All ways impressed by the whole team and the care they provide. The unit my mums is on is well run, with sympathetic caring people working hard at a most difficult job. The facilities are well laid out for the residents and visitors.
Thankyou for your lovely review. Staff will be pleased to know they are appreciated
The care home team are always friendly and welcoming. They provide great care, activities and a friendly environment. The rooms are clean and tidy as well as the communal areas. Cannot ask for better care and happiness.
Thankyou so much for your lovely review. It is always nice for the staff to see how appreciated they all are
Since being admitted as a resident, she has had remarkable positive transformation where she has put on weight from a dangerously low weight, is sleeping better, had her medication reduced and has made new friends. We are delighted with her improvement and she is MUCH more happy.
The staff at Cromwell Court are absolutely superb - they are invariably kind, thoughtful, alert to residents' needs and above all calm and compassionate. They see these poor people as real human beings and obviously care deeply for them
A special shout out goes to the two ladies in the activities team for their tireless work and great activities and trips out.
The home itself is in good condition and the rooms are basic but nice and regularly cleaned.
Thankyou so so much for your lovely review, we are so happy that you are pleased with the care your mother in law is receiving. It is lovely that she has made new friends and has settled in well. The activity girls do an amazing job in keeping everyone entertained and as you say we all care deeply about everyone of our residents
My mum is a resident and since being at Cromwell Court has improved so much. She is very well looked after and the staff are amazing and go above and beyond. She is very happy and always looks clean. We as a family will always be grateful for the love and care she receives off the amazing staff. Thank you so very much.
Thankyou so much for your lovely review. The staff at Cromwell really go above and beyond for every resident.
The whole experience to date has made the very hard decision to place Dad at Cromwell easy and both myself and my sister know he will be very much looked after. Thank you to the manager and your fabulous team.
Thank you for such a lovely review of Cromwell Court Care Home! Our team at Cromwell love caring for your dad and caring for him with dignity and respect is their priority. Our activities team at Cromwell are amazing; they make sure that activities are varied for everyone and enjoy arranging trips...
We had a wonderful time on 3rd August 2024, it was my dad's 90th birthday, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. My dad had a great day. It was only my 2nd visit to the home, I am visiting from Australia, and it was lovely to see how special Dad is to those who look after him. I was very happy to experience the environment he now lives in. Thank you to all members of the Cromwell Court team for taking great care of him.
Thank you for your lovely review of Cromwell Court Care Home! We were honoured to celebrate your dad's 90th birthday with him and his family and he is indeed very special to everyone at the care home. We pride ourselves in having a wonderful team of staff at Cromwell Court who work hard to be...
I was extremely anxious about taking Mum to a nursing home but this was very quickly overcome. The staff here at Cromwell Court are amazing, caring, polite, and very hard-working, and with their knowledge, Mum was made to feel at home, and within a few days I could see was settled. A relief to say the least. She is now in a safe environment with her care needs to be met and my mind is at ease, mum has even made friends which is lovely to see. I would highly recommend Cromwell Court, staff and management do outstanding work here to ensure the very best care is given - Thank you.
What a wonderful review, thank you so much for taking the time to submit it. Thank you also for the 5* review! It's great to read that you feel that the staff and management do outstanding work and that your Mum was made to feel at home giving you peace of mind, with best wishes.
All staff, no matter what their title is (nurse, carer, cleaner, animation, maintenance, catering, admin staff etc) ensure that Dad is comfortable and all his needs are met.
His current state of health meant that we were unable to bring him home to celebrate. However, the manager and her team arranged for us, and a small family group, to use the resident's on-site 'pub' to gather together with Dad to make sure he had the best day possible. He enjoyed the time we had opening his cards and presents, and sampling the wonderful buffet supplied by the catering team. My two sisters, myself and Mum's grateful thanks to all.
We are so pleased to hear about the celebrations for your dad's 90th birthday celebrations! Our staff love to go that extra mile to make birthdays special and the catering staff do put on a wonderful buffet! It's great to know that your dad has received excellent care, our staff do work hard to...
My Mother's needs are cared for. As a late-stage dementia patient, she needs 24-hour full assistance. She seems comfortable. Nursing managers and staff will raise any concerns or issues. She needs regular cleaning after food and nappy changes. Recommendation certain members of staff stand out and deserve special recognition.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. It's good to read that your mum's needs are cared for. It would be good to know who those team members are that deserve special recognition. Maybe you could let me know by emailing info@harbourhealthcare.co.uk? With best wishes.
She has made friends, loves the activities and we have peace of mind that she is in a safe environment. Her Altzimers are regularly checked, as is her general health and we are informed straight away if there are any issues.
My mum says all the staff are angels and she couldn't fault them.
My mum is a character and fits in just right lol
The home manager is down to earth (as are all the staff) and manages the home impeccably.
