My father-in-law was at Anya Court for Respite care during October and November and was invited to attend their Christmas dinner at a venue on 21st December. This he happily attended, we dropped him off at Anya Court in the morning and collected him gone 5 pm. He joined in with the rest of the residents
with the minibus transfer, a three-course meal with drinks and entertainment. He had a wonderful day and we thank them for making him so welcome and giving him a good day out.

My Dad has lived at Anya Court for a few years and during that time has moved to different communities within the home as his needs have changed. The home is bright, modern and beautifully clean and the whole team know and looks after my Dad - reception, housekeeping, lifestyles and carers alike.
My
Dad now lives within the dementia community (Ballard) and I have been impressed with the care provided by this team in so many ways. His personal care is excellent, allowing independence where possible and ensuring dignity is maintained. He is always smartly dressed whenever I visit. The team have taken time to get to know my Dad, to learn about his past and his likes/dislikes. Nothing is too much trouble. I feel confident that he is safe. Risks are assessed and mitigated whilst enabling fun and freedom. Family are welcomed when visiting and encouraged to join various events held throughout the year. Communication from management is excellent and feedback is actioned.

Right from the first point of contact to enquire about costs and facilities Anya Court performed extremely well. All the Anya team were polite, well-informed and swift to respond. Our Mother was only there briefly, not really long enough for her to get to know all the team and experience the facilities,
no doubt she would have appreciated the activities if time had allowed it, however, she received extremely good care in her short time there.
The home is bright, modern, clean with good security and well maintained, with modern beds. The Anya Court team showed a lot of care and compassion to our Mother and made sure we were all looked after in the difficult closing stages of Mum's life. As a token gesture of our appreciation, the family bought some autumn flowers for the gardening club to plant out at their leisure. Would like to pass on our sincere thanks to all the staff at Anya Court.

I flew in from Australia to spend two weeks with my dad. When I was at Anya Court I found the staff extremely helpful and could not do enough for Dad and myself. This included hanging pictures in his room, taking on a game activity I presented to Anya Court and then allowing me to join in the hog roast
which was very enjoyable.

My mother stayed on a respite 14-day period, she was looked after and cared for well and got on with all carers in that respect. After she had worked her way around the complex she became very settled and was content. She enjoyed her stay and we hope to engage in further similar breaks in future. All

Mum was admitted to Anya Court at short notice as part of a respite package on release from hospital. From initial contact to admission and release I could not fault professionalism, compassion, and facilities within Anya Court. The support my mother received was first class and she was sad to leave
at conclusion of a week's stay. She would have stayed longer but chose to move closer to family in the South East. I would commend Anya Court to anyone seeking care for a family member.

Mum always felt safe there and we had the utmost confidence in her care.

My husband has been a Resident at Anya Court care home since December 2021. The manager and the managing assistant made my husband's transfer from a very unsuitable care home he was admitted to by the Hospital discharge team. I am very grateful that he was able to leave and be resident at a very nice
and suitable care home. Anya Court is good in every way, cleanliness exceptional, good food and helpful caring staff. Visiting is made very easy and safe with testing aprons and gloves provided to help control the spread of Covid. I highly recommend Anya Court.

Our servers (Bain Marie) are stainless steel and we appreciate that lifting and closing of the lids can make a noise. We most certainly will look at how we use our equipment and discuss with the team how we can improve the use of the Bain Marie so it does not exceed any reasonable noise level.

From the first meeting, I found Anya Court to be helpful, caring, and understanding to both residents and family. An extremely clean and well-presented home and gardens. Management are always there to talk and to inform you about your relative and to help in any way possible. The head carers are fantastic
and very caring and help to make sure relatives are happy and cared for. Most of the staff are very good. The reception team are fantastic. I rate Anya Court to be a top-rated care home.

My father stayed at Anya Court for two weeks. The care was good for him but he is used to being in his own space. He found the staff friendly and helpful. His washing was done for him. He had broken his wrist and struggled with the single bed. He also found the dining experience not very inclusive.
He was on a table (allocated) on his own.

Job Title: Lifestyles Lead Joined: 2014

I am the Lifestyles Lead at Anya Court. I started my journey as a carer on the day the home opened in 2014, working my way up to the lifestyles lead role.


I love my job organising meaningful, enjoyable, engaging and stimulating activities for the residents.
Also leading an enthusiastic, motivated team to help deliver excellent relationship-centred care.


I am passionate about residents engaging in the lifestyle choices they had before coming into the home and building strong relationships based on trust.


It is important to get to know strengths, passions and to understand each person’s needs and enable them to live the lives they want to and to do the things they want to do.


I truly believe that life does not stop when you move into a care home and anything is possible.


Anya Court is a vibrant, friendly, family feel home with a dedicated team, beautiful interiors and an impressive garden all of which makes me incredibly proud and privileged to work here.
