I found all staff very helpful and caring at all times. Meals were very good and served well. Plenty of activities. I had no hot water for the bathroom sink, which they tried to fix. Shower was on. They even boiled kettles

Rosebery Manor is a large building with a large interesting garden all well maintained. There is a varied selection of rooms and suites. The full-time staff are excellent, polite and attentive, but agency staff are varied. Rosebery Manor provides excellent laundry service and very good housekeeping.
The meals are varied and interesting but sometimes fail to compare to commercial ready-meals. Activities are many and varied, plus occasional outings.

Rosebery Manor has been outstanding in their care and attention for my mother. The team on the Oaks floor are very supportive and helpful. The carers are so kind and thoughtful to us, as well as my mother. We know that she is always safe and well looked after.

It will be a year next month when the lady I used to look after in her own home moved into Rosebery Manor.
It was the first care home I looked at, and very early on in the initial visit, I knew this was the one.
The client liaison manager could not have been more helpful with the transition. All
the staff are courteous and friendly.
The carers are lovely amazing people, very kind and compassionate and can see with their dedication and support, make living there a pleasure.

At the beginning of January, my husband suffered severe heart failure. I dialled 999 and was instructed how to resuscitate him until paramedics arrived. After his discharge from the hospital, we agreed to have respite care until a stair lift was installed. We moved into Signature Rosebery Manor Care
Home on 9th February, and when my husband fell and needed help, it came immediately. The right medication was given, and he was monitored regularly until he recovered. He has also received good care for other problems he had. Although my husband was very anxious to return home, it became obvious we could no longer live independently, so it was decided he would stay here.
The medical care we receive is excellent, and the kindness, care and attention we get from every member of staff cannot be faulted, nor can the entertainment and activities on offer. Rosebery Manor is a well-designed and well-maintained care home and a very welcoming and comfortable place to live. Most importantly, I no longer live with the fear of being unable to cope with any emergency. Help is a push button away, and I am extremely grateful.

My friend lived at Rosebery Manor for just over three years. From the day I met one particular member of staff, she made all the difficult decisions easier for me, from the choice of accommodation to transfer into the home and everything in between. All of the staff have been superb, professional,
diligent and caring right up until the day my friend passed away. I am so pleased I chose Rosebery Manor.

My father, a fit and able man of ninety-two years became a resident on my advice following two falls resulting in hospitalisation. Both my partner and I were very impressed with the standard of care offered at every level. As my father has said, just like a cruise ship - nice food, good cabin, and good
public areas. Sadly, my father has since passed, but the family are grateful for all your hard work.

Having seen friends and neighbours at Rosebery Manor over the last few years, we have of late been visiting a dear family member. The client liaison manager could not have done more to arrange his move there as it was his wish to be at Rosebery Manor as his health deteriorated rapidly. She put the family
at ease and was most helpful and professional in answering any concerns. She quickly made the transition of moving in as easy and comfortable as possible. Although our relative has now passed away, we appreciate that he was being looked after by qualified and caring staff in beautiful surroundings, and as family, we were treated sympathetically. We would have no hesitation in recommending Rosebery Manor to anyone. Visitors are made welcome and greeted warmly by all the staff and leave knowing that the resident is being looked after with the utmost care.

Very pleasant welcome. Contact with fellow residents much better as the "shut down" draws to a close. Activities are increasing in variety, and entertainment planned outings have resumed - within national conditions. Garden very interesting, and ideas take up. Meals and catering are thoughtfully planned,
with special diets included. Visitors remain in limitation and appropriate testing (Covid).

