Only a visit under COVID restrictions, not been in the home properly so some of the ratings, I don't really know about. Everything seems fine to me.

My mother moved to Lothian House in September 2020 following a period of illness. She has been wonderfully looked after by all the staff who have kept the family updated throughout the pandemic. My mother's happiness and good health is a testament to the wonderful people at Lothian House.

My mum is well and healthy and clearly enjoys the company and companionship of all the carers involved in her care. The love and kindness are evident, and I cannot thank the carers enough for providing this during these difficult times as I am not in a position to do it myself; I really will be eternally grateful Mum has continued to thrive since coming to live at Lothian House, and during the last 12-months of the Coronavirus pandemic, which is due to the care and support provided by everyone involved with Lothian House, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring environment for their loved ones. I find that the care my mother has received in Lothian House has been excellent. She is happy, content and well cared for and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the care home to anyone and in fact I already have.

Jill has gained over 20 years of experience in providing care and support to older people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and committed leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Having worked at Lothian House for a number of years, Jill closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Lothian House.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Jill remarked: “I just love the satisfaction of ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Residents.”
Away from work, Jill enjoys weekends away with her partner and socialising with her friends and family.
