I have a high degree of confidence in them. The home feels like a genuine home for resident. Their bedrooms could be a little bigger, but one, of course, understands the pressure of space, this is a minor point only. Overall, very happy.
My mam is cared for with genuine affection from the hard-working staff at Jack Dormand. I know I leave her in safe hands.

Wonderful home, all of the staff are out of this world; very attentive and helpful. I cannot fault the home and staff in any way at all. They take a lot of the stress away from our family as we know our mother is very well cared for and we need not worry.

Marie has gained over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support for older people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Marie joined Jack Dormand as Home Manager as she closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby organisations and is always quick to welcome the local community to Jack Dormand.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Marie remarked: “I just love having the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of our Residents.”
Outside of work, Marie enjoys swimming and spending time with her family.
