Signature at Bentley House

Mum has been at Bentley House since August last year and we are really happy with the exceptionally good care she has been getting. We feel that every member of staff at the home goes out of their way to make Mum feel comfortable, happy and really cared for. During these weeks of lockdown, we feel that Mum is in the safest of hands and that everyone is doing their best to keep up high standards of care, support and safety as well as keeping morale high during this most difficult of times. We could not have made a better choice of Care home for our Mum, everyone that works at Bentley House is worth their weight in gold, they are all amazing. We are very grateful and thankful to each and every one of the members of staff, they are simply the best.

The staff are very caring and thoughtful and treat mum with respect. During the lockdown, we have received video calls and photos of mum and she is always smiling which has been lovely to see. We know she is well cared for and in safe hands which is very reassuring.

During the Covid-19 pandemic family members have been kept well-informed about the policies adopted by Bentley House and the safety and well-being of the residents have been at the heart of all such policies. I have particularly welcomed the newsletter updates and also the opportunities to videocall with my Mother during this time. She has remained positive throughout this challenging time and has been very well supported. Well done to the team and thank you all so very much.

We, the resident's children and grandchildren cannot thank and praise the staff enough for looking after her so well, especially during the Covid lockdown, but before that just as much. Thank you and we wish you all good health in these worrying times.

This was my first experience if a winter break in a care home and the result was just what I expected. The place was very clean, and activities were available in the morning and at afternoon periods. The staff soon knew you by your Christian name and were always very polite and helpful. In fact, the staff could not be more concerned about your health and well-being during ones stay. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends. Thank you.

Mum's been here for a few months now, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention she receives from the care staff, entertainments and staffing at meals. Speaking of meals, they are like going to a top restaurant. Mum has improved a lot since being here and that's all due to everyone that works here. A very big thank you.

My friend is respected and looked after as she should be. The nicest, kindest most loving lady I know. All staff are very helpful. You can't ask for more. Thank you for making my friend feel at home and to feel secure.

Since our dad has come to Bentley House in respite care we have been amazed at his progress. Everyone is so careing and kind, so much so we are now to arrange for him to stay here.

Any concerns are dealt with professionally and with great reassurance. Highly recommended.

My mum was extremely ill several months ago, so I decided to move her closer to me, which meant moving her from her house in London to Bentley Care Home. This was a huge change for my mum, but with the level of care from all of the staff has been outstanding, not only to my mum but to myself also. My mum always said, that if I ever moved her to a care home, she would disown me. Well, this is no ordinary home more like a luxurious hotel, and to be very honest, I would happily live there myself. Bentley House is decorated and furnished to the highest standard, the food is delicious, and the staff always go above and beyond to assist our needs. Since my mum has moved here, she is now so much better within herself, both mentally and physically. We are now able to enjoy quality time together and recently went on holiday overseas. Something we would not have been able to do a few months ago, and for that, I will forever be grateful to Bentley House, for their constant care.

My father has been residing in Bently House for the last two years in which time he has received first-class care on all levels, treated with dignity and respect at all times. Where do I begin with the wonderful staff, there are not enough words of thanks I could give to each and every one of them, for the kindness yet totally professional service they have given to us. Although my father did not take part in activities, there seem to be things to do most of the day. The food in the restaurant is excellent, and again the staff are most helpful in assisting where needed. Rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable as is the whole building it's a wonderful environment to go and visit your loved ones. I was fearful of putting my dad into a care home after him being so independent, but have no regrets as these last two years have been wonderful for him. He has loved being at Bently House and having the company - as he says of the lovely staff that have loved him as a friend, not just a resident.

My mum had a very pleasant experience at Bentley. Staff were attentive and professional towards my mum. The building is very welcoming and I will be using Bentley House again in the future. I know that my mum is well cared for and safe within Bentley House which is a great comfort to me

The décor, with various themes, is well chosen and the facilities are first class. The food is well-cooked, with a carefully prepared and varied menu. All in all, I have nothing but praise for this establishment.

Lovely light building, everybody very friendly and extremely helpful. I was only there for 15 nights. It took me a week to remember where everything was.

Well done Bentley House.

A most pleasant experience. All the staff greeted me by my name, with a smile and no request was ignored. I was there for respite after an operation and was reasonably self-sufficient. I was truly amazed at the patience and care are given to the disabled residents in wheelchairs by all the staff. Activities varied and interesting. Keep fit-fun, cinema and a luxurious nightly change of films. Great!
