As a family, we are very happy with the level of care given to our mum. She is happy there and we have peace of mind knowing she is safe and being looked after. Like everything in life there may be the odd time we notice something but know we can speak to the staff with confidence it will be addressed.

There aren’t enough positive words to describe Kyle Court Care Home. My gran found a new home in Kyle Court from July 2023 until her passing in January 2024. Although her stay was relatively short, the positive impact that the staff had on her life was outstanding. The staff truly treated my gran like
family. The personable nature of every staff member is a testament to the family environment they have created. Trusting a care home with your loved one is a difficult process but the whole team made it so easy for both my Gran personally and our full family.
The level of respect and care the staff have for the residents is so lovely. I was worry-free in knowing that all of her needs were met with the highest level of professionalism and care at all times.
If you are finding yourself in the difficult process of putting a loved one into care then please do yourself a favour and enquire with Kyle Court, the relief you will feel knowing your loved one is safe in their care is amazing.

We can only describe the staff as family. They treat their residents like family, they show everyone respect and care. Every member of the team in Kyle Court goes out of their way for the residents and their families. They made mum's life richer during her time with them and in her last months, they
made sure she was comfortable, pain-free and happy. We cannot speak highly enough of every single staff member. Thank you.

From our first contact with the staff, to the last visit past the death of our father, we were always awed by the professional, caring, efficient and personable staff. Their tolerance in managing our father's transition from living on his own to being at Kyle Court was outstanding.
As we live in Australia,
communications with our father was a challenge, but every time we needed assistance from the staff to locate him, every staff member surpassed the highest level of customer service.

My mother lived at Kyle Court Care Home from November 2021 until her death in March 2023. During that time, she was very well cared for by dedicated and caring staff. She was always very content with her care, meals and activities. Both she and my father were welcomed to Kyle Court. I found this very
reassuring that all of her needs were catered for with respect, dignity and compassion. I am extremely grateful to all of the management, nursing, caring and domestic staff for her care during her stay.

Finding a nursing home to meet the needs of a loved one is a difficult and emotional task. After taking considerable time and effort, Kyle Court was suggested to me by a social worker. After the first visit and meeting with the care home manager, I knew this was the place to cater for all my husband's
ever-growing needs.
Every member of staff is exceptional.

Kyle Court Care Home justly deserves its 5-star excellence review. My sister has been a resident for almost 4 years and I cannot fault the staff for their diligent care of her. Even when I was on holiday and she had taken really unwell I knew she was in the best hands receiving excellent care. She is
treated as a member of their family and I am just so grateful. Taking the decision for a family member (with dementia) to move into a care home is difficult but I have no regrets about my sister living at Kyle Court Care Home.

I was lucky after looking at homes to get a place at Kyle Court for my mum the family were delighted, it's a place where all staff treat the people in their care with love and respect they are a shining example of what a Care Home should be. In her short time with them she was so happy and more interacting
with everyone, she enjoyed the singers who visited, loved to get her hair done and her nails painted, I know she was happy in the last weeks of her life.
Thank you to everyone at Kyle Court you really are a special team who cares for their clients like family.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.574)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.574) out of 10 for Kyle Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 20 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.599 for Kyle Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (168 Excellents x 5) + (52 Goods x 4) + (11 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Poors x 2) + (3 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 237 Ratings = 4.599
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.975 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Kyle Court Care Home is based on 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.975
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 19 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
