What a wonderful care home this is. From the moment you go through the front doors, you are greeted with polite friendly staff, a lovely 'homely' feeling, and ALWAYS so beautifully clean and fresh.
Lots of different areas to sit down, relax, spend time with loved ones overlooking the well kept gardens whilst you are visiting.
Beautiful dining areas, with top quality meals.

Theres always a range of activities going on in the home, something to suit everyone if they choose to join in.

My husband went into Cumnor Hill House for a week respite care. He was quite anxious about going into care for a week but the staff at Cumnor Hill House was so welcoming and helpful that he came back home quite happy from the experience. I can't praise their caring and attention to detail highly enough. As you walk in you are welcome with a warm smile and every body is prepared to help if needed. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for looking after him so well.

Since my friend came to Cumnor Hill House she has had excellent care. Post op hip surgery in January, she was welcomed back like an old friend (she first became a resident in August 2025). Special occasions are marked. All carers very friendly. Good nursing care & medical attention. Lovely physiotherapists. Caters to the individual. Excellent food & drink. Careful security system (car parking not adequate).

Came to. a family celebration of my Mother In-Law who had recently reached the grand age of 100. The staff at Cumnor Hill House, in particular Neal the Chef and the lady who served us (I'm sorry I do not remember her name) a wonderful buffet style meal which was very generous and very tasty.

Thank you so much for making our afternoon lunch such a wonderful experience.

We had the fine dining experience to celebrate my Mum's 93rd birthday. The food was superb, the choice of drinks good. The team who served us were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
The arranging was very easy.
The room is very comfortable and the fact we can stay there as long as we want makes it all a very relaxing time.

Thanks again to head chef Neal and all the team, a thoroughly enjoyable time.

My cousin moved to Cumnor Hill House in December 2024 and the staff could not have been better at supporting both her and me during the move. They made sure that she felt welcomed and took extra time to help her understand the routines. She really enjoys the different activities, especially the dementia choir. Whenever I visit, I too am made welcome. We have enjoyed sharing lunch and high tea in the Bistro area which is a lovely place to sit and chat. It is a great relief to me and my brother that she is well cared for, content and enjoying life as much as she can. Thank you all the staff.

The staff at Cumnor Hill House are exemplary. I can't praise their caring, attention to detail highly enough. From the moment we visited to the time my mother spent as a respite resident to try it out, to the time she moved in permanently, they made the process stress free and seamless. Their standards far exceed other care homes. My mother is settled and content which is a huge weight off my mind. With me living abroad, the quick response to emails and keeping me informed of events is vital. I have complete confidence they are taking care of Mum just as I would. Thank you Cumnor Hill House team.

We attended the afternoon tea organised by the staff at Cumnor Hill House for my mother's 92nd birthday. It was beautifully laid out, in the library, with a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes, birthday cake, drinks etc. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. My mother had a wonderful birthday and we all loved sharing it with her.

My mum came to Cumnor Hill via hospice, and we were aware that she was end of life. I have worked in care my self for 33 years, so I was a little anxious, but we were welcomed warmly to a home that was beautiful. She had a very nice room looking onto the garden, which was important due to her being in bed. Every concern we had, met with a warm, friendly, and interested approach. All of the team were approachable when it came time for her end of life care. I could not have asked for better and in all the homes I have worked, this is the only one I would have felt I had any unresolved feelings.

I stayed at Connors Hill House Residential care home for 3 weeks while my wife had an operation and recuperated with my son and his wife. I found the whole experience an entirely happy time with great facilities, friendly attentive, and highly professional staff. My Mother was living at home sleeping 20 hours a day and given days to weeks to live. She was taken off all meds. It was too difficult to look after her at home as she couldn't walk and it took 2 live-in carers to get her into her wheelchair or on the loo.

We moved her to Cumnor Hill. Set on beautiful grounds. It was for end-of-life care. However, a month later my Mum is now awake most of the day, can walk, is in the physio gym cycling from a chair, has made biscuits and her BP is down. The Physio has made her much stronger. She doesn't ask to come home and has made a couple of friends. The turnaround has been miraculous. The stimuli and care have turned her life around.

Yesterday was my friend's 90th birthday held in the fine dining area for 8 people. I want to say that from the first time I met the head chef l to organise the meal to the actual day I received nothing but professionalism. The serving staff were amazing and friendly to make this a special day. I travel and eat out frequently here and abroad and I can honestly say the food and presentation were outstanding. The quality you would expect to receive in any fine-dining restaurant. Thank you so much to the head chef. Regards.
