Cleveland House Care Home

The care me and my family received today was over and beyond. Every member of management and all the staff have made what would have been a difficult day a whole world easier. This is not just todays visit but everytime I visit everyone is so polite & caring. I am 100% sure I made the right choice of care home for my mum.

I have come to Cleveland House Care Home a few times to visit my friend whom resides here. Each and everytime I visit, staff and residents are lovely. The management and office team are very helpful and have a real passion towards the care of residents and each other. I believe that Cleveland House should receive some sort of recognition for their efforts. The facilities, cleanliness, care/support here is exceptional.

My mum was in hospital the first three weeks of August, am overwhelmed at the constant enquiries made by both Claire's along with all the members of staff at Cleveland House. When mum returned to the home a meeting was arranged to discuss the way forward to help mum settle back in. My brothers and I cannot fault the level of care given to our mum and would like to thank the managers and all the staff. We have recommended the home to our friends and will continue to do so. With thanks.

The staff have been so good with my mum and dad. They moved them so they could be in the same room, which was so accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are a very good team and want to settle well.

The staff here are dedicated, passionate and caring. The needs for my mother and father-in-law were dealt with instantly. Nothing is too much for the wonderful staff. We owe them a debt of gratitude. Thank you so much.

Having dementia means I can no longer look after myself, so I totally rely on the staff and carers. I know I don't always make it easy on them, but they do a fabulous job of keeping me safe and well looked after. They take care of all my needs with a happy and professional attitude.

I can't think of anything that isn't good: food excellent, lovely kind staff, I love my room - it's always clean.

We needed accommodation for our uncle - the need was urgent as we felt he was being discharged, from hospital, too quickly, following a fall. The team at Cleveland House were fantastic, helping with transfer at very short notice our uncle spent a month at Cleveland House. He was very well looked after. The staff are friendly and approachable and took genuine interest in our uncle's wellbeing. We strongly recommend Cleveland House.

All staff are very helpful always cheerful and patient. I have a super bedroom and good connectivity.

We have no complaints of any description. The staff are very caring. The room is very clean and comfortable. Our friend is very happy and content, being here and we have seen an improvement in her health and well being.

I've been here for 6 weeks, taking a bit of getting used too when leaving your own home, as I can't look after myself no more. I have made friends and I enjoy their company and the activities.

My father has always maintained that he would never live in a care home. However, having initially stayed at Cleveland House for respite care, he decided that he would prefer to stay here rather than live at home with support from carers. This is due to the level of care, support and companionship that he receives from all the staff at Cleveland House. He has an excellent relationship with the team and we know that he is safe, comfortable and cared for. Thank you to everyone at Cleveland House.

I would like to commend all the staff for their kindness, care and moral support. Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure that the residents are kept safe and happy. The addition of the new minibus, for those that are able, I'm sure will give a lot of pleasure. The energy of the entertainment staff knows no bounds.

My dad has been a resident for over 2 years and the care he receives now is better than it has been with the new manager. My dad is up dressed and out of his room for meals. He is encouraged to join in activities or if he prefers to sit in the quiet lounge, he can sit and read his newspaper and relax. The home have recruited more permanent staff which is much better than using agency staff.

The care given to the residents is excellent. It is a great relief to know that mum is safe and cared for in a pleasant and clean environment. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

He does get lonely due to speech problems caused by his Parkinsons which cant be helped. Satisfied with most services.

I have been a resident at Cleveland House since 19/02/24. I have enjoyed everything about the home. Staff are excellent to me becoming friends and not just carers. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cleveland House and will be joining in on any activities or activities to help fund more things for the home. I would congratulate Cleveland House for homeless friendliness and all the love they show to residents.
