Mum came to Ty Enfys by very reliable recommendation.
She came needing nursing care and since she arrived in February 2017 the attention and care have been exemplary.
The home is very particular in the personal needs and requirements of my mum and this seems to be across the board.
Everyone who works
here is always smiling and very respectful of residents.
Mum is always busy with activities and seems very happy.
I would recommend Ty Enfys highly.

My mother has been in Ty Enfys for two and a half years on the dementia care floor.
I have found her level of care excellent and the staff very caring and helpful.

Today I visited at lunch time and was overjoyed to find my mother in law actually eating. For some time now she had been very reluctant to make any real effort at meal time. The staff have always been supportive and caring and this has already had a really positive effect.

Ty Enfys Care Home looked after my mother in their nursing unit for 2 and a half years until her death last month. During this time she was always treated with patient kindness and cheerful efficiency. The excellent entertainment team ensured that she never felt bored or lonely.
My only minor criticism
concerned the catering - possibly the food could have been prepared a little more to elderly tastes, however, in appropriate circumstances. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ty Enfys to others. Over and above the excellent care given to my mother. The team were also extremely supportive to us as a family, our thanks go to everyone at the home.

It was recently my mother's birthday and the staff at TyEnfys immediately decorated one of the lounges with balloons and happy birthday banners. Although I had decided to buy a birthday cake and drinks, additional food and nibble were provided by the kitchen, staff were also present at the party to
assist with the food and drink and enjoyable time for all.
My mother has also recently won an in-house competition and next week my mother's wish will be fulfilled when a carer will take her by taxi with a hamper, including wine to her brother's house for afternoon tea. This home provides lots of lovely touches to enhance residents.

There didn't seem to be enough staff when I visited. However, the staff that were here were lovely and caring. Perhaps the rooms are too warm and there seems to be a general fear of fresh air! i.e no windows open.

Ty Enfys is a fantastic home. My mother has Alzheimer's late stage. It is so reassuring to know that there are so many lovely people at the home who are so dedicated to making my mother's stay and all the others so comfortable. The cleanliness, friendliness, activities facilities cannot be faulted.

After many difficult months living at home being cared for by his elderly wife, my uncle was admitted to Ty Enfys. My aunt felt totally depressed about the situation but she is now extremely positive, she feels that the care my uncle receives is excellent - she could not provide this level of care at
home. The staff are all attentive and courteous. My aunt visits Ty Enfys several times a week and has nothing but praise for the staff, the atmosphere, cleanliness and the facilities provided.
I too have been impressed (I live in Scotland so I visit every few weeks). My uncle is happy and settled and has even put on weight!

My wife joined Ty Enfys in December 2016 having been diagnosed with Alzheimer's 6 years previously. My family and I have been most impressed with the quality of the typical environment (despite being part-way throughout a pre-determined refurbishment period), but important though this is, it is their
people who are Ty Enfys's greatest asset.
All staff are warm, friendly and welcoming, nurses and carers who really care, domestic and catering staff are clearly committed to the highest standards. Whilst dementia is a cruel debilitating condition, Ty Enfys people deal with it in a professional, caring, even affectionate and always cheerful manner and still find time to show concern for the continuing welfare of families. To sum up, warm, welcoming, caring and always smiling!!

My father has been in Thank you Enfys for about 7 months during which time he has slowly deteriorated in spite of the care and help he has been given.
His medical needs have been carefully monitored throughout his stay. In the last week of January, he developed an infection, which was quickly picked
up and treated. However, he has become bed ridden but his care has been excellent.
He is clean and comfortable, encouraged to eat and drink. He is given patient help in these activities.
The staff are cheery and caring even when he is grumpy and uncooperative.

I am delighted to be able to provide a review of this excellent care home. Dad has been a resident for many years and has found it a wonderful caring community with an active and interesting activities programme. Although all the facilities are to a very high standard, what makes this home outstanding

My father often tells me that he is very happy at Ty Enfys and I am always made very welcome there.
All the staff are kind, friendly and know me and my family. The standard of care and cleanliness is exemplary. My father benefits greatly from being encouraged to take part in activities and I feel

My mum is cared for here at Ty Enfys on the nursing floor. My sister and I come as often as we both can along with our husbands and children (mum's grandchildren) but at the end of the day when we are in our homes we are both happy and rest assured in the knowledge that mum has the best care that can
be offered to her at this time. I personally find all the staff on the second floor very professional but above all very friendly, kind and loving towards our mum which is the most important, I think.

From the time mum came to Ty Enfys with dementia she was treated with dignity, caring, patience and love. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and all tasks were carried out with a smile. Different events are organised to keep residents occupied I.e. Music morning Tuesday, knit and natter Wednesdays
etc. In 8 years my mum did not have one bedsore because of the care. I would highly recommend Ty Enfys to all my friends.
