I recently stayed at Roden Hall on respite having had a fall and spent four weeks in hospital. I discovered Roden Hall online and from the promotional video seemed just what I was looking for. I booked in for two weeks. After only two nights I realised it bore no resemblance to what I had seen on the
video, the food I was served was inedible. I complained, there was no apology and, it was to be the first of many complaints regarding the food. I suggest you remove the promotional video. Outside agencies are, I was informed, responsible for the poor food. There is a Chef/Cook on site. When she was in charge of the kitchen the meals were good. I found nothing that could describe Roden Hall as Luxurious and was in fact very disappointed. It was expensive because of the poor standard and payment had to be upfront. So on arriving home, I was surprised to receive an unpaid account for six thousand pounds.

To clarify, our meals are prepared fresh onsite by our Chef and kitchen team, not by outside agencies. In fact, we are very proud that our Chef is a finalist at the National Care Awards 2024. We did address your concerns by preparing special meals to suit your preferences. We apologise that these efforts did not meet your expectations. The invoice was automatically issued because your departure fell on the 1st of the month. We apologise for any inconvenience. We were unaware of any other concerns and are therefore puzzled to see a low rating in areas beyond the food. We believe our services represent good value for money, our fees are benchmarked and are excellent value for our offering. Our team went above and beyond to assist with your move and settling in, and we are saddened to learn that you left feeling dissatisfied.

Extremely pleased and happy with everything that Roden Hall offers and gives to the residents. And the support we have been given as a family is second to none. For all the time Mother has been a resident, they have made life better for her and all of us, while she has been at Roden.

My father has been a resident at Roden Hall Care Home, we cannot fault the care and respect given by the staff. Dad's room was immaculate and the gardens were lovely. Dad enjoyed his walks and sitting in the gardens. The food was excellent and the choice was first-class. The staff are amazing, excellent
level of care. Cannot thank the manager and her staff enough for being there when we needed them. This is a five star care home.

I lost my mum at the end of August. He stay at Roden Hall Care Home, I cannot fault. The care she received from all the staff was second to none. They are some wonderful people.

I cannot praise the team at Roden Hall highly enough. From the moment we were invited to look around to Mum moving in, the manager and admin team did everything to make her journey a happy one showing patience and understanding of her needs. Since moving in she has flourished. The care shown by the
staff has been exemplary with Mum's wellbeing obviously at the centre of all they do. Before moving to Roden Hall, Mum's Alzheimer's had made her an anxious, frightened lady. Now due to the wonderful team, she is happy and content. Thank you!

What a fabulous place. Not only what my dad needed, but what the whole family needed to allow us to breathe again. Wonderful staff and nothing was too much trouble. You want something special, they will get it for you. It provided a safe place for my dad to regain his strength and health.

I do not have enough words to describe the quality of care and attention given to my father and late mother, and also the support and consideration to me and the rest of our family.