Age 85, I suffered a serious fall at home that needed treatment at St George's, Kingston and West Molesey hospitals between August and October 2021. Previously very active, I suffered a complete reversal from anything close to normal life. My devoted wife in her early eighties wisely decided she was
no match for the physical demands of nursing her 6 foot, 12 stone husband who needed to recover from a shattered pelvis and fractured femur (not to mention Covid and neurological impairment) and booked me in for six weeks convalescence at Roseberry Manor. There is considerable family support, nevertheless, everyone concerned with my well-being agrees that Roseberry Manor proved a most fortunate choice. With the support of the teams of full-time carers, I quite quickly showed many improvements both in his physical abilities and his mental approach until it was clear that I could realistically contemplate life together again with my wife.

I was delighted with the professional and kind way the whole process of moving my lovely 96-year-old neighbour to Rosebery Manor. All the staff involved from three particular members, who started the transition to one gentleman, who has made her apartment look most homely. She has adapted so well to
her big move and is flourishing. She has had a wonderful birthday celebration earlier this month and was made to feel very special... enough to bring her to heartfelt tears. Thank you so much.
Facilities are amazing with a variety of entertainment and activities to keep the residents busy. She has made use of the massage treatment, podiatry and exercise classes!
A great decision to make this move and feel that she is in safe hands, which is all you can ask.
If she is happy, then so am I.

Our experience of Rosebery Manor thus far has been outstanding. The facility itself is more like a hotel - in the best possible way - and it is a genuine pleasure to spend time there. The residences are large, light and spacious and feel more like an apartment than a single room.
The communication
has been great too, and the family liaison manager, in particular, has gone above and beyond to help us transition Dad and get everything set up.
It is still early days, but the care so far has been first class, and Dad is happier here than anywhere else he has stayed. He says it is as close to the experience of living at home as he could imagine. Moving Dad into Rosebery Manor has been the very best decision we've made as a family for his ongoing care and support.

I was admitted to Rosebery Manor for two months of respite care after a stay in hospital in June 2021. Unfortunately, at first, I had to go into isolation for five days. I was a lot younger than most of the residents, but soon settled down and got to love the home, which is more like a hotel, and also
the residents. The staff are amazing; nothing is too much trouble for them. A special mention to the head male nurse and the carers and supervisors on the 1st floor. All the staff were so fantastic, also one gentleman in the restaurant (don’t lose him, he is a gem). The food is amazing, and also the brilliant activities team. I was not happy going in there, but I absolutely loved it and was very sad leaving.

It’s a great home, very well run with so much care. Don’t hesitate about admitting your loved one here, they will love it and be very well taken care of. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. The home and grounds are beautiful. Go and have a look around the home; you will love it.

Rosebery Manor is an excellent building with good decor and furnishings. However, their air conditions on the 1st and 2nd floor are often poor in the summer. The caring and supportive staff are excellent, courteous and respectful. However, the call system is not always as fast as required. The nursing
support is professional 24-hours a day.

It is a very hard decision moving a parent into a care home, however, we could not have made a better one. Dad moved into Rosebery a few months ago, and he settled in very quickly. He is a very sociable person, independent living just got too much for him as he has a severe sight impairment. We knew
he would enjoy lots of company.
The accommodation choices are excellent, and the gardens are very well maintained.
Staff are fantastic, very caring, and everyone is always made to feel very welcome. A great relationship between Rosebery Manor and the local GP surgery, which we feel is very important. Excellent entertainment and activities every day; Dad is very happy and stimulated. It is great to see him enjoying life. There is always a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend Rosebery Manor.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.890)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.890) out of 10 for Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery Collection is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 30 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 30 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.890 for Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery Collection is calculated as follows: ( (319 Excellents x 5) + (33 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 355 Ratings = 4.89
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery Collection is based on 30 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 95 registered maximum number of service users is 19, which has been reached with 30 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Hospitality Manager Joined: 2022

My journey started here in December 2022 as an Activities Assistant and loved it from day 1!
Getting to know the residents and their likes and interests as well as dislikes helps build positive
relationships that enables us to support them to live as independently as possible and ensure their well-being is priority.
I have a great team who all put the resident’s well-being first and their support and teamwork is exceptional.
I look forward to continuing my journey at Rosebery Manor.
