Thank you for your heartfelt review. As a small, independent care home, we are delighted to hear you feel like part of our family here at Blyth Country House. Creating a warm and welcoming environment is our top priority and it means a great deal that we have succeeded in making your experience a positive one in difficult times. Our dedicated staff work hard to meet the needs of all our residents and visitors, so I will pass on your kind words. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Warm regards, Kate.
Thank you. We genuinely appreciate all feedback so that we can monitor and improve our service. Firstly please accept my sincere condolences. We have reviewed your concern and our records and there seem to be some discrepancies. During the 4 night fully funded stay, in the room chosen by yourself prior to admission your relative was nursed on an airflow mattress and was assisted with all care needs but often refused. If you were offered the ground floor room after admission it was reserved and not available please accept our apologies. On 20th Sept you requested to speak to the Clinical Lead, I offered my assistance but you declined stating you would wait for her to be available. The following 2 days were my days off. 23rd Sept. I attended mandatory training but offered my assistance to the Clinical lead though not required as she is deputy in my absence. If you wish to further discuss your concerns we would be happy to investigate further to ensure that any misunderstandings are clarified.
Thank you for your review and feedback. As a small independent privately run care home, we are able to maintain a warm, friendly and homely environment that is also flexible according to the needs and likes of our residents. Management do reward or support those that aspire to achieve. We have successfully encouraged our best carers to study for a degree in nursing and successfully financed and supported the registration of several nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Due to Covid restrictions on visitors and group sessions, activities are limited to those with staff who are tested and cleared on a one on one who basis.
Thank you. We will endeavour to do our best to meet your every requirement.
