When I come to see my gran she always looks well. The staff are very kind and supportive. The grounds are very clean and tidy and are very well kept. I would highly recommend Lothian House.

Mam first came into Lothian for 3 weeks of respite care, but then did not want to go back home. She feels safe and well looked after and enjoys her meals, especially the glass of red wine that she always has with her meal. The garden area with its chairs and umbrellas has been a lovely area to sit during the hot weather. I would recommend Lothian House to anyone whose relative is needing extra care.

Staff are very helpful and if there are any problems I am always contacted by phone or told when I visit my Mam. The care home is nice and airy and has an outside decking area, making it great to sit outside in the sun. My Mam is safe and happy in this care home.

Jill has gained over 20 years of experience in providing care and support to older people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and committed leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Having worked at Lothian House for a number of years, Jill closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Lothian House.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Jill remarked: “I just love the satisfaction of ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Residents.”
Away from work, Jill enjoys weekends away with her partner and socialising with her friends and family.
