I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful place or the team they have working there. The care my father received was truly outstanding. I can honestly say that each and every member of staff that were involved with Dad's care and that my family and I had dealings with were just amazing. A beautiful
place, staffed with caring and lovely people, I can even include the handymen and catering staff, who also went out of their way to do things to help dad. I know you can't name names on here, which is just as well as I would have too many to mention and be worried about leaving someone out. Activities, food, decor, staff across the board were all on point.

My dad was brought in at the beginning of 2020, as he needed round the clock care. The staff were immediately on hand to help, from getting him from the car to getting him comfortable in bed.
I was a regular visitor and was always made welcome, even when I would make a coffee in the middle of a busy
mealtime. Every member of staff knew my name, even if I wasn't sure of theirs.
Unfortunately, my dad passed away last Friday (14/02/2020) and they were wonderfully sympathetic. All the staff had lovely things to say about him, but he was a wonderful character.
Also, because of my dad's illness, he was bedbound and unable to eat so was unable to take advantage of the food and amenities.

We have been using the Friendship Room to have gospel meetings for the residents. The manager has a care for the individual need of each resident.
The service and hospitality couldn't have been better, we are very thankful for this opportunity to reach out to the needs of the old people.

The Memory Cafe is superb. When users hear the music, they remember the songs and their faces come alive. One particular lady has a wonderful smile. Their eyes start to look around. My husband has dementia and being able to access this is amazing. He looks forward to each session. It is so important
for people in the community to be able to meet the residents and vice versa!

The staff team are just lovely, my Nana loves it. It's pretty, quiet and the food is great. She has company if needed, help if needed and really nice food. Thank you guys, I sleep much better knowing she's here.

My mother came in for respite care, unfortunately, her husband died whilst she was in there. She will now be staying permanently. I think the care is excellent. Day trips, entertainment, gardening club, all sorts. My stepfather was in Blenheim for 3 days palliative until he died. I can only say he was
cared for with love.

Fantastic staff, so friendly and helpful all the time.
Beautiful rooms, always clean and feel homely.
Nice communal areas and so lovely that you can visit and enjoy tea and cake together - such a normal touch but means a lot. The garden area is a nice bonus too.
But most of all my friend is settled
and content and I am not at all worried for his well being here.
They really treat him well.

We have recently moved my 92-year-old mother to Blenheim. From the day we approached reception (without an appointment) to Mum's admittance, the care, kindness and understanding shown from ALL the staff to our family was outstanding and continues. The care and support Mum is now receiving as a resident
is more than we could have hoped for. She is settling well. Thank you.

Blenheim House is a beautiful, spacious, welcoming and friendly care home. The compassion, kindness and respect shown by caring and nursing staff to residents make Blenheim House a very special place. When it was decided that mum needed to go into care, we looked at several in the area. When I walked into Blenheim House without prior arrangement, it was evident immediately that it was a home of the highest standards. I was treated with compassion, respect and integrity by all staff, when mum moved
into Blenheim House, my initial findings were superseded as the care and kindness was way above all expectations. All staff at Blenheim House are a credit to their care home and profession. I can now rest easy knowing that mum is getting the best care possible and is very happy.

The staff are extremely helpful and caring nothing is too much trouble.
During a bout of illness, nothing again was too much to ask the staff spent a lot of time and patience with mum.

Dad has advanced dementia and gets very anxious. He has visibly relaxed since being here and has given some respite to the family as a result.


All staff are calm and friendly and always have time to chat. Of particular note would be the dementia lead and the receptionist downstairs.


The only downside

is it's a little too expensive, even for a 5 star!

I found Blenheim House Care Centre very welcoming and really caring staff. Well situated on the main road from Melksham to Bath. Ideal for non-car owners as there is a bus stop right outside.

A modern facility maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Comfortable rooms of a comfortable size, able to accommodate some of my mother's own furniture. Excellent staff who cared for my mother and our family with genuine care and empathy. I felt Mum was in a comfortable, safe, caring environment.

I have spent most of my career in the NHS. I started my nursing career in Learning disabilities and then went on to do General nursing with a particular interest in Organ transplantation, in London/Cambridge/Oxford. I then spent several years within the Respiratory area, building services at a hospital in Surrey to encompass community and hospital cross-working. More recently, I moved back to Chippenham, where I was a Clinical lead in the community and then a ward manager for the community hospitals. I then went to a GP practice where I managed the Respiratory patients and undertook Hypertension management, Minor illness clinics and Learning disability reviews..


I am very passionate about patient/Resident care, Staff wellbeing, Infection control and safety.

I lead a dedicated Maintenance Team in carrying out daily and weekly compliance checks, ensuring our home has a robust safety record whilst making sure the home’s aesthetic and comfort levels remain first class.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cycling and walking our dog, Shylo.

Starting as an Activities Co-ordinator, I bring creativity, warmth, and a strong sense of purpose to my role, developing a wide range of engaging and inclusive events that help residents live well and thrive. Passionate about giving back and making every day meaningful, I lead my team with pride and a commitment to creating joyful, memorable experiences. A lover of all things French—food, wine, culture, fashion, and history—I also have a deep passion for music, with an eclectic playlist that spans jazz, classical, modern hits, and rock ‘n’ roll. Fun fact: During my time as an Executive Head Chef in Maidenhead, I made Sir Terry Wogan’s 50th birthday cake!

Hi, I'm Harriette. I am the Quality Support Lead at Blenheim House. I assist our Registered Manager, Clare and our Clinical Deputy Manager, Shona, in many aspects of the home. Using my Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care and many years of experience, I am here to maintain our excellent care standards and support the home in its care of adults with residential, dementia and nursing needs.


I am motivated to see our residents and staff being engaged, happy and living a quality of life that is meaningful to them. Supporting our staff team and helping them achieve their personal goals is something I am passionate about.

Hi, I am Lorraine and I run the Cashmere Salon here at Blenheim House. As the hair stylist for the home, my role is to meet with each resident and offer them a salon experience to help them feel they're very best.


It's wonderful to work at Blenheim House and I am honoured to meet such wonderful people with amazing lives and stories to tell. Our salon experience is part of our All-Inclusive offer and we also welcome family members to join us in the salon for a truly person-centred experience.

Hi, I'm Ann and I am the Receptionist for Blenheim House Care Home.


I work alongside our lovely teams to keep the communication effective and deliver a first-class service to our Residents, Families and Staff.


Our admin team works across all of our departments to provide a supportive and administrative role which I love as it makes each day different.
