The home itself and its surroundings are very nice, clean and efficient.

Not having any experince in a nursing home, I didn't know what to expect, but I can honestly say I couldn't fault Grosvenor House. The staff are so welcoming and caring, and I knew straight away Mum was going to be looked after like she deserved. In her last days and hours, I wouldn't have wanted her to be anywhere else but here, so a very big thank you to everyone who looked after my mum.

My mother has been a resident of Grosvenor House for over seven years. She has been extremely well cared for throughout the various stages of her illness. Her needs have changed during her time at Grosvenor House and the staff and management have adapted the care accordingly. On the rare occasion I have had to give feedback, it has been acted on immediately with the resident as the number one priority. The staff turnover is low, which is really beneficial for elderly people who either don’t like change or struggle to cope with it due to dementia or other needs. The home do not use agency staff, which ensures a consistency of care completely under the control of the management. The resident and indeed resident’s family are far from just a number, it really is family run with those values at the core. The staff and management really do ‘care’, they are very kind and always try their best. I looked around twenty plus care homes and know I made the right choice.

My father came into Grosvenor House last month after a terrible stroke. We have been made very welcome, the care and kindness have been outstanding. The food and additional care are also very good and a lovely food choice.

My nan moved here from a previous home and she is lovely and clean and well presented. She is well looked after here. The home is very clean and the staff are lovely.

My first visit to see my nan. Nan had to change home for better care for her. I cannot get over how friendly the staff are and how clean the building is. Nan seems to be brighter, cleaner and more presentable.

We have had the pleasure of getting to know the staff at Grosvenor House over the last 12 months with our dad becoming a resident. The kindness, compassion, and friendliness of all the staff is a credit to the care profession. Without their help, the last 12 months would have been much more difficult and for that, we will always be grateful for their help.

My husband is cared for very well. The staff are excellent. Happy husband, happy wife.
