The team is also respected for their compassionate end-of-life care.

The home has its own hair salon, coffee shop and cinema room, as well as a shop selling everyday essentials. There are also themed areas that residents can explore independently and beautiful landscaped gardens.     an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Glastonbury Court has recently re-opened in a new, fresh modern building built with the needs of the residents in mind. With large, spacious communal areas for dining. Activities and daily living. It provides excellent care with dedicated staff from the top downwards. Nothing is too much trouble for
any of the team. Most importantly to me my mum is treated as her own person despite having sever Alzheimer's Disease and unable to live an independent life.

Job Title: Home Manager

When I wanted a fresh challenge, I thought I’d explore working for Care UK as I’d heard only positive things about its care ethos and support for its teams. I’m very pleased I did.


I’m passionate about providing the highest standards of care and working with the team to maintain Glastonbury Court’s ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating. Ours is a lovely home to live and work in and it’s a huge privilege to work here and be leading the team. We are always striving for each resident to have a meaningful lifestyle and to fulfil their dreams.


In this role, it’s important to be open and honest, a good listener and treats everyone equally. I enjoy seeing the residents, the team and residents’ families and having a chat and helping to resolve any worries they have.


In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cycling, travelling abroad and soaking up the sun.
