My grandad has been well cared for. I was worried at the beginning of his stay when he as falling (never done so at home). I feel his pull up pants should be changed more often during the day. The night shift changed him on every 2-hour check, I feel he is left sometimes a whole morning or afternoon unchanged. On the whole, the staff are amazing and attentive, caring and respectful the treat my mum and me the same.

My mother has been a resident at Greenacres for the last four years and in this time I have seen great improvement in the management of the home itself and the management of the staff. Much more consistency in staffing allowing the staff to become more familiar to the residents - very necessary to the dementia sufferers. All staff good with my mother some excellent going above and beyond their duty.

I am comfortable with Greenacres as a place for my mum to live and believe it compares favourably with other homes in the area. Staff are competent and approachable, cleanliness and the general atmosphere of the place is good.

Brilliant!

Mum's quality of life has gone up no end since arriving at Greenacres. She feels safe and happy here, which is a huge relief, both for her and the family.

My mother in law has been a resident for around 12 months, she has settled in well, although she is not a socialising person, she prefers to be alone and stays in her room most of the time. The only thing that I find is that there appears to be a shortage of staff lots of times on my visits, otherwise all is OK.

I am very disappointed with the management of Greenacres so couldn't recommend it to anyone. I feel we have been badly let down.

Greenacres provided the most outstanding, loving care for my mother-in-law in the nine days before she sadly died. The staff were always there when they were needed and were always looking to see if they could help. The care was second to none.

My Mum was at Greenacres for approximately 10 months until, sadly, she passed away January 2018. The care staff were outstanding, they couldn't do enough for my Mum whilst she was living there and up to the last few days of her life. Absolutely brilliant. We then got a place for our Step-father in February 2018. We wouldn't think of putting him in any other residential home. Good food, great staff and exceptionally helpful.

My uncle has been well cared for during his 2-year stay at Greenacres and would certainly recommend the home to my family looking for residential or respite.

Unfortunately, he passed away in March with dignity with the wonderful care from all staff. Thank you.

If I had to mention a slight negative, It would be more regular activities for residents but understand that staff are always busy.

Very welcoming place. All residents cared for with utmost respect by caring staff. Food all cooked on premises and appetising. As I write we are being entertained by a very good singer for the homes open day that's open to everyone. I recommend this home from home to anyone.

My uncle was here for two years and in that time we found the standard of accommodation, food, etc excellent but above all the standard of care and attention to the resident's needs was very, very good.
My uncle passed away in February this year but myself and family still visit frequently to see other residents who we got to know and nurses too.

Very pleasant atmosphere to be in. The regular activities and parties we attended, together with sing songs and choir visits etc, were particularly nice occasions too.

Dad only reluctantly accepted the need to move into a care home from the house he'd lived in for the last 60 years, however, the warm welcome from staff, the facilities at Greenacres and the general atmosphere helped him to settle in quickly. Two months in he is happy and making new friends. He enjoys the food and joins in some of the activities.

The care home's staff are welcoming to visitors as soon as you walk in the door, and they do as much as possible to make sure each visit is as if it were at Grandma's own home.
Tea and coffee are always available, we can bring sandwiches in and even our family dog.

Grandma's room is always clean and tidy, the menus have a good variety and Grandma always enjoys her meals, and there is always someone around to help if needed.
