Mum loves it here! She always says she wants for nothing and she loves the staff. Personally I find the staff very friendly and approachable. The home is clean and tidy, with excellent facilities. It is always a hive of activity with things going on for residents all week. I feel the home is well run and it is never a chore to visit. Mum is very happy and feels at home here. 10/10 from me.
Thank you for your lovely Feedback, your mum is a pleasure to look after and the staff adore her. From the moment I met your mum when she was in the hospice I knew she would be a perfect fit for Westvale, she brightens everyone's day with her kindness and laughs. We pride ourselves here at Westvale...
Made my dad feel much better as he was wishing daily he was at home.
His recovery here has improved, however his underlying issue is inevatable, I cant thank everyone here enough for looking after him as he is an d always will be the most important person in my life
Regards Ken.
Thank you so much for this review, we really appreciate you taking the time to reply and so glad Dad is improving and settling.
The speed and professionalism in which my mother was admitted to Westvale was impeccable. Your manager ensured that the process was explained clearly so all concerned were fully aware of the next steps. She went above and beyond to ensure a swift assessment of my mother and that the accommodation was ready for my mother to move from another care home at very short notice - at a time of great stress, she was amazing, calm & reassuring. Thank you
The person I visit has been in your care for 12 months. I visit at different times so have come across lots of staff. All have a smile and a hello. I would particularly like to thank Denise and Jane - they are the front face and are so patient. But, it is obvious that there is a real effort from all the staff of Westvale to look out for and care for the Residents. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this review it is very much appreciated and thank you for your lovely comments

From the moment my dad lived there, the staff treated him not just with professionalism, but with genuine love and kindness, as if he were one of their own. The team affectionately called him "Gorgeous George with the lovely smile".
When dad passed away, the care and respect shown to dad was truly touching. The staff went out of their way to ensure dad was comfortable and dignified, and they supported us with such compassion during an incredibly difficult time.
We will always be grateful to the amazing team at Westvale for the care, warmth, and humanity they showed my dad.
Thank you for everything you did for him and for us.
Love
Christine & family

You've heard the saying "happy wife, happy life" I've had a happy life since mum-in-law moved here. She is happy and well looked after, she is thriving since moving here & that makes the wife happy
Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide the review. Glad to hear the family are happy and your Mother in law is thriving.
Always something to do for residents in the program.
When residents poorly place is locked down to prevent spead which is good. Central heating still not working. All in all place is nice.
Da likes it.
Thank you for providing this feedback. I will ensure the General Manager reads this to potentially help with your dad's mobility. Our heating must've had an issue that day and I can assure you is working correctly but please do advise the Manager if you have any concerns in the future. Infection...
Mum has been at Westvale fo a few months now and I have been so happy with the care she is receiving - she is happier than she has been in a long time, she has also gained a little weight and with it she has gotten stonger - she is positively thriving. The team at Westvale have helped made her room very homely - nothing is ever to much trouble - the poor handyman has been put through his paces putting things of on the walls, then moving them, adding stuff etc and they are - like all the staff, only to happy to help. Westvale is a wonderful, caring, thriving environment & I am happy mum is here.
This is such a lovely review. Thank you for taking the time, we appreciate all the feedback and will ensure we share with staff. So glad mum is thriving and happy.
I am very happy with the care my wife is getting. Every member of staff are always so friendly and helpful. My wife is stuck in bed but the staff are always checking in to make sure she is ok and her health has improved since moving to Westvale. She is stronger and very settled now that she has her things around her. I am grateful that they are enabling me to have Christmas dinner with her in her room so she won't be alone - Thank you.
So pleased we have helped your wife improve and is happy at Westvale and we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with a review. Thank you
The staff are so caring and professional and my dad is so well looked after. Dad says the staff are lovely everyday I visit which is most days
It was so nice to see dad on their social media page up dancing like my old dad it's just wonderful
I'm so happy that he is at Westvale for what time he has left
I can't thank everybody enough
Well done all of the staff
Thank you Tracey. Your Dad is lovely and is very well liked. Glad to hear he is settling and he has a fantastic zest for life. Our Manager, appreciates your comments about the speedy admission. It's important people get the care they need quickly and we really appreciate the feedback. Thanks for taking the time to complete this review
The only time we have raised concerns is when new carers or bank staff are undergoing training initially especially at weekends. However senior carers are very quick to rectify any issues on Adas behalf and have treated family with respect.
Nursing care and the homes GP are excellent in implementing and changes required smoothly. Her 100th birthday party was memorable for all Adas family. Thank you.
Thank you Lynda for the lovely comments. Ada was truly a special person and glad you all felt was treated with dignity and respect. Once again thank you for taking the time especially at this sad time to review the home. This feedback is so important to us. Best wishes from us all at Westvale
Just want to thank all the members of staff from management to carers, activities team, kitchen staff etc for all the help that they have given mum during her stay at Westvale. They have been very supportive and helpful when things have got difficult for us and tried to guide us with the best way forward. Nurses have also given us support with what are mum is experiencing. through her life physically and mentally Even thoguh mum is receiving respite we don't feel like we are being pressured or rushed to make any final decisions.
Thank you so much for reviewing. We are here to help best we can and glad you feel supported as we understand this is a difficult time for families. It's important for the family and for Mum. Feedback is very important to us here at Westvale and we appreciate this.
The only slight criticism is that I think the activities could be improved.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. With now having the new activities lead and assistant onboard and settled you should find the activities improve. Once again thank you
