The staff were all very welcoming and professional .. mum settled in well and was very well cared for during her stay.
I am so grateful that Sarah and all the staff took such care of Mum which allowed me to focus elsewhere - thank you
Thank you for taking the time to share this. We're so pleased mum settled in well and that a short respite stay became a comfortable longer one. I'll pass your thanks on to Sarah and the team, who'll be delighted to hear it.
Terry came to the care home with some trepidation because we have always been together for nearly 52 years. He settled in very well for his 2 weeks of respite care. The staff have been very well. He doesn't say much, probably due to his dementia but I know he has enjoyed his stay there. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of our home. Your kind words mean a great deal to our team, who continuously strive to provide the highest quality care for our residents. I will share this across our team.
I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for the phenomenal care you have given my nan over the past week. It has been such an emotional rollercoaster for our family, but knowing she is surrounded by such kindness, dignity and compassion has meant the world to me.
I especially want to mention Jade, and the other young girl who was working on Tuesday evening. In that moment, they completely focused on my nan, making sure she was comfortable and cared for, while also comforting and supporting me when I needed it most. Their kindness and compassion in thr moment will stay with me forever, nothing else matter and nothing was any trouble .
I also want to thank Sarah, Paula and Rachael for being so caring, understanding and reassuring during such a difficult time. Your support truly helped me more than you probably realise you all know how much my nan means too us and we just need want her around for as long as its possible.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of our home. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.
I have passed your kind comments on to Jade, the team, Paula, and Rachael, as well as the wider team it means a great deal to everyone.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if there is anything further we can support you with.
The home is kept very clean, the residents rooms are cleaned every day, toilet and shower areas are clean. Hand gel and paper towels are full.
Beds are always made, and most importantly clean!
Food is very good! Plenty of choices, drinks are available anytime throughout the day.
Activities are ongoing in week, which the residents really enjoy, weekends are quieter.
But Most importantly to us is knowing my mum is in a happy safe environment with people that take pride their care.
At Greenacres kindness is at the heart of everything we do and are so pleased to hear your Mum is happy and settled here. Kind words like these are testament to the hard work of our colleagues so we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
My husband received outstanding care from the wonderful staff during husband stay. I was able to have my much needed break knowing that he was in good hands. I cannot praise the staff highly enough! And the facilities are fabulous - the residents obviously love it there.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Greenacres to anyone who is looking for long or short term care for a loved one. The minute you walk through the door you can feel the care and kindness.
Thankyou Greenacres!

Mum who has been at Greenacres for approaching 4 years had a fall just before Christmas resulting in a stay in hospital over the festivities.Their was consternation amongst the family that Mum's future needs may have been outside the scope of Greenacres. Greenacres could not have dealt with the matter in any better caring and understanding way and we will be eternally grateful to all concerned. Mum continues to prosper under the auspices of the wonderful staff at Greenacres.

I cannot fault the care my 94 year old Mum receives. She recently had a spell in hospital after a fall. When she returned to Greenacres she was not in a good way and indeed we thought she was coming to the end of her life. After 2 weeks back in the home being loved and cared for by the amazing staff she bounced back and is back to her old self again.

Staffing pressures are becoming more noticeable and can often affect how promptly residents' needs are met; however, any personal concerns I have raised have always been listened to and addressed professionally by the management team.

I have only praise for the care my mother receives at Greenacres. The staff are all helpful and extremely caring and treat the residents not only with all the care and dignity that you could hope for but seem to find time in their busy days to chat to them as if they were their own parents. The food is always fabulous and there are always homemade cakes and puddings. My mum appears happy and relaxed and on the odd occasion when she's had a worry they ring me so I can speak to her. Thank you to you all for your continued support.

After looking at 3 care homes, Greenacres was definitely the best. Clean, bright, airy, different sides for how bad people were, different activities, a cinema room, salon, brilliant, although expensive! Mum's opinion is that the staff were good and helpful, but she had to ask for her orange that was taken in specifically for her each day (2weeks respite). Mum wanted to come home early as the food wasn't good. A few of them complained to management after a week that they were mainly getting soup & sandwiches, and the evening meal wasn't good and not much of it/portion size. This let her respite visit down. Management didn't come back on the food.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for the positive comments. I am sorry you experienced some disappointing aspects during the respite stay in relation to the catering in the home and that you say the management did not come back on the food, having this being investigated in...
The staff are on the ball and are very helpful, kind and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. The kitchen provides great food, and can be eaten in the residents own room or in the spacious dining room. So far cannot find fault with Greenacres. We have peace of mind knowing that she is safe and in very capable hands.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a positive review of our home. We are pleased to hear you are happy with the quality of care your mother receives at Greenacres care home and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team. Again, thank you for your positive comments.

My parents have been resident at Greenacres since June 2025. The carers are very kind and helpful, special thanks to one. The management have a very good understanding of all my parents needs, and are always very supportive. Special mentions and thanks for the front of house manager, the unit manager and the duty manager. The home provide many activities for the residents, very well organised by the activities lady. I am very happy with Greenacres and the care my parents are receiving.

As I live a good distance away I am unable to visit my brother regularly. On the occasions I have been able to visit Greenacres I have been most impressed by the excellent standard of care and kindness shown by staff towards him and other residents. Greenacres is well designed with lovely outside spaces to spend time with visitors. The building is modern, bright, safe and welcoming. I have regular telephone contact with staff who we always happy to update me on my brother's situation. When I visit I am relieved and re-assured that he is in the best possible place and beign cared for with dignity. I am grateful for all the care Greenacres offers and congratulate everyone involved for maintaining such high standards.
