The home has been designed around the needs of its residents, they can benefit from first class accommodation, with a range of communal areas for socialising and activities. My mother was a resident in your care home from the spring of 2022 until she passed away on 29/12/2023. She suffered from advanced Alzheimers. The care home staff (all staff from nurses, doctors, health care assistants, admin etc.) were extremely kind, sympathetic, empathetic, professional, friendly
and proficient. Their care made us as a family very pleased about the care our mum received. I am a qualified nurse (Director of Nursing). I was extremely happy with the professionalism of the nurses and all the staff.

The staff treat my mother as if she was their own mother/grandmother. They are caring and despite some of her outbursts due to her dementia, they treat her with respect and dignity. She has been there over a year now and despite her rocky start (constantly telling us she wanted to go home - not realising
this was now home) has settled in with the help of the staff. She has her hair done once a week in the in-house hairdressers and the activities coordinator ensures she has her nails filed and painted regularly - all things that she used to do before dementia took hold - this grounds her and is familiar. The staff know all the residents and regular relative visitors by name and we are always welcomed with open arms and offered a cup of tea to take with our loved ones when we visit no matter how busy they are. These little gestures make all the difference. Our family are extremely happy and secure in the knowledge that our mother is well looked after and in the loving, caring place.

Celebrating Philippine Independence Day at Belmont House on Friday 10th June. It was a fantastic afternoon - amazing food and entertainment. The event was well organized, and the staff made guests feel really welcome. My mother enjoyed the day and sang along to a couple of songs. As guests, we really

Had an unusual injury (broken bone in my neck). The staff nurse soon learned to change my collar every other day, the specialist commented favourably on the state of my neck and this was due to the nurse washing and creaming my neck every time.
Very kind staff. Some activities would be welcomed, also

I was admitted to Belmont following a two-week stay in hospital. My initial impression was brilliant with a friendly welcome. Throughout my stay I have not been disappointed in any way. The entire staff have been superb and made my stay enjoyable.

My friend has always lived in her own home, so like many, it was a big change. The staff, however, are fantastic and really get to know the residents, their likes, dislikes and she soon settled in. You get the feeling that with the staff it is not just a job, they really care and want to help the residents
feel at home. They are so attentive and caring. They also appear to work as a good team, which makes for a great atmosphere. The home, rooms, gardens are great. Full marks Belmont!

When my mother-in-law went into Belmont House she was very frail and didn't want to interact with anyone. Thanks to the exceptional care provided within a very short time she was a different person. Attending every activity, eating in the lounge, something she swore she would not do! she was there for

Since my friend of 50 years moved into Belmont House she has been the happiest I have seen since her diagnosis. All the staff are very attentive and kind they are so lovely to her. All her medical needs are dealt with and I am kept up to date. It is such a relief for me to know. I am impressed with
the importance the manager and staff put on safety, particularly Coronavirus. Although it can seem there are a lot of rules when visiting, it is better that they care about keeping residents and staff safe. Their attention to safety is to be applauded. The staff work well together and step in where needed. Even the manager will help out it is so good to see.

The experience from start to finish was great. My mum felt very at home, the care was great and she enjoyed the food. The team at Belmont House couldn't do enough to make her comfortable. My mum was the happiest I have seen her for the past couple of years in the short time she was at Belmont House

Sadly our mum died in May 2021 having been a permanent resident at Belmont House for three and a half years. She specifically chose to move there having spent two temporary spells there following surgery. This extract from her eulogy says it all. "As her mobility declined, our mum decided that it was
time to make a permanent move ... to Belmont House. She didn’t just go into a home – she made Belmont House her home – and the staff there made sure it was her home. She found a whole new group of friends in the manager and his brilliant team". My sister and I are so grateful to everyone at Belmont House for everything they did to support our mum, especially over the past very difficult 18 months. Their care in her final few weeks was outstanding and we will miss them all.

My mother has been a resident at Belmont House for 3 and a half years, during which time she has considered it home and the staff her extended family. She passed away last week and my review relates particularly to that. The last 3 weeks of her life were filled with care, love and compassion by the
whole team. I cannot praise the manager and his staff enough. They really went above and beyond to ensure she had the kind of death we all would love to have. Thank you all so much, we will miss you.

My mother spent four weeks at Belmont House and the whole experience, both prior to admission and during her stay was excellent. Everybody from the home (customer relations and the nursing staff) provided a very friendly, caring and efficient service. The only reason she didn't stay for a longer period
of time is that she is moving to a nursing home much closer to where I live.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Belmont House for anyone looking for a residential nursing home or for a period of respite care.

My mum has been at Belmont House since it opened in 2016 with some teething problems to start. We now have the best manager I believe the home could ever hope for with a great team that work so hard. My mum is so well cared for and she is treated with dignity and genuinely loved by all. Through Covid-19
we have been kept up to date with everything we need to know including regular updates on Mum's health and every week video calls which really help at this very difficult time.

I found the home and the palliative care my husband received for six weeks of a very high standard. The staff, professional, caring and kind, their aim to give comfort, dignity and privacy was at the forefront at all times.
