Food is plentiful if you choose to eat well and if its not to your liking the kitchen will always accommodate special requests.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you and your mother-in-law's family always receive a warm welcome from our team. It's also wonderful to know that you've been pleased with the food and that our kitchen staff have been able to accommodate individual...
My husband has now been a resident for nearly 6 months. The care and attention he has received has been exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble, no matter how busy the staff are. They are without exception kind, thoughtful and hard working. They have become great friends and very much part of the family. Overall exceptional care. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words and very considered feedback with regards to your husband's time at Cliveden Manor, we really do appreciate this and will certainly share this with all the staff here. It is a delight to welcome not only your husband but also you and family who we meet regularly and hope very much that they all have a very positive experience too.
The newly refurbished room has everything she needs and is beautifully decorated and we have been able to include as many personal possessions as mum wanted and it feels like her own home.
The staff are friendly and caring and the atmosphere in the home is relaxed and warm.
The facilities are great with lots of activities which we hope mum will engage with in time and the food is excellent.
We know mum will be well looked after and safe.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly understand how difficult the decision can be to move a loved one into a care home, and we are deeply touched that you felt supported from the very first contact.
It is wonderful to hear that Louise and...
I had six weeks convalescence at Cliveden Manor following a lengthy stay in hospital. On the first day everyone knew my name and I felt very welcome. Throughout my stay everyone was very kind and friendly. I was able to change rooms to make it easier for me to walk to the dining room. The food was always very good and help was always at hand to assist me. I needed physiothereapy and this was immediately available and really helped with my recovery. Although I was pleased to return home, I was very sad to leave but still feel part of the family with monthly visits.
We are delighted that our team was able to make your stay comfortable and accommodating,...
Make visually impaired residents aware at the beginning of the day, about the range of things/activities available in the day.
Improvements could be made catering for those with poor or no visual abilities. Most activities could not be undertaken by visually impaired residents.
Food - The actual served food fell short of the menu description! A bit 'over-sold'.
Thank you very much indeed for your review to us here at Cliveden Manor. I am delighted that you and your relative had a very positive experience and a warm welcome from all the team which was felt throughout the two week respite stay. Our Well Being Team do offer an extensive choice of activities...
This place is like a breath from heaven. Having spent years dealing with my dad's health and having to resort to a care home, who could ask for more. Having doubted ourselves as to whether we can cope, I tried so hard to find the right place. Cliveden Manor is beyond my wildest dreams. Try as I might, I can't find anything that is not utterly perfect. We are so happy and relieved. Everyone is wonderful. Thank you so, so much. We have been saved.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a beautiful message. We are truly touched by your words.
We know how difficult and emotional this journey can be, especially after years of caring for a loved one and making such a significant decision. To hear that you feel relieved,...
The food is excellent, freshly prepared by a skilled kitchen team, and my father often comments on the quality. Staff throughout the home are warm, professional and genuinely caring, and the communication with families is always helpful and reassuring.
Cliveden Manor has given my father comfort, purpose and security, and I am very grateful for the care he receives. I would highly recommend the home.
It means a great deal to our whole team to know that our activities programme,...
Customer liaison has been excellent throughout what was a potentially difficult move from Devon to Marlow - going above and beyond in managing to arrange a face to face pre-assessment.
Relieved and delighted all has gone so smoothly - a huge "thank you" to all involved.
Thank you so much for your very considered response to our request for a review. It was an absolute pleasure working with you over a short period of time to achieve this very positive and happy outcome. Your mother moved into Cliveden Manor last month and has settled into Willows our Dementia...
Now as a family we are happy that they are safe and very well cared for and whenever we need support you help us through. Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words. It has been our pleasure to support your uncle and aunt, and were glad to know theyre feeling safe and well cared for. We understand how challenging the journey can be before arriving at a care home, and were grateful to have been able to help your family...
Our mum has been at Cliveden Manor for nearly six and a half years. Our mum is up on the Willows the Dementia suite. During this time our mum has been looked after with love and care. All members of staff are Caring and Supportive for mums needs especially the Willows staff. Many great Activities for all residents. Mum enjoys the singing the best. Also the food is very well presented and always great choices. Laundry and housekeeping team are always great.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience of your mum's time at Cliveden Manor. It means a great deal to us to know that she has felt loved and well cared for over the past six and a half years. Were especially proud of our team on the Willows Suite, and it's heartening...
Very impressed when we first visited, atmosphere is lovely & staff were great. Dad said to me recently how well he is looked after and when I visit I totally agree.
Thank you for your review and feedback regarding your father who came to live with us here at Cliveden Manor last year. He is a delightful resident, very happy indeed, always has a smile on his face and I am glad that he is enjoying his time in our home.
My mother has made good progress since arriving from hospital. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. All staff are exceptionally nice, caring and supportive. The challenge seems to be response time to requesting support. Sometimes my mother can wait up to an hour for someone to attend to her call. Staff seem to be very busy and consideration should be given to the ratio of carers to residents.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're so pleased to hear that your mother has made good progress since arriving and that you've found the rooms comfortable and our team caring and supportive. It's always encouraging to hear such positive comments about the environment and the...
Dad spent 5 very happy months here. He thrived on the easy and relaxed atmosphere and social interaction, and loved all the staff (clearly had his favourites, though!). The facilities are superb - it's great to be able to enjoy a coffee together in the cafe, or a meal in the restaurant. The whole team were easy to interact with throughout - thoughtful, caring and patient, even through difficult times. It comforted the family greatly to know that Dad was so comfortable and happy here.
Thank you for your very kind and considered review, it is very much appreciated and will be shared with all the staff here at Cliveden Manor. It was such a pleasure to have your father here as a resident and we know that he considered it his home albeit for a short period, he is missed by all the staff, such a lovely gentleman.
The Client Liaison Manager is a star!
Thank you so much for the 5 stars! We're thrilled to hear your uncle received a great reception. Our Client Liaison Manager will be delighted to hear your kind words - she's truly a star! We appreciate your support.
My mother's care at Cliveden Manor Care Home has been excellent throughout, for which her recovery benefited greatly. Everyone involved in her stay- from carers through to management - made her feel welcome and truly cared for. The setting was beautiful, and my mother enjoyed taking in the scenery as part of her daily routine.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to us here at Cliveden Manor, it is very much appreciated by all the staff. I am really pleased that your mother enjoyed her stay with us, she was a delight to have here as a resident and of course she is very welcome to return if the occasion arises. I am...
I moved here in February 2024 and it feels like my home. It is very friendly, the staff are very caring and appreciateive of what I can do. All the staff are always there if I need help, and they help me preserve my independance. I enjoy and benefit from the social rooms here, the restaurant, and the games. I have made new friends and acquaintences which makes getting older easier.
Since my mother moved here she is healthier and happier than ever before. It is a relief to me to know that my mother is being well looked after and that she is encouraged to be independent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciate all the activities that are planned (everyday!). My mother has more friends and variety in her life now than ever before. Also it is very clean here. I cannot recommend this home enough!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Were absolutely thrilled to hear that your mother is thriving here and that you feel at ease knowing shes in good hands. Our team works hard to create a supportive, engaging, and clean environment, so it means a lot to hear that reflected in your experience....
The administrative staff were very friendly and obliging which made everything easier for us as a family.
The atmosphere was relaxed and grandchildren and greatgrandchildren were able to visit.
Despite lack of mobility hairdressing and mancure/pedicure were provided.
Parking and visiting presented no problems and we could always get a coffee.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We're so pleased to hear that your mother was treated with the care, kindness, and dignity she deserves during her stay at Cliveden Manor. It's wonderful to know that our team, from administration to care staff, made a positive impact...

