Very good looking after Dad as a resident. Staff were wonderful when Mum took ill when visiting him. They went the extra mile and always enquired about her health.

Dad is happy and has never complained to us about his care.

Absolutely brilliant I couldn't recommend the home enough. The staff are always professional and very friendly and approachable. The food that I've seen is lovely, the rooms are clean. My mam though, I thought a few weeks back wouldn't be here, has recovered marvellously down to the care and attention she receives from the home.

Mam first came into Lothian for 3 weeks of respite care, but then did not want to go back home. She feels safe and well looked after and enjoys her meals, especially the glass of red wine that she always has with her meal. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the home is clean and well kept. The staff are very caring and treat the residents like family members. The garden area with its chairs and umbrellas has been a lovely area to sit during the hot weather. I would recommend Lothian House to anyone whose relative is needing extra care.

I came into Lothian House for 3 weeks whilst my family went on holiday to China. When they came back, I didn't want to leave. I felt lonely at home, I really loved it here. I met new and old friends whom I haven't seen in years.

I have had 3 rooms and staff have been very helpful to ensure I'm safe and retain my independence. I now have a room with a lovely view as I requested.

I am totally happy with the care my wife receives in Lothian House. The staff are fantastic, especially the deputy Manager. Nothing is ever a bother to her, nothing is too much trouble. She is great. I have spoken to the other staff also about her and they think she is great also. I would not wish my wife to be anywhere else.

Staff are very helpful and if there are any problems I am always contacted by phone or told when I visit my Mam. The care home is nice and airy and has an outside decking area, making it great to sit outside in the sun. My Mam is safe and happy in this care home.

Mam has been in the home for 12 years. The staff know our mam just as well as we do. We are very happy with the care mam receives, it is 100%.
Mam talks about how great the night staff are and say they are fantastic. Mam enjoys the food and has a variety of choices.

Lots of activities for mam to join in, a fantastic home.

Excellent standard of care - my uncle is always treated with dignity and genuine care.

A great range of activities and trips are provided which is of great benefit to my uncle, who likes to keep as active as possible. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for the residents, supported by a very good hands-on manager.

The home is warm, clean, welcoming and a very comfortable place for elderly residents to be kept safe with outstanding care.
The staff are exceptionally professional, kind and can't do enough for the residents and also for the relatives.
The attention to detail making sure we were well cared for during the final stages of our relative's life was exemplary.

We can't thank the staff enough.
