Lothian House is a beautiful care home, well decorated, clean and homely. The staff are wonderful and have taken every care of my mum during her stay. Although Mum didn't participate in any of the activities there were plenty on offer. She took all her meals in her room and said they were lovely. Any problems that arose were dealt with quickly. Mum has enjoyed her time here and has said she would be happy to come back.

My mother was a resident at Lothian House for only 8 weeks but I can honestly say she received the best care. From walking in on that first day I just knew it was the right place for her. Lothian House is spotlessly clean and the residents all seem happy. The staff make a fantastic team and nothing is a trouble for them. They not only cared for my mother but us as a family were well looked after. When Mam's health worsened we were allowed to stay with her and she was treated with the utmost care, consideration, and respect. Well done each and every one of you. Thank you so much.

As the son of my mother, I have to say the facility and staff have been fantastic. My mum has been a temporary resident prior to her move into living accommodation. She has been treated wonderfully by the team at Lothian House. A great experience.

As a frequent visitor, I am always given a warm welcome by staff and residents. The home is clean, well appointed and rooms/facilities are of a high quality. All staff are friendly, amiable and very supportive providing regular updates on mam’s health and wellbeing. The commitment, compassion and genuine care shown by staff to residents is obvious to see, the residents looking happy and well cared for. The home is a true credit to the dedication and the professionalism of the team, and I know mam is respected and well cared for. Overall an excellent care home which I highly recommend.

Our mam was in Lothian House Care Home for palliative care. The staff were outstanding. Our mam received the best care as did we, the family. I can’t recommend Lothian House enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to all the staff. You were all fabulous.

Most of the staff were absolutely excellent and could not have done more for my grandma during her final five weeks, They also looked after the family extremely well during this difficult time, especially those I called the dream team. One senior member of staff needs a lot of improvement, however, overall I would recommend Lothian House to anyone.

Just spent a lovely afternoon with the residents of Lothian House. Entertainment from the Rainbow Singers, followed by afternoon tea and a glass of wine. It was great to see everyone joining in with the singing and a lovely friendly atmosphere in the home.

My dad has been at Lothian House since May 2022. Throughout this time, he had constantly been treated with dignity and respect. The staff are just amazing, from the cleaners and kitchen staff through to the management. Well done, everyone. The days out, activities and entertainment are thoroughly enjoyed by my father and the other residents. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you all.

My mother has been at Lothian House Care Home since just before the Covid lockdowns of 2020. As I live overseas, I worry about her constantly. Thankfully, this July, I was finally able to visit. The staff at Lothian House were so warm and welcoming. They all treat the residents with respect and care. I noticed how the staff always look at the residents and say their names, often accompanied by a hug, a rub on the back and some friendly banter - they really connect with their residents. The Care Manager was able to meet with us and discuss our mother's health and well-being in detail and give us a full rundown on what her day is like. She was honest about her adaptive skills and we felt really reassured that our mother is in capable hands. I enjoyed being able to 'hang out' with my mother in the lounge or on the garden patio. The activities look like fun and it was lovely to see photos of everyone having fun. I left feeling content that my mother was happy and safe. Thank you Lothian Legends!

My father has been here at Lothian for over 8 months now. During that time he has received excellent care and attention from a dedicated and professional team of carers and associated staff. This has enabled my father to fully settle in after what had been a traumatic time in his life. I cannot praise them enough. A very big thank you from my father and his family.
