The one-bedroom suites are more like private apartments than traditional care rooms. Each offers a separate bedroom, lounge and kitchenette, alongside a full en-suite wet room. These spacious apartments are double the size of those found in many care homes and are ideal for those who value extra space or for couples who wish to remain together. Studio apartments are also available for those who prefer something a little more compact.

My mother was here for respite whilst I was away. I had complete peace of mind knowing she was safe and well cared for.
Although she really wanted to stay at home, that was not possible.

Bentley House is a noticeably friendly place. All the staff are cheerful, despite doing an often stressful job and always remember your name. From my initial contact up to and including my welcome into the home, I was impressed by the kind and efficient attention I was given.
The décor, with various
themes, is well chosen and the facilities are first class. The food is well-cooked, with a carefully prepared and varied menu. All in all, I have nothing but praise for this establishment.

Lovely light building, everybody very friendly and extremely helpful. I was only there for 15 nights. It took me a week to remember where everything was.

Signature's slogan "The new benchmark in care" is most appropriate.
In all my researches, centred on the Peterborough/Cambridge area, I have not found any care home which provides such standards of care and facilities.

A most pleasant experience. All the staff greeted me by my name, with a smile and no request was ignored. I was there for respite after an operation and was reasonably self-sufficient. I was truly amazed at the patience and care are given to the disabled residents in wheelchairs by all the staff. Activities
varied and interesting. Keep fit-fun, cinema and a luxurious nightly change of films. Great!

All aspects of this home are very good. The staff in the dementia unit especially are very caring and pleasant. I am kept informed about my mothers care at all times. Very good liaison with local GP all in all very satisfied.

My mum has been at Bentley House for 3 years. She is much happier than living alone. The staff are all lovely, my mum is well cared for and seems much healthier than she was.
Only concern is that as more residents arrive the staff seem to be extra busy and have less time to chat with residents.

Both my parents are cared for in an extremely kind and dignified manner, for which the family are extremely grateful. There is good communication between carers and relatives which makes life so much easier and puts your mind at ease.

I was here for two weeks and was very pleased with my stay.
I found everyone very friendly and kind, never a cross word. Always there to help and always call into seeing that you were alright day and night. I felt very well looked after thank you for your kindness.

Our Mum is extremely happy and settled in Bentley House.
All the carers are very good at their jobs and go over and above to help my Mum.
The activities are always well organised and different each week and the team always encourage my Mum to join in.
We have no complaints at all and are pleased

3rd time of staying there. Room heating? Staff excellent. A big thank you to all the staff and many more I may not have met. All did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible, so thank you. Room heating was grim. Radio reception in the room awful.

My mother has been in the home for 5 weeks but so far, I am very pleased. My mother is impressed with the restaurant and the quality of food.
She has a problem hearing so is shy of activities and joining in, hopefully, she will overcome this but is settling in well. Expensive!

Generally, my experience as a resident from April 2017, has been very positive. My apartment with my own furniture is home like and public areas are well decorated and well kept.
The staff both care staff and restaurant staff are kind, cheerful and unfailingly positive even in the most difficult circumstances!!
The cooking of food, on the whole, is good with a very reasonable choice so there should be something to suit all tastes.
My one negative concern is the time of meals, I would prefer to eat later both lunch and suppertime. However, I am very conscious that this is a personal choice and most people seem very content with the timings.

Bentley House is an exceptional residential home. It has the feel of a comfortable hotel. The staff are professional, friendly. That applies to all the staff on any level. They are all very caring and respectful to my mothers.


The restaurants are kept beautifully as is all the décor.


All the apartments

have modern ensuite showers and toilets, cleaned daily as are the bedrooms. My mother's laundry is efficient and beautifully returned.

I have had the pleasure of being part of the Bentley House family since 2018, working in a variety of roles across the home. In my current position, I am the first point of contact for families beginning their journey to find the right caring environment for their loved ones.


I truly enjoy welcoming people into Bentley House and showcasing our exceptional facilities, luxurious surroundings and the incredible team who make our home so special. Supporting families at such an important time and helping them feel confident in their decisions is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

I began my career in care at the age of 16, working part-time as a Housekeeper while still at college. Spending time with residents quickly sparked a passion for care, and I soon left college to become a full-time Care Assistant. I spent my first ten years in the sector before taking the opportunity to travel, exploring Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia and South America over 18 months.


On my return, I spent the next 14 years developing my career from Senior Care Assistant to Assisted Living Coordinator, then Regional Care Coordinator, supporting homes across the business before stepping into a General Manager role. I later joined Signature Senior Lifestyle, first as General Manager at Elton House and then transferring to Bentley House.


With 30 years in the care industry, I feel just as passionate about supporting residents today as I did when I was 16. Providing exceptional care, leadership, and a true sense of home for our residents continues to be a privilege and a joy.

I have worked in health and social care for more than 20 years and have progressed through different roles throughout my career. I have completed Level 5 in Health and Social Care in Leadership and Management. Currently, I am working towards CIPD Level 5 in People Management. I have a background as a qualified nurse and midwife. I have experience working with different client groups, such as dementia, learning disabilities, assisted living, nursing and residential care. I am a very hardworking and passionate person. As the Residential Manager, I believe that it is important to be approachable and willing to help others.
