A welcoming home full of supportive and friendly staff. He seems very comfortable and well looked after.

Mum is a character who does not always agree to do the things that will help her. The care staff in AC have recognised this v. quickly and are extremely patient and caring despite the challenge. Mum says they are caring and kind 'lovely people' Praise indeed! Mum has not been well enough to join the activities but they look good.

Mum is loving getting involved in all the activities. There is always something going on for them.

We have nothing to judge Augustus Court against but all the staff are very friendly and patient with Dad. The food is good. The room is very clean and homely. All in all a good experience.

My mum has been in there two years and is well looked after by the staff. Food is excellent they cater very well for the residents etc. cant recommend the home highly enough.

Great variety of entertainment. Quality food and snacks available throughout the day.

Augustus Court staff are always extra helpful, they genuinely care about their residents and family. Activities are excellent with every attempt made to include everyone no matter what their abilities.

I cannot recommend Augustus Court enough.

Mum's experience is generally good, the staff are very good and helpful, management can let themselves down at times, a lack of procedures is worrying - eg no booking in, booking out of residents for appointments etc. Communication between staff is sometimes worrying with requests, needs or questions not being passed on. Maybe a daily 'huddle' would assist.

I'm happy my mum is safe and well cared for. Carers are all lovely and friendly.

Mum was in Augustus Court from December 2022 until May 2024. My sister and I have nothing but praise for the care given to her. We could visit at any time. Whenever we arrived Mum was showered and beautifully dressed and her room was spotless. She was extremely well fed and she was totally content and well looked after. I remember her singing along when there was a concert downstairs, but the two things that stand out, were when Mum was 90 the home put on a little party for her and all her grandsons came to see her. The chef had put on a buffet and made her a fresh cream and strawberry birthday cake, her favourite. And once when we turned up to see Mum, she was being showered by one of the lovely carers. She didn't know we were there but the door was slightly ajar and she was singing to Mum while she was washing her hair and getting her ready. Thank you to all the staff for the care and love that was given, especially the upstairs staff, who always made us feel welcome.

I feel safe and the home and grounds are lovely. Care is good also food.

Mum has been at Augustus Court for approx 1 year now and the care has been outstanding. Mum is happy here and that is important to us as a family.

Would highly recommend this care home. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Been visiting a relative there for 12 months now, and it really is a home from home.

I came from Ireland to visit my cousin and couldn't have been more impressed by the welcome I received, how beautiful and homely the home is. I have been in quite a few care homes over the years and this one is by far the nicest I've visited someone in. The decor is like a hotel, the staff are very attentive and warm and the residents seem contented and loved. My cousin is certainly very happy here. My cousin's room is spacious and spotless. The communal areas are particularly nice with residents encouraged to sit together and there is a feeling of community. Well done Augustus Care Home!

My mum has been in Augustus Court since August. Her room is lovely with a lovely communal area to sit in as well as a lounge area and dining room and beautiful garden. The staff are fabulous and look after all of us, not just my mum.

I have found the staff to be very friendly and extremely caring towards my mum and us as extended family. Any issues have been swiftly dealt with. My mum's opinions very much dictate what she does and she never seems to have to do what she doesn't want to.