Meet the Team (10)

I was born in Sunderland; however, my family emigrated to South Africa when I was a child, but I never forgot my roots and always knew I would return one day. I just didn’t know it would take me so long.
I completed my schooling and I enrolled on nursing. I qualified as a general Nurse, working a lot in the elderly people’s wards. After a few years, I transferred to paediatrics and ultimately settled in the Critical care units.
In 1990, I continued my training by specialising in Medical and Surgical Critical care with a speciality in Cardio-thoracic nursing. During my nursing career, I worked my way up from a Staff Nurse to a Deputy Nursing Manager of a 240-bed private hospital.
I returned to England in August 2018 and obtained my NMC pin by starting as a pre-registered nurse, completing the required English test, Nursing test and OSCE. I was lucky to be working within the Adult Social Care environment and was supported and mentored by my colleagues, and obtained my PIN in November 2018.Following my successful enrolment with the NMC, I quickly worked my way up to becoming a Clinical Deputy Manager at a Care Home in London.
In 2022, I was chosen to be a Digital Champion for NCL. This role has allowed me to become involved in all the digital aspects of ASC and allowed me to share knowledge within our settings and obtain funding for the home to move from paper-based documents to digital technology.
On my days off, I love spending time with my children and grandchildren, reading a good book or just taking walks.
I am very committed to ensuring that our residents are at the centre of all that we do and are treated with care, dignity, and respect. I am always willing to listen to their concerns or just have a friendly chat.
I joined Cliveden Manor in March 2024 as a Clinical Deputy Manager. I completed my Level 5 Leadership and Management Programme in early 2025, and I was promoted from Clinical Deputy Manager to Clinical Home Manager in September 2025.

