It is a three-story modern home offering nursing care, residential care, respite care and dementia support.

The staff have been amazing looking after my grandfather while he is there. Cannot fault them, just wish there were more of them, so they weren't so understaffed.

When I was asked if I agreed for my mother be transferred to a care home for end-of-life care from the hospital, I was initially concerned. I asked if I could visit the care home and was immediately told that I could. As the home was within the grounds of the hospital, I was able to do this quite quickly.
The staff were welcoming and cheerful, the environment was clean and homely looking and I was shown two rooms which were available at that time. Mum was transferred the same day and I have never regretted the decision. As a family, I feel we were all supported as Mum reached her final days. Staff were caring and looked after Mum as I would have done if I had been able. We were able to decorate her room with pictures and items from home. The nursing staff kept us informed every step of the way. I feel that staff genuinely cared about us all. When she passed the nursing staff continued to support us, helping with organising a funeral director and answering a million questions.

My mam has been in Kingston Court Care Home for a number of years now. She is settled and likes the carers, who care about their charges. The manager has always got time to discuss things and the nurses will discuss Mam's care plan if I am worried about anything. I feel confident she is well cared for
and happy.

Heartful thanks to all the staff for the care that both my parents received during their time at Kingston Court. During what were difficult times over the last couple of years staff showed their care, compassion and love for my parents as individuals and as a couple. That support extended to me and
the rest of the family too.
Staff from all departments contributed to their care in a professional manner, and I know there were many people who contributed and played a part in supporting them.
Towards the end of my parents' lives it was sometimes the short conversations that they had with staff that the individual staff member wanted me to know about, and this was so reassuring. There was also constant checking that I was OK. I knew my parents were in safe hands.

Kingston Court Care Home really care! My mum has only been discharged from hospital for a short time and already we know we made the right choice. My wife and I arranged a meeting with the care home manager within a week of my mum arriving there to discuss her ongoing care needs. We ended up meeting
both the Manager and Deputy Manager and they couldn't have been more helpful. Suffice to say that both my wife and I came away from the meeting feeling we had received more help, guidance and advice in the space of an hour, than we had received from the NHS and the social care system in the seven and a half years we had been looking after Mum at home. The room that Mum is now in is clean and airy and she is far more settled than she has been in a long time. I know it's early days but all the staff seem friendly, helpful and extremely caring which is what you want in a care home.

My husband has been a resident on an interim basis whilst awaiting adaptations to our home in order to maintain full twenty-four-hour nursing care. The management and care of my husband have been beyond my expectations. Staff are empathetic and always professional. However, a recent incident where an
open conversation with a member of staff was overheard and reported by a relative erroneously about the content/context of our conversation. In order to minimise people repeating my conversations, I will now keep my husband's door closed.

Poor cleanliness on ground floor/old food on chairs, drink spilt up the wall? When? It looks old.
Insects crawling on corridor floor eg: woodlice. Carpet and chair dirty with spilt food in the room. The skirting board needs to be washed.

My mam has been in Kingston Court for 7 and a half years, in this time I have found my mam's care has been good. In the last few months, I have noticed a large turnover of staff and yet another manager who I have not met yet.

My mum spent the last 10 months of her life at Kingston Court after a fall due to the deterioration in her dementia. It was extremely stressful particularly for my dad to relinquish her care to a nursing home after being Mum's carer for 12 years. The staff made this process so much easier for us. Compassion
and care is at the heart of this home and allowing my dad to be her essential carer and to stay active in her care daily really helped my dad during this transition.
Supporting us as a family in the last 4 days of my mum's life meant so much to us and being present when my mum died helped us at this difficult time. Staff are welcoming and approachable and nothing is a bother. The home is immaculate and my mum particularly enjoyed her meals and the fantastic birthday cake for her 80th birthday that was made by kitchen staff! I would not hesitate to recommend Kingston Court to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

The staff made me very welcome whilst waiting for my husband to be transferred to the home from hospital. I was able to unpack his belongings just before he came in. We spent about 3 hours together during which time he enjoyed his dinner. Everyone is pleasant and it's a big comfort to me knowing he
will have care 24/7.

My mother has had continued care throughout the Covid pandemic. She seems settled and content when we haven't been able to visit. It would be nice to have more updates from the home as to what goes on. It is sometimes very difficult to contact anyone, and when visiting resumed, it would have been nice
to have a conversation with someone.

Our mam was in Kingston Courts care for about 18 months until she passed away. She had the best possible care and a safe place to call her home. All staff have been brilliant even going above and beyond on occasions with COVID and our mam's condition. I would say they were family when we weren't allowed
to attend, thank you very much for caring for our mam.

A good atmosphere at Kingston Court with lovely staff. Welcoming, friendly and always helpful. They made us feel better at such a stressful time. Our mum came to this place unplanned and I'm so glad she did. Good memories, she was comfortable here. I haven't completed all ratings because she wasn't
eating and neither could she join in with activities due to her condition.

My dad was in Kingston Court for a short period. I can honestly say from the day he entered until his passing, the management and staff went above and beyond to make my dad and our family feel welcome and nothing was too much bother. I was amazed how all the nurses and carers with their busy schedules
found time to really get to know Dad. Our family wish to thank them all for everything and for allowing us to spend the last few hours with Dad.
