As soon as I walk in the very friendly staff made sure I'm taken to my aunt's room. During my visit, I'm offered tea and have a lovely chat about my aunt. Her health, diet and needs are always updated and my input is always noted. All the staff that I have been involved with are so caring and very friendly, this comes across in my aunt's opinion too. She feels so comfortable with each one. I personally have many chats with one member of staff in particular, my favourite.

She is always looking fresh, clean and her clothes are chosen with care. She enjoys the meals which are always different from day to day and the carers are ever ready to attend her every request. The carers are always cheerful, helpful and understanding of her particular needs.
Mam has been here since August 2022 and from day one we have felt like one of the family. The staff are all special and it's so hard to single anyone out, they keep me reassured and informed. I'm happy they are doing all they can to keep mam safe and comfortable. Always have a greeting and a smile.

Received with a great welcome. After we'd managed to get in, we found entry difficult, all staff were so friendly and welcoming. The ambience of the place tells it's own story of being relaxed, friendly and warm.

The friendliest of welcomes are given to visitors. Everyone working here has a smile for visitors and residents alike. It really feels like a comfy home, informal. We even sat and chatted in the hairdressers. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone.

Thomas closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. He extends this caring approach to his colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked about why he chose to work in the care sector, Thomas remarked:
“Everyone needs help sometimes. We've all been in periods of our lives where we need someone to help us, regardless of age. I feel privileged working in the care sector and giving people the help they need.”
Thomas talks about his proudest achievement when becoming a father and having to rebuild his house after severe flood damage on his own, finishing it three days before his son was born!