Nickisha joined Cliveden Manor Care Home as a nurse in March 2023 and she was promoted to Nursing Care Manager in January 2024 and later promoted to Clinical Deputy Manager in September 2025.

I joined Avery Health Care in 2020. Initially, I worked in Ascot Grange Home and I transferred to Cliveden Manor in August 2023.
I have been in sales for most of my career.
I worked with those who were requiring support in the property market and wishing to downsize which comes with personal involvement.
Having had to research a care home for my mother-in-law, I realised that the role of Customer Liaison Manager was one that I wished to pursue.I thoroughly enjoy working in this environment, helping to support those looking for care or a lifestyle change for their family, it is rewarding to get to know the residents in such lovely surroundings and with the dedicated staff.

I started my career as an administrator in a primary school in 2013, I moved to the care industry in 2018 and haven’t looked back since. Every day is different and I love the challenge it brings! Avery is a wonderful company to work for and I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to grow. Our values and ethos make the workplace a happy and thriving environment, which is something I hope to contribute to when recruiting for the home. In my role, I support Cliveden with finding the best team and making sure all our staff are happy and feel valued no matter what job they do. I hope the team feel they can approach me for anything, and my door is always open, even if I don’t know the answer to the question – I’ll always give it a go!

I joined Cliveden Manor as a Dementia Care Manager in September 2023.
I previously worked as the Registered Manager at a Residential Home in Oxfordshire.
I worked there for 10 years, working my way up from care assistant through various roles and I was in the role of manager for over 4 years.
I have worked in the elderly care sector since 2011 and I knew straight away that it was a career that I wanted to follow.
I particularly have a passion for working with those living with dementia and doing all I can to enrich their lives. My mother-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2009 and sadly passed away 6 years later. Helping to care for her made me realise that it was something that I wanted to do.
Cliveden Manor is a lovely home with a great reputation and I enjoy supporting my residents, family members and team members.

I joined Cliveden Manor in August 2017.
I started as a care supervisor and I worked my way up to Residential Care Manager in August 2023. I manage the Assisted Living Department at Cliveden Manor, and I support our General Manager and Deputy Manager with the management of the home.
I am driven by ensuring all our residents receive exceptional person-centred care, as the residents are my priority. As the Residential Care Manager, I work alongside a fantastic and committed team of carers who are equally passionate about the care we provide.

I have worked in the Hospitality Industry since 1979 within many different restaurant environments, delivering high standards of service. Cliveden Manor was my first experience in the care industry, I started here in 2018 and I haven’t looked back since! I find my role very enjoyable and rewarding. I like to meet different residents and listen to their comments and I endeavour to make sure myself and the team live up to their high expectations.

Having previously been accustomed to roles in the customer service and retail industry I joined the Signature family in Sept 2019. My knowledge and experience of community, charity and social events have been paramount to my objectives and ideas for our residents. I began my signature career as an Activities Assistant, achieving a Level 2 qualification in the principles of dementia care. I have now taken the role of Activities Supervisor supporting the activities team and working hard to introduce a wide range of fun activities and events to enhance the mental and physical well-being of the residents of Cliveden Manor. I am privileged to be part of an amazing team and to be able to work together to cultivate a stimulating and varied lifestyle for our residents.

I have been working as a Head Housekeeper since 2013, I previously worked for a privately owned conference centre and a 72-bedroom care home.
I joined Signature because it has a reputation for excellence, and I want to ensure Cliveden Manor lives up to this.

I started as a Food & Beverage Assistant in 2015 and worked my way up to Restaurant Supervisor. Since then, I have been able to work with some amazing people, I’ve learnt so many new things and have created a lot of wonderful memories! My passion is ensuring the resident's needs are catered to and that they have a wonderful dining experience.
I see Cliveden Manor as a second home and feel very lucky to be amongst such a wonderful team.
