Westfield Park Care Home provides high-quality care in a luxury environment. Facilities across the Home include The Westfield Arms (an in house pub), hair and beauty spas, cinema room, tea room and an artificial bowls green.

The home operates as two units, the new build Home provides residential care and The Haven providing specialist dementia care. Both units provide a respite room and day care spaces also. The Haven includes its own dining and lounge areas, including an activity room, tea room and cinema, with residents supported by a dedicated dementia care team and manager.

All the bedrooms have full en-suite wet rooms. The social facilities at the home include a full beauty salon, large activities room, an artificial outdoor bowls pitch, an in-house pub called Westfield Arms, tea room, a shop called Sweets & Treats for all of life's essentials and a cinema room. These facilities are utilised by visiting friends and families and also within the activity programme. Remaining active and stimulated is a big part of the care plan for each resident at Westfield Park and there is a team of activity and social event coordinators across both homes who provide activities 7 days a week, from in house entertainment and one on ones to trips out to Castle Howard or the beach at Bridlington.

Management and staff always welcoming. Rooms are large and well equipped. Facilities and activities are good. A good variety of food. If any issues arise you are always listened to and kept updated. Overall very happy.

My dad enjoyed wonderful days of daycare at Westfield Park until his recent passing. Being able to have a lay in the bath, thanks to their wonderful facilities of a bath that lifts them in, and feeling pampered with the opportunities of using the hairdressers and all the great facilities, really made
his time there so enjoyable. The staff are amazing, and the managers were seen interacting not only with my dad but all the residents throughout the day.
I would 100% recommend Westfield Park to anyone looking for high-standard care for their loved ones.

My mum did not settle in the first two care homes. Had four personal recommendations for Westfield Park. Mum was happy from the first day. The management regularly asks Mum if she has any concerns and if everyone is treating her well. They have acted on increasing her mobility, which is something Mum
is really keen to do. Mum is much more alert and healthier, both physically and mentally thanks to all the attention she receives. Cannot fault her care in any way.

Since losing Mum, Dad has resided at Westfield Park Care Home.
He has received good care from the team.
All queries are dealt with immediately and Dad is treated with dignity and respect.
The facilities are excellent and the care home is very well maintained.

Initial impression very homely with lovely staff. On closer inspection, residents are cheerful and friendly and introduced themselves and offered help to my dad. All staff are so friendly and made my dad and all our family feel at home. Beautiful gardens and rooms. Nothing is too much trouble. Made
a difficult decision so much easier - realising that someone needs full-time care is hard.

Mum was only in the care home for a little over a week for end-of-life care. Found Westfield Park Care Home to be a very pleasant home with excellent facilities. The rooms were very clean and airy. The staff were very good and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend this home for any family
considering putting elderly relatives into care.

All the staff are very good workers and give the old people lots of respect. They do have some fun with the old people and make them happy. They are kind and caring, I can't find any faults at all. The management is also courteous and do their very best to keep them busy, getting them outside and going

All staff on site were gentle and sweet with my dying grandmother. They went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my grandmother, me and my family had everything we needed in what was a very traumatic and heartbreaking time. The staff showed empathy to all involved, I cannot recommend a care

Both my parents have been residents at Westfield Park Care Home for over four years. During this time they have been treated with courtesy and kindness and have enjoyed a very high standard of personal care which was maintained undiminished throughout the period of Covid restrictions. This summer, despite
staff shortages, brought about by Covid, the home organised a number of outdoor activities, most notably a garden party in honour of Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. I will always treasure the memory of that afternoon spent with my parents.

Our parents were residents for the best part of five years and had connections for longer. The care they received was excellent throughout. They were treated with care and compassion. Although they were both immobile for a length of time, they did not develop any bedsores. During Covid, the communication
with us was excellent and we were able to Skype regularly. We can't thank the staff enough.

It was so hard to even think about a care home for our mother, she was at end of life and we only wanted the best care for her. Well, we chose the perfect place, the staff were amazing, went above and beyond for not just our mother but with family members too. They helped in any way possible to make
her and our last few week's with her so special. The place is run so well, as soon as you walk through the doors you could see what a lovely place it is. Our family can't thank all the staff enough for everything they did for us.

Mum first became a resident after being a day patient who then moved in for a week's respite. At the end of that week, she wouldn't leave! Being a people person, she really enjoyed the community spirit and the company. The treatment she received has been world-class in terms of kindness and compassion,
as Mum's dementia progressively got worse. I was concerned at one point that she may get too ill to stay, but straight away, the assistant manager put my mind at rest by assuring me Mum could stay until the end of her days. Sadly, Mum passed on a couple of weeks ago, at nearly 92; the end of life care she received was simply staggering. I cannot thank the manager, assistant manager and all the carers. In summation, the average life expectancy for someone in mum's condition when admitted is 18 months. Mum lived for 5 and a half years. I would actually credit The Haven with extending Mum's life. Rest assured; you will not find better.

My father has just returned home after spending three weeks respite at Westfield Park. He had been in hospital for six weeks having had major surgery, sepsis and also Covid. On arrival at Westfield Park, he was still in much need of care and assistance to aid his recovery. I cannot thank the Manager
and her staff enough for their patience, caring and understanding. My father was given lots of encouragement and support and I'm sure this enabled him to return home much earlier than we had hoped for. We are so pleased we chose Westfield Park to take care of him.

I can’t speak highly enough, it’s almost like they have bought Mum back to life again after a very long and difficult time in the hospital. Mum’s comfortable and happy and I have peace of mind, knowing she is getting the best of care. I can’t thank the Westfield Park team enough.

My mum has been with Westfield now for almost a year; it's not been an ordinary year either! She became a resident in Feb 2020 and lockdown commenced March 2020.
The year that followed was very difficult for everyone and remains the same now Jan 2021.
The staff and management have gone above and
beyond to keep residents and staff safe during this pandemic. Not only with the extra cleaning and having to wear masks etc, but they have also stepped up the activities and finding lots of new ways to keep the residents happy and active.
The overall testimony comes from Mum herself, during our secure screened visits, she is happy, smiles and chats. This is the best anyone could ask for.
Credit goes to the management and the hard-working carers for their dedication and care during these very difficult times.
I would highly recommend Westfield Park residential/dementia home.
