The home has been designed around the needs of its residents, they can benefit from first class accommodation, with a range of communal areas for socialising and activities. State-of-the-art facilities include a bistro area, private dining room, cinema, hair salon, quiet lounges and activity rooms. All bedrooms are en suite, and residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to help make their rooms their own.

Staff are helpful. The nursing home is like a hotel. Free coffee and pastry in the bistro every day. Definitely recommended. Amazing environment. Party for residents with the relatives sometimes included.
Very clean home with no bad smell. Helpful management.

Have been so impressed with Belmont House, the manager is so professional and he has a great team on the reception and in the offices.


I was very impressed on Friday as they put on a fantastic Las Vegas themed afternoon.

Belmont House looks impressive from outside, convenient parking, interior design superb, open, spacious, well lighted, bedroom views to gardens are superb and calming for the resident. My parent is on respite and towards permanent resident. Reception staff are friendly, inviting and cheerful. The manager's
approachable and contactable, makes time for a chat with residents, relatives and open door communications with staff to address any concerns. Care staff are dedicated, caring, friendly, professional and vocational. Dietary needs adjusted accordingly, menus are diverse and cater for all tastes, hospitality management - superb. Facilities and maintenance are amazing, timely, prompt handling requests, repairs and adjustments, cleanliness, impressive. Activities are fun, engaging, open to ideas, creating a warm environment and encouraging residents to participate and enjoy good company. Senior nurses are dedicated, diligent, efficient, assuring relatives the best care provided on daily basis and concerns addressed promptly. Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed, calm and staff liaise with management to create the environment crucial for the residents, ensuring up to date staff training and improvements. Monthly manager meetings for residents and relatives encourages all to feel they can contribute and create a family environment.

My Mother in Law has been a resident at Belmont House since April 2017. In that time we have seen the staff and management turn the place from poor to good rating, which is somewhat remarkable in my view. My Mother in Law wouldn't come out of her room at the beginning now however I have to go and find
her when I visit. She attends almost every activity. Activities particularly excellent.

My nan has been here since June. It’s a wonderful home with excellent staff, who go above and beyond and always have smiles on their faces. The facilities are amazing and there is always something going on to keep the residents entertained. It really is like a 5-star hotel. I wouldn’t want my Nan to
be cared for anywhere else!

First impressions when you walk in are very friendly and clean. All staff are very pleasant and greet you with a smile. We had a lovely time yesterday at the Christmas lunch. The atmosphere was warm and the staff friendly and caring. The team organising this event had obviously put a great deal of hard work under the leadership of the Manager. I didn't expect my brother to still be there but it is with your expert care

We came to the Christmas party on Sunday the 16th of December. It was a very enjoyable afternoon - good food, great entertainment, staff worked tirelessly. Brilliant effort.

Well designed new nursing home. Spacious and comfortable. Good size room chosen and with a low window skill, idea for window gazing and a feeling of being in a lovely room, not a cubicle/cell.


Excellent management (manager and deputy), friendly and considerate. Splendid team of carers, smiling and

cheerful. Good meals and choices. Good activities well exceeded our expectations and my mother liked it here notwithstanding only a short stay until her passing.

My mother-in-law has really improved in her appearance and demeanour since moving here three weeks ago.
She had been losing weight through not eating properly and had been lonely.
She has now put on some 5lbs and is looking more healthy and happy.
We are very impressed with the care she has received

Came for a birthday party.
All very well organised, very nice food.
Facilities and room look excellent.
Carpet on bedroom floor might be better if Mother falls.
I used the webcam prior to visiting and the facilities clearly match

My first visit to my grandmother on her 99th birthday - very impressed as soon as I walked in the door.
The food was amazing.

As the Home Manager, I have a qualified nursing background from the Philippines. I ensure the effective delivery of highly holistic person-centred care in a safe environment. I lead by example, creating a culture of continuous learning and development and the team is encouraged and valued ensuring all aspects of care can be maintained to the highest standards.


I enjoy all aspects of my job, although there are many challenges on a day-to-day basis, working with a team that provides high standards of person-centred care to residents to ensure they have a fulfilled, engaged and happy environment to live in always makes me happy.


I have been working in the care industry all my working life starting as a Psychiatric Nurse for 5 years and A&E Nurse for almost 3 years. I worked as a General Nurse for 2 years, working my way up to Senior Nurse. I began work in care homes as Head of Care before quickly becoming a Deputy Manager and then being promoted to Home Manager and then Senior Home Manager.


I have been involved in the commissioning of a new home and understand the challenges that can be encountered. I enjoy the day-to-day challenges of running a care home, working with many professionals, internally and externally and building those relationships with and for Belmont House. I continue to learn and develop and no day is ever the same which makes everything so worthwhile.


My experience and passion for the role I perform is to lead by example, ensuring the home follows all policies and procedures to provide a highly skilled team to enhance the residents' lives so they have the most fulfilled life they can have with a leader who is driven to outstanding care.
