an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Atfer 5 weeks in hospital, consultant said best for mum to transfer to care home for pallative EOL treatment Found out about Priors via word of mouth recommendations and CQC rating. Fortunately they had a place for mum as it happened all rather quick from the hospital side. Sarah and all the team
were so professional and empathetic to organising a smooth transition for us all. Mum has comfortably settled in and says she feels safe and is pain-free. Mum had an issue with her mouth in hospital but it has much improved at Priors. It is a huge decision to make on behalf of your parents but both my husband and I said we would be happy if this was our care home. It's all the fabulous individual people and one great team that make priors the success it is.

Mum attended Priors House for two weeks respite care. Although being nervous about her new surroundings and meeting the other residents and members of staff, she soon settled in.
The staff are fabulous and very caring, the care home lovely, that's why we chose it! Mum soon got to know plenty of residents
and there are lots of activities to keep everyone entertained on a daily basis. Relatives and friends are made to feel very welcome and part of the wider Priors House family.
I would thoroughly recommend.

My mother was recently discharged from hospital and there was no way that she could return to her Assisted Living flat . The process of moving Mum to Priors House went smoothly and not only Mum but the family were welcomed warmly by the staff. The staff here are outstanding and clearly take pride in
what they do - it shows!! Sadly mum is declining but there's no other place I'd rather she be than being looked after by this professional and dedicated team.

All of the staff at Priors House are exceptionally warm and caring. I always receive a warm welcome.
Today 21st March was a lovely celebration day. It was well organised and the staff, as always, ensured all of the residents enjoyed the afternoon. Fabulous food too! Nice to meet the new CRM who introduced
herself and asked for feedback.
Of course I have to give a special shout out for the staff on Victoria Wing who care for my Aunty. They are an incredible team of professionals. Thank you for all you do each and every day!

We moved both of my parents in to Priors House in December 2024. Mum needed end-of-life care for her cancer and Dad needed more day-to-day care for his dementia. I just have no words to describe how amazing this care home (and it's staff) are. They rescued us in our hour of need and showed unbelievable
care, professionalism and love from the moment that we walked in the door.

My mother was a resident for just over a year. The care she received during this period was excellent, particularly in her last few weeks. The whole team showed good understanding and empathy as well as working together as a team with utmost team spirit. At all times they made family members most welcome

Having my Father put in two previous Care Homes receiving very poor care. I moved him to Priors House, Leamington, yes a lot of money but the value was extreme. All aspects of care, entertainment, medical care, reception, and office admin were 300%. I could not say enough to praise the carers. One carer
in particular was a diamond and worked well with my Dad who was causing trouble constantly with dementia. Already recommended Priors House to others.

Since my mother moved into Priors House in the summer, we have been very happy with the warm, welcoming environment and high standard of care. We have been particularly struck by the kindness and patience shown by all staff. Everyone with whom we've come into contact has been friendly and helpful, and
we are always greeted at reception by name and with a smile. The rooms could be a little larger, but the ensuite bathrooms are a good size. Everywhere is very clean. There are regular meals and snacks on offer throughout the day, and my mother particularly likes the hot chocolate in the free cafe downstairs. Various activities are available every day, and there is a well-maintained and very pleasant garden. We hope that there will be an opportunity for outings when the weather improves. We have no hesitation in recommending Prior House and are glad that my mother is living in such a safe and supportive home.

Our mum was given a terminal diagnosis and came to spend her last few months at Priors House. We were apprehensive about her going into a home but very quickly knew we had absolutely made the right choice.
Mum was really happy there. She formed good connections with the staff, and they looked after
her well. In Mum's final days, the staff not only cared for her, they looked after us as well. We can not speak highly enough about Priors House. We would recommend them to anyone and feel they totally deserve their “outstanding” CQC achievement.

Job Title: Home Manager

I managed care homes before I joined Care UK and was even an area manager, overseeing a number of homes. I’ve also worked as a ‘turnaround manager’ – helping care homes to gain regulatory compliance – so I’ve lots of experience in care homes.


There’s a lot to do when you’re a home manager, but the best bit is having a coffee with the residents and chatting with them. When I can I also join in with activities because it’s wonderful seeing residents enjoying themselves – after all, that’s why we do what we do. I love seeing happy residents living fulfilling lives in our warm and friendly home.
