Mum has now been in Balmoral Care Home for over 8 years and I have nothing but praise for the care and attention she has received.
Particular thanks to all the staff working here as I feel mum has been made as comfortable as possible under her difficult circumstances.

Thanks again to all the staff and management.

Very caring helpful staff. My mum has been in the home since February 2016 and has settled in well. In March my mum was unwell and had to visit hospital. Staff organised an ambulance to transport my mum and I to the appointment. Recently, my mum's clothes have not been washed according to care labels and some have shrunk. Mum is always dressed and clean when we visit. Overall very pleased with the care mum is receiving.

The care home could be improved by having more staff. Sometimes the present staff have problems coping with the number of residents.

I would highly recommend Balmoral Care Home, the management and staff, caring and understanding to residents and there family.
My mum had a fall in her room in January the staff responded quickly and family in formed.
A member of the staff accompanied mum in the ambulance to reasure her and give the doctors information they needed.
Mum suffers from dementia so the well being of mum is of up most importance and Balmoral did just that.

Thank you

In our experience the staff always seem to try their best in sometimes testing circumstances. The staff have changed a lot over last few months so seems to have lost some of its continuity. Questions are usually answered and overall residents seem well cared for.

I am pleased my mum has just settled into home life in Balmoral. I am still coming to terms, after caring for mum, for the last eight years. I don't worry too much about her as I did because she now has 24/7 care. She has now been in Balmoral a year on 6th February 2016.

Due to my cousin being profoundly deaf (myself too) the deaf awareness is excellent. The staff are very caring and make sure I know what is happening too. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff to help out.
