The best part of Victoria House are the staff! Very caring, kind and honest. Had an incident where they found a large sum of money in a pair of trousers which has probably been there for years! They were on the phone immediately to report it, very much appreciated. They respond immediately to the smallest
problems - maybe regarding mislaid items, mixed up equipment etc. They all seem to treat the residents with dignity and kindness.

My Nana stayed in Victoria House from Aug 15 until May 16.
She was extremely well cared for. All her needs were met 24/7.
The nursing team managed to stabilise her medical conditions which hadn't been managed in her previous care home and they did this within just two months of her moving there.
My Nana's dignity was maintained throughout her stay which was of utmost importance.
The staff were so friendly and always helpful.
My Nana was so happy throughout her stay which was the most important thing.
The end of life care she received was excellent and the staff supported us as a family more than we could have ever asked for.
I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Further to my previous comment I agreed to three months to see if things improved. I am pleased to say great steps have been applied and maintained and my mother is beginning to be treated in a better way and standards in all areas are being raised.

My father was a client at this home for a number of years before he died. I used to visit every day and still do but not as often as I used to. Over the years I have visited the home, I have never had or seen any mistreatment of any of the clients by the staff.
The staff have always been polite and
caring and courteous to myself and the clients. I couldn't fault the way they cared for my dad right up to the day he died. Other homes in the company at the time had a bad report but nothing I saw in and around the care home was of a low standard.

My mum came into Victoria House after a stay in hospital. She is well cared for, she is treated with dignity at all times. The staff are friendly and approachable. Mum has complex needs and is now settled and well cared for. The food is well prepared and well presented and nutritional. The home has

The staff are caring, honest, 24 hr care excellent. Food was disgusting when mother was first admitted after discussion things improved and meals are now eaten and enjoyed. We would like to thank all staff for caring about our mother at this time in her life and also to inform you that the home as really

I cannot commend Victoria House enough for the care and compassion shown to my mother-in-law and members of our family. We treat Victoria House as her home - nothing is too much trouble for the staff and by extension they look after us too!

My sister had a stroke at home August 2015, she was taken to North Tees Hospital where she spent about 6-7 weeks recuperating. It was obvious that she would need further care so we searched for a home that provided nursing care and came up with Victoria Nursing home and we are so pleased with our choice
because we have found the care, food, room etc to be excellent.