The activities, the food, and all the surroundings are excellent. We would highly recommend Cromwell Court and I'm so glad I chose them to look after my mum in her twilight years.
Wow, what a review. It made me smile because you have summed up Cromwell Court and its team perfectly. I can't wait to meet your mum and completely understand when you say she is a character and fits in just right! With best wishes.
My Dad has been at Cromwell Court for some time now and he is very happy and settled. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for my Dad, the two ladies who coordinate the activities are fantastic and go above and above to ensure that my Dad is happy and comfortable including taking him for his haircut on a regular basis which is a fantastic help to both myself and my sister and we both work fulltime. The home is very clean and the garden area is great, my Dad loves gardening and the home has bought a greenhouse and has a regular subscription for seeds for the home and my Dad to help grow.
What a fantastic review and thanks for the 5* rating too! It's great to read about your Dad's life at Cromwell Court. It sounds like he's having a great time and managing to keep up with his passion for gardening. Fantastic! With best wishes.
The manager is approachable and you can nip in her office anytime, she puts our minds at ease.
The home is clean and odorless and the garden is lovely.
Big thanks from all our family for making Mum so welcome.
What a fantastic review and rating! Thank you so much. So many families have that feeling of apprehension when beginning their care seeker journey and will no doubt appreciate reading about your fantastic experience and that of your mum. Thanks for sharing. With best wishes.
Very impressed with the dedicated staff who work so hard to make sure every need is taken care of. Very clean good food and fantastic entertainment are offered to residents, very good management team, I would recommend this home to anyone who requires care.
What a fantastic review and rating. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. Best wishes.
The home is lovely and the staff are amazing with my mum, she loves them all. There are always activities on in days to keep them entertained and it is one of the nicest homes there is, nowhere else I would want my mum to be.
What a fantastic review and thank you so much for the five-star rating! The team really do make a difference to the lives of not only our residents but their wider family as well. With best wishes, Managing Director.
Very homely environment within the home and friendly, kind staff. Residents are encouraged to eat in a dining room setting and use the lounge area together which we thought was particularly beneficial to my uncle. Rooms are bright and modern and the whole home and outside areas are well-kept, very clean and tidy. The home manager was always available to help during weekdays, understanding and compassionate of our needs as a family of a resident. We also received feedback from a social worker who assessed my uncle whilst he was a resident and they commented how impressed they were about the kindness of the staff towards residents. Thank you from all my family for looking after my uncle it’s very much appreciated.
It's wonderful to read about your uncle's experience at Cromwell Court.
I'm sure your review will give reassurance to other care seekers that Cromwell Court is a great place to be.
With best wishes
Cromwell Court provides a great family experience for the people under their care. We recently used one of the rooms to hold a birthday party and the staff were amazing decorating the room and providing food and drink to help the celebration along. The care home is a really welcoming place with a family feel and would recommend to anyone looking to find a safe and secure well well-managed place for their relatives. Top marks to the manager and the team.
It's so helpful for other care seekers to get a real insight into life in Cromwell Court, from someone who has first-hand experience.
With best wishes.
Staff were very pleasant, as usual. Saw Mum in her room, so more personal. Had a nice chat. Xmas decorations up, so felt festive. Mum was in main lounge area with other residents when I left, so good for interaction.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience when visiting your mum. With best wishes, Managing Director.
My step-father is in respite care at Cromwell Court and in the last two months that he has been staying there, I have nothing but good things to say about the friendly staff and helpful supervisors / managers. They answered all our concerns and reservations as you would when you leave your father in a home after living at the family home for forty years. The home arranged an Elvis karaoke, which my father really enjoyed and joined in. It's one of the things he still enjoys and stimulates him. The home even has its own mini pub, which creates a good social atmosphere. A big thank you to all the staff, who have helped us through this stressful family event.
Thank you so much for your review and five star rating. Moving a loved one into care is a huge decision and it's so lovely to read of your positive experience. I was at Cromwell recently while 'Elvis' was performing and everyone really was having a great time. The Drunken Duck pub is indeed a great place for our residents to enjoy. With best wishes, Managing Director.
I speak for my family and for my dementia suffering father when I say this. The story will resonate with many readers of reviews when making what seems like a guilty decision, to place someone you care about into the hands of a strangers. The stress, anxiety and constant questioning yourself if you’re making the right decision, which ultimately has to be done to look after the welfare of the person you love when it becomes too much for anyone (or more person) to have the ability to and you've exhausted all avenues. When we were informed about Cromwell Court, we had knowledge about the care home. I say this eight weeks later, Cromwell Court staff and management have made themselves and extended part of our family in such a short period of time. My father is less anxious, more involved and smiling more. The care, love, compassion, involvement and attention provided throughout the day is unbelievable. I highly recommend you visit and see yourself.
With best wishes, Managing Director.
Very caring team who made my dad's last year positive, comfortable and fun, in spite of his severe dementia. Thank you.
With best wishes.
