My husband has been here 6 weeks now. I am very impressed with the care he has received. There is a genuine effort to make his stay as safe and enjoyable as possible. Different beds have been tried for his comfort. He has had fewer, by far, falls than in a previous care home. The staff all know him
and joke with him. All are extremely kind.

Mum moved to Wiltshire Heights Care Home just over a year ago. She has settled in well and now considers it her home. She has been able to make her room her own and enjoys being able to tend the garden outside her room. She is always telling us how kind the staff are and how she appreciates that there
is always someone there. She enjoys the various activities available to her and particularly enjoys the trips out. Her friends and family are made very welcome when they visit. As her daughter, it gives me great peace of mind to know she is well cared for.

The thing that really stood out for me when my Mum moved into Wiltshire Heights was just how very lovely the staff are - all of them; the reception team, the manager, the Client Services Manager, Home Manager all the catering team and every member of the care team from the youngest and newest to the
most experienced. It was so hard leaving Mum - we live the other side of the country and are about to be out of the country for a family wedding so it was a leap of faith that she would be so well cared for but she has only found kindness amongst the staff. The food is great too - and Mum is already saying that she is going to put on pounds (which she could certainly do with doing!)
The only thing it isn't - is her own home - which she still misses very much - but they are doing all they can to make it a happy and safe environment for her and feel as near as they possibly can to home for her (which we appreciate very much), and it is very early days (less than a week!)
Reply from Charlie Osgood, Home Manager at Wiltshire Heights Care HomeThank you for your kind feedback. I am glad to hear your mum is starting to find her feet at Wiltshire Heights.

I have been visiting Wiltshire Heights for a year now. I always find the staff super helpful, friendly and acknowledgeable from reception to cleaners. The couple I visit here are very well cared for as it seems are all the residents. There are lots of communal areas, including gardens that encourage
a community atmosphere. Coffee, tea cakes also add to the welcoming ambience.

Mum has been staying at Wiltshire Heights since the end of July and initially she was very unhappy to leave her home. Sadly we lost Dad at the same time so she had a lot of difficult changes all at once. It has taken a little while, but she is now much more settled and happy in her new environment and
constantly says how lovely the staff are.

My parents have been at Wiltshire Heights since the beginning of the year. They have really benefited from the consistent care provided. The rooms, particularly the communal ones are light, airy and beautifully decorated, with a lovely outlook onto the gardens which have an Italian feel to them. The
garden is easily accessible from the residents rooms; my parents have loved sitting out there this summer. They have just celebrated a big wedding anniversary and were absolutely delighted by the party Wiltshire Heights put on for them. It was very special to share this celebration with some of our family, recent neighbor's and one or two very old family friends with what feel like our new friends at Wiltshire Heights. Thank you.

My brother moved into Wiltshire Heights about 6 months ago, as he was no longer able to care for himself. We were impressed by the care and attention provided by all the staff to make him feel welcome and settled. Indeed, the same warm support provided by the whole team at Wiltshire Heights has been
in evidence over the subsequent months. The organisation of day trips out and the occasional garden parties has been beneficial in ensuring that his life is not spent entirely within the four walls of his room. My husband, sister, and I are all delighted and relieved that we have made the right decision!

Great care offered and received by my Godmother. The rooms are large and well equipped. The food is excellent and served to residents in a lovely dining room with napkins and white table cloths and proper cutlery and glasses on the tables. This means the experience is more like a hotel than a Care Home
and that is a very positive thing. Delighted by all that is offered at Wiltshire Heights. Thanks you.

My Great Auntie stayed at Wiltshire Heights in May 2025 for respite. While at the facility, the staff delivered exceptional care, were extremely dignified towards my Auntie and ensured that she was settled in her new, unfamiliar surroundings. She had unlimited tea and snacks, fantastic cooked 3-course
meals, freshly baked cakes and muffins. A lovely private room with ensuite and cleaning washing daily, When it came time for her to leave and go home she didn't want to go, now she visits weekly and is welcomed with open arms by all staff, I would like to mention one lady for her exceptional effort in getting everything sorted in such a quick manner as this respite stay was very last minute, would highly recommend Wiltshire Heights Bradford on Avon.

Since my in-laws moved into Wiltshire heights, I have found that they are being looked after extremely well. Their minds are kept active by the numerous activities available to them. They also take advantage of the trips out in the minibus. The staff are caring for them very well, and are always helpful

All the staff are kind, friendly, very professional. If it is an emotional moment they are great at being there with comfort. As a patient I feel in safe hands twenty four hours a day. Everywhere is always clean and the catering is very good. Any problems and the managers listen and make the problem
go away, could not ask for more. Staff have an excellent sense of humour, so plenty of laughter, which I really enjoy. If anything breaks maintenance sorts it out ASAP. The laundry is always returned ironed like new. If is a good place to be needing help and care if you no longer manage alone.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.905)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.905) out of 10 for Wiltshire Heights Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 45 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 45 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.905 for Wiltshire Heights Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (477 Excellents x 5) + (44 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 524 Ratings = 4.905
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Wiltshire Heights Care Home is based on 45 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 63 registered maximum number of service users is 12.6, which has been reached with 45 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Charlie Osgood

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2023

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.

I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.

In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.

I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.

I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.

I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this fantastic home.

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.

I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.

As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
