I have nothing but praise for the staff and management.
The staff are training all the time to acquire new nursing skills and are so caring. My brother has Cerebral Palsy and they are very quick to identify any problems that he has and provide the care required. They are kind and courteous at all times
and they obviously care about their "extended family". Despite all my brother's problems, he is happy there and I would not want him to be anywhere else.

My mother has end stage of Alzheimer's and needs full care. Longcliffe has proved perfect for her a lovely spacious and light room, very caring and efficient staff, nutritious and tasty food (homemade) and a happy atmosphere. The building is old and cosy and welcoming. The care given by the staff is
superb my mother couldn't receive better care and that makes me happy because she is happy.

Mum has been in the home since May 2016. Since arriving, her care has been exemplary. This includes management right down to the carers. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Mum was in a different home prior to Longcliffe Nursing Home which she hated hence the move. She has settled very
well. She was put on 'end of life care' October '16. It's February 2017 now, and this obviously speaks volumes for the care she is being given. I haven't met a member of staff that isn't eager to please. I hope staff get to see the positive reviews.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my aunt has received since entering the home eight months ago. The home is not too large so ensuring the residents have individual care which to me appears continual. On several occasions I have arrived to find carers talking with my aunt who is bed bound - she
thinks they are all wonderful!!!

My father is cared for extremely well on the whole. There does appear to be a shortage of carers at times and my father says it can be difficult often to get a carer to help. Meal times are good, with a nice variety of meals and plenty to eat. It is a happy, friendly atmosphere and all our family and
friends are made welcome.

Our family was very reluctant for our mother to go into a home. Me and my brother went round chosen care homes to see what was on offer. To be perfectly frank, there were only two homes we would consider. Out of the two Longcliffe was the most welcoming, homely and inviting. We have had a few problems
along the way but they have always been dealt with quickly and sensitively. The care my mother receives is excellent. The staff go above and beyond the call of duty for the residents. I have no qualms about my mother being in Longcliffe Nursing Home.
