My Mother's needs are cared for. As a late-stage dementia patient, she needs 24-hour full assistance. She seems comfortable. Nursing managers and staff will raise any concerns or issues. She needs regular cleaning after food and nappy changes. Recommendation certain members of staff stand out and deserve
special recognition.

I cannot praise Cromwell Court enough. All the staff are stars, they are caring, thoughtful, and amazing at what they do. My mum has been there for a month and doesn't want to leave! She is well looked after by the attentive staff, loves everyone, and says she's staying put. Her mental health and demeanour
have improved 100% since being there.
She has made friends, loves the activities and we have peace of mind that she is in a safe environment. Her Altzimers are regularly checked, as is her general health and we are informed straight away if there are any issues.
My mum says all the staff are angels and she couldn't fault them.
My mum is a character and fits in just right lol
The home manager is down to earth (as are all the staff) and manages the home impeccably.
The activities, the food, and all the surroundings are excellent. We would highly recommend Cromwell Court and I'm so glad I chose them to look after my mum in her twilight years.

My Dad has been at Cromwell Court for some time now and he is very happy and settled. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for my Dad, the two ladies who coordinate the activities are fantastic and go above and above to ensure that my Dad is happy and comfortable including taking him for his
haircut on a regular basis which is a fantastic help to both myself and my sister and we both work fulltime. The home is very clean and the garden area is great, my Dad loves gardening and the home has bought a greenhouse and has a regular subscription for seeds for the home and my Dad to help grow.

There is so much to say but not enough space. Mum went to Cromwell from the hospital and we as a family were very apprehensive but our minds were soon changed and our worries vanished. She has settled in so well and loves the daily activities. She has been on trips out and loves going in the drunken
duck, what a brilliant idea that was. The staff are amazing and you can see they care so much about everyone.
The manager is approachable and you can nip in her office anytime, she puts our minds at ease.
The home is clean and odorless and the garden is lovely.
Big thanks from all our family for making Mum so welcome.

Very homely environment within the home and friendly, kind staff. Residents are encouraged to eat in a dining room setting and use the lounge area together which we thought was particularly beneficial to my uncle. Rooms are bright and modern and the whole home and outside areas are well-kept, very
clean and tidy. The home manager was always available to help during weekdays, understanding and compassionate of our needs as a family of a resident. We also received feedback from a social worker who assessed my uncle whilst he was a resident and they commented how impressed they were about the kindness of the staff towards residents. Thank you from all my family for looking after my uncle it’s very much appreciated.

Cromwell Court provides a great family experience for the people under their care. We recently used one of the rooms to hold a birthday party and the staff were amazing decorating the room and providing food and drink to help the celebration along. The care home is a really welcoming place with a family
feel and would recommend to anyone looking to find a safe and secure well well-managed place for their relatives. Top marks to the manager and the team.

Staff were very pleasant, as usual. Saw Mum in her room, so more personal. Had a nice chat. Xmas decorations up, so felt festive. Mum was in main lounge area with other residents when I left, so good for interaction.

My step-father is in respite care at Cromwell Court and in the last two months that he has been staying there, I have nothing but good things to say about the friendly staff and helpful supervisors / managers. They answered all our concerns and reservations as you would when you leave your father in
a home after living at the family home for forty years. The home arranged an Elvis karaoke, which my father really enjoyed and joined in. It's one of the things he still enjoys and stimulates him. The home even has its own mini pub, which creates a good social atmosphere. A big thank you to all the staff, who have helped us through this stressful family event.

I speak for my family and for my dementia suffering father when I say this. The story will resonate with many readers of reviews when making what seems like a guilty decision, to place someone you care about into the hands of a strangers. The stress, anxiety and constant questioning yourself if you’re
making the right decision, which ultimately has to be done to look after the welfare of the person you love when it becomes too much for anyone (or more person) to have the ability to and you've exhausted all avenues. When we were informed about Cromwell Court, we had knowledge about the care home. I say this eight weeks later, Cromwell Court staff and management have made themselves and extended part of our family in such a short period of time. My father is less anxious, more involved and smiling more. The care, love, compassion, involvement and attention provided throughout the day is unbelievable. I highly recommend you visit and see yourself.

Great staff who took good care of my mum. Good size room with en-suite WC and wash hand basin. Decent food choice, something to suit most people I think. Daily activities and birthdays are always celebrated.

I can’t thank the staff enough for the way they looked after my nan. Every time I visited they were always doing fun stuff, keeping her entertained, and were so friendly. Would highly recommend this home if any more family members need 24 hour care.

Very friendly, staff treat residents like their own family, lots of activities to do, the manager is very welcoming, would recommend. The home is very clean, the staff are very hardworking, love the new pub and love seeing all the photos on social media of all residents having a lovely time.

At first, we were thinking this was a great place for our father on DTA, however, we are desperately sad about dad's decline and our family having to remind staff about our dad's needs. We currently have a 6-page complaint ongoing.
The website is inaccurate so please check prior to sending anyone there
as we would hate anyone to go through what our dad and our family are going through.

I would recommend this care home as the care and attention Mum receives is above and beyond.
Every member of staff is so helpful and happy it has a great effect on the residents.
The staff chat with each resident and get to know their personalities.
They encourage residents to join in on a variety
of activities.
It is clean and tidy and well maintained.

Amazing care home, this is not just a business it’s a home with staff who genuinely care. Best decision we made bringing my mum to live here. Spotlessly clean and lovely rooms. We were encouraged to personalise Mum's room by the manager to make it familiar. The manager is amazing always chats and interacts
with everyone. Activities are brilliant, always something going on to keep everyone busy. The lovely garden as well. Thank you for caring for my mum it really does make it easier for us as a family to see her so happy.

I've visited other care homes but found this to be the one that would be best suited to my mum's needs. Friendly staff and lots of activities to keep my mum busy. Since moving in, she has become more active and is a lot happier.

I have been the Manager here for 4 years, although I have worked at Cromwell Court Care Home for 7 years. I have been working in care for 34 years, in mostly dementia residential settings.


I absolutely love my job at Cromwell Court Care Home and pride myself on knowing every one of our residents, and I have good relationships with the families of our residents.


I have a brilliant team of staff who all give 100% to their roles.


I believe everyone should be treated as an induvial and we fully promote person-centred care. I feel I am very approachable to staff and visitors which reflects in the reviews we receive.

I have worked at Cromwell Court Care Home since 2015 and I thoroughly enjoy my position.


I overlook three EMI residential units and manage the home in the Home Manager's absence.

I oversee the nursing unit here at Cromwell Court Care Home.


I have been a nurse for 24 years and thoroughly enjoy my role. I feel I have a good relationship with the team here and our residents' family members.


I am married and I have 2 sons.


I like to maintain high standards of care and I am a firm believer in person-centred care and treating each resident with dignity and respect.

Hi, my name is Sindy. I am the Senior Activities Coordinator at Cromwell Court Care Home.


I have worked at Cromwell Court Care Home since 2019. I love my job and I love putting a smile on the resident's faces. Every day is different, with new experiences, challenges and new rewards.


I am currently working on and enjoying creating different garden areas, such as the sensory garden and fairy garden. I also have many more future projects to come!
