Augustus Court care home, located in the picturesque village of Garforth, provides residential and residential dementia care designed around the individual needs of each person.

This beautiful home features plenty of areas in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. Many rooms have lovely views of the pretty landscaped garden where residents can enjoy gardening activities year round.

Augustus Court is a very pleasant, comfortable, clean and friendly care home.
The carers are fantastic with the residents and treat them with respect and dignity.
The activities are varied and engaging for the residents.
The food is also of a very high standard.
I cannot recommend Augustus Court
enough.

Mum's experience is generally good, the staff are very good and helpful, management can let themselves down at times, a lack of procedures is worrying - eg no booking in, booking out of residents for appointments etc. Communication between staff is sometimes worrying with requests, needs or questions
not being passed on. Maybe a daily 'huddle' would assist.

Mum was in Augustus Court from December 2022 until May 2024. My sister and I have nothing but praise for the care given to her. We could visit at any time. Whenever we arrived Mum was showered and beautifully dressed and her room was spotless. She was extremely well fed and she was totally content and
well looked after. I remember her singing along when there was a concert downstairs, but the two things that stand out, were when Mum was 90 the home put on a little party for her and all her grandsons came to see her. The chef had put on a buffet and made her a fresh cream and strawberry birthday cake, her favourite. And once when we turned up to see Mum, she was being showered by one of the lovely carers. She didn't know we were there but the door was slightly ajar and she was singing to Mum while she was washing her hair and getting her ready. Thank you to all the staff for the care and love that was given, especially the upstairs staff, who always made us feel welcome.

I came from Ireland to visit my cousin and couldn't have been more impressed by the welcome I received, how beautiful and homely the home is. I have been in quite a few care homes over the years and this one is by far the nicest I've visited someone in. The decor is like a hotel, the staff are very
attentive and warm and the residents seem contented and loved. My cousin is certainly very happy here. My cousin's room is spacious and spotless. The communal areas are particularly nice with residents encouraged to sit together and there is a feeling of community. Well done Augustus Care Home!

My mum has been in Augustus Court since August. Her room is lovely with a lovely communal area to sit in as well as a lounge area and dining room and beautiful garden. The staff are fabulous and look after all of us, not just my mum.

I have found the staff to be very friendly and extremely caring towards my mum and us as extended family. Any issues have been swiftly dealt with. My mum's opinions very much dictate what she does and she never seems to have to do what she doesn't want to.

Staff are extremely accommodating to meet all our needs. Very friendly and well-maintained home. Keen to listen and act on feedback to maintain high standards seen. My Mum has been here now for four years, and we are both really pleased with the standard of care received. The home is very well laid out and presented, and has an elegant look about it. All the staff are very kind and caring, and everyone I have spoken to have been so friendly, helpful, genuinely
interested, and always happy to help with any questions or support needs. I feel comforted Mum is being well looked after and is safe in her surroundings.
