos were sent to
us well in advance of moving in. Mum is very happy here at Blenheim House, and I would certainly recommend the home to any families looking for care for their loved ones. Care-wise, I think the care at Blenheim House has been excellent, everyone has been so kind and ready to help my mam. This stay has done her the world of good.

My father spent two weeks having respite care in June. We cannot speak more highly of the care and attention that our father has received.
'I have been spoilt rotten' was my father's comment every time I visited him.
The staff have been so professional and respected towards our father and have at
all times been caring and friendly. Activities were plentiful and the garden was enjoyed. We cannot be more plentiful and thank you to all the staff for letting us 'catch breath' before he returns home.

We had been in contact with Blenheim House for a few months in the hope of getting my father in for some respite care. They were constantly in contact with us in terms of availability and when a date finally became available my father was over the moon and we thank Blenheim for finding him a room.
He thoroughly enjoyed his time at Blenheim House, the room and property was excellent and the surroundings, particularly the gardens were lovely. All the staff were so incredibly kind and patient with him and he was always grateful for their care and attention. Our thanks to all who looked after him during his stay.

We were super impressed with the way in which my mother-in-law’s move to Blenheim was handled. We received first-class help and support from everyone we came into contact with. The admissions process was faultless – we were guided through the entire process smoothly, carefully and very professionally,
ensuring her path into Blenheim was smooth and as stress-free as possible. We received a genuinely warm welcome from every member of staff we saw on arrival - a very pleasing and reassuring experience - as her next chapter begins, it is clear the entire team pulls together and wants to give their best. Our mother spent seven years at Blenheim House, and we could not have chosen a better place for her to end her journey. At all times, the staff were amazing - very caring and loving towards her and very supportive of us - we always had a warm welcome when we visited and were very happy that Mother was
being looked after by people who actually cared that she was happy and comfortable - nothing was too much for them. Towards the end, all the staff were very supportive of us and facilitated visiting Mother whenever we wanted to. We will miss all the lovely friends that we made at Blenheim House and cannot thank them enough for making Mother's last few years as happy and comfortable as possible. I would recommend Blenheim House wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and happy environment for their loved ones.

Our beloved mother passed away at the beginning of April after being looked after at Blenheim for the past eight and a half years. We couldn't have wished for a better place for her to have ended her journey. Everyone she came into contact with in all her time there looked after her with kindness, warmth,
dignity and with professionalism. They also cared about the welfare of my sister and I as well, especially in her final days. I cannot recommend Blenheim, and the excellent level of care she received there highly enough. Thank you.

Our 89-year-old mother realised that she could no longer look after herself, and whereas coming to live with us was our first thought, we realised that due to her needs, this might only be temporary, and therefore, a residential care home would be the best decision for her. She needed to feel safe and
looked after. We looked at several care homes in the area, and we all agreed that Blenheim House was perfect in so many ways. She is now settled in a good-sized living/bedroom, with a rural outlook and ensure shower/WC, with her furniture and personal things around here. She feels at home.
The staff are amazing, clearly with the resident's well-being at the heart of what they do, always attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. With numerous in-house facilities, including several small dining rooms, a professional kitchen, providing three meals a day, as required, a cinema, a games room, etc and even a bar, it is just like a modern hotel, with care for later life. We feel Mum will be very happy at Blenheim House (or Blenheim palace, as one of our friends, refers to it, who has enjoyed a respite stay, and is poised to move there).

The process of admission to Blenheim House was smooth and swift. Excellent communication throughout and regular updates. Dad has received an excellent level of care from all members of the team, who have constantly monitored his needs and made changes when needed to his level of care needs. Every member

My son contacted home in regards if there was a space for my husband as he needed care for his terminal cancer. The home acted really quickly, my husband was in the home within a week. Cannot say how good this was, as he was most unhappy in hospital, and it has more time to spend with him.

My mother has been at Blenheim House for a respite holiday and it has done her the world of good. She had regained some mobility and is back to the mother I knew before the pandemic. If we need a longer stay we will make Blenheim House our first choice.

My mother has received first-rate care at Blenheim House. This is one for the staff at Blenheim knowing and respecting my mother as an individual. When you put this level of care next to the high-quality accommodation, the interesting and varied activities the residents are encouraged to participate
in and the delicious meals the residents are served. There is only one comment you can make - Blenheim House is brilliant

My mother-in-law is treated with respect and care, she is happy, healthy and very well looked after. Although her short term memory is poor she knows that she has been active and entertained. Her carers and support staff always find the time to answer any concerns of ours and seem to genuinely care
about the residents. We are very grateful that my mother-in-law is getting the best care possible.

My family and I have always found the staff at Blenheim so very helpful in all aspects of care of my sister. The difference it has made to her is quite remarkable. She was very lonely following the death of her husband some years ago and we felt she needed to be with other people. All the staff made
her very welcome and she seemed to fit in as soon as she arrived. She loves it at Blenheim and has put on weight due to the nutritious food the chef and staff provide, made friends and loves to be involved in the activities which are provided.
Visitors are made very welcome even in these difficult times due to the Covid Virus.
The accommodation is very good. The communal areas are also very tastefully furnished, the gardens are lovely and very well maintained. In all, it is a loving and caring Care Home.

I have spent most of my career in the NHS. I started my nursing career in Learning disabilities and then went on to do General nursing with a particular interest in Organ transplantation, in London/Cambridge/Oxford. I then spent several years within the Respiratory area, building services at a hospital in Surrey to encompass community and hospital cross-working. More recently, I moved back to Chippenham, where I was a Clinical lead in the community and then a ward manager for the community hospitals. I then went to a GP practice where I managed the Respiratory patients and undertook Hypertension management, Minor illness clinics and Learning disability reviews..


I am very passionate about patient/Resident care, Staff wellbeing, Infection control and safety.
