Our uncle moved to Kyle Court in September 2021 and passed away in March 2022. During this time he thrived in the caring environment he found there. All of the Kyle team were caring and attentive to his needs and during his stay, he enjoyed the company. He ate well and gained weight which was important
for his well-being. Anytime we visited, and without giving notice, we would find his bedroom spotlessly clean, he was always well-groomed and dressed well. In conversation it was obvious he was happy and settled. As an example of the team going over and above, he recently celebrated his 81st birthday and we arranged to visit. The team has decorated the visitor's room with balloons and banners, had arranged a homemade birthday cake and the team were on hand to sing Happy Birthday and importantly make him feel special. In the final weeks before his death the team were amazing. The carers, senior carers and nurses were outstanding and there for him and us as family. Truly outstanding.

From the moment our mother entered this nursing home until she passed away, she received care of the very highest order. All staff from ancillaries through to nursing and other medical and care staff provided the whole family with professional and caring support of the highest order. Kyle Court is a
wonderful example of end-of-life nursing care of the highest order!

As soon as you enter Kyle Court there is a friendly, caring environment able to be felt - this was visible to me even after frequent window/garden visits! All the staff are genuinely kind, caring, conscientious, and hardworking and I am so glad, relieved, and comforted that my husband is a resident
at Kyle Court. They always seem to have time for him no matter how busy they are and they have got to know him and all his needs so well. Well done everyone at Kyle Court.

As a family, we would like to thank all the staff from admin, carers and nurses for the care dignity and love shown to our mum whilst she was a resident at Kyle Court. And also the support and advice given to the family over the two years.
Making the decision of which home to choose for our mum was
made easier from the very beginning as right from our first meeting, we could feel the warmth and attentiveness from the staff. This continued throughout all stages of her illness ensuring every need was met at all times.
We could not recommend this care home highly enough and we have felt part of the Kyle Court Family and appreciate all they have done for us.

In the short time my mum has been at Kyle Court we as a family are delighted with the care she is receiving. More importantly, my mum is happy, safe and her needs being met.
You have a perception of a home as being a sad, unhappy, dull place. It's most certainly not. My mum is treated with dignity
and respect and we have peace of mind knowing she's safe.

My dad moved to Kyle court just before Christmas 2018/. The move was made so easy. The staff are all excellent. The food great and activities are good. My dad has been able to visit St Mirren and other residents have gone to the cinema. My dad has also been able to feed himself and walk slightly all
thanks to staff. Would recommend Kyle Court for your loved ones.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.515)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.515) out of 10 for Kyle Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 16 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.640 for Kyle Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (143 Excellents x 5) + (32 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) + (3 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 189 Ratings = 4.64
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.875 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Kyle Court Care Home is based on 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.875
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 15 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
