My Dad has been a resident on all three floors of Aspen Court and I have to say he's had exceptional care everywhere he has been. All members of the team treat him like one of their own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aspen Court to anyone looking for care for their families. A lovely place to be.

The manager and all the staff day and night and staff nurses hairdresser and chiropody team did a brilliant job looking after Mam, helping her to eat, drink, wash, dress, and keep her nice and comfortable in the last few months of her life during palliative care and end of life care.

The staff and management were absolutely marvellous. They couldn't do enough for my sister whilst in their care. They made her feel safe and comfortable in all respects. She loved being in the home for the short while she was there. My sincere thank you for everyone at Aspen Court.

Excellent staff, could not do enough for me and my family to celebrate mine and my husband's 60th wedding anniversary. They also look after my husband with care and dignity. They always make you welcome when my family and I go to visit him, they are really nice.

My mother stayed at Aspen Court Care Home from December 2023 until she passed away in January 2024 and I could not have wished for a better place for her. The home itself is clean and modern and the staff are always cleaning to keep it as pristine as possible.
The staff were very open, welcoming, and
friendly. They showed us all the facilities and made sure we were comfortable ourselves.
Even though my mother was bedridden throughout her stay, the team did everything they could to make her comfortable and happy. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
There simply aren't any negatives to Aspen Court and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Our mother was in Aspen Court from January to November 2023. Throughout her time there, she was safe, clean, well-fed and treated with nothing but dignity and kindness by all members of staff. The environment is clean and pleasant and the staff, in particular, are wonderful, kind, caring and professional.
We are so happy that we chose Aspen as her final home because we had complete faith she was well cared for.

From the moment we arrived the staff at Aspen Court were amazing, for the first time in what seemed like forever we were finally at ease with the care of our relative. In the short time my mam was living at Aspen Court, she was very well cared for. Every member of staff was always warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are nicely furnished, spacious, clean and comfortable.

My mother was in Aspen Court Care Home from February 2023 until she passed away in September 2023. Although bedridden the whole period, she always looked comfortable every time the family visited. The care home is exceptionally clean and seems to have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff were
professional, caring, compassionate, approachable and always readily available to speak to for information regarding my mother. I can't thank them enough for the quality care they gave my mother.

Cannot fault the service and level of care in Aspen Court. My dad had been in and out of hospital for weeks before being admitted, initially just for an assessment, now he is so settled, calm and content and we’re delighted to have secured a long-term placement for him.

My dad passed away following complex physical and mental issues while under the care of Aspen Court. The nursing staff were amazing in supporting my dad through this and subsequently in talking with family members. Critically, the nursing staff did their very best for him in his last hour, showing compassion,
kindness and excellence of care, ensuring her was treated with dignity and was not alone. Thank you from all of his family for this kind support.

My dad was a resident from February to June 2023. The care provided was very good, the carers always trying to support my dad who was challenging. The glimpses of my dad enjoying himself dancing with care staff demonstrated a positive relationship between carers and my dad.

Thank you to all staff who looked after our sister. Always kept informed of any problems. All staff willing to have a chat. Dietary needs were met. Dogs were allowed to visit and always made welcome by all staff.

My mam has been in Aspen a good few months now. She settled straight away. The staff are amazing and mam enjoys singing and dancing with them all. All staff are amazing and the manager keeps us informed on any changes or anything we need to know. Always greeted with a hello or wave if the manager is
busy. I am so happy we chose Aspen for mam's care.

Every time I come to visit my grandma I am always greeted with warm smiles. If I ever feel anxious about seeing her, all staff are friendly and are glad to help. This makes my overall experience amazing.

My husband has been a resident for almost 2 years at the most difficult time of covid and closures, not being able to see our loved ones. It was a relief when we were allowed in to actually see what the home and staff were like. I was lucky in this trying time to have Aspen recommended to me when my
husband needed nursing care and I could not visit the building. His care by all the staff has been very good. They all work so hard to keep both residents and visitors happy. It is pleasing that things are getting back to normal with activities for those who can take part. Knowing they are cared for is important to family.

My Father has been a resident in Aspen Court for 2 years. He has received outstanding care and support from all staff. The manager and reception staff are amazingly kind, caring, supportive and very welcoming. The carers work so hard making a happy, relaxed environment and my Dad who is so precious
to me is happy and very well looked after. For this, I will be forever grateful. It's not just a job to all staff including the manager, they genuinely care. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I have found the Manager, Office staff, Nurses and all staff very accessible as regards answering any queries or discussing any problems. The nursing care, as far as I am concerned, given to my wife could not be bettered and the daily care given by the carers is brilliant! The Kitchen staff are great
as regards the food prepared and the dietary demands, likes and dislikes which they bring into consideration for my wife. Cleanliness is of a very high standard in all departments. Everybody is very friendly and helpful for anything ranging from help and advice to listening to the needs of my wife and concerns that I and the family may have. The love and care given is exemplary and I would have no concerns at all in putting forward the name of Aspen Court, Gateshead as a Home to be trusted for all that is excellent in care and nursing! My wife suffers from dementia and has resided at Aspen Court since January 2018.
