The various departments are so willing to assist although often so seriously busy. I don't call unless absolutely necessary, but know I will be treated with respect if I do need help.

The ambience at Belmont House was warm and welcoming. The staff were attentive, caring and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot thank the staff enough at Belmont House for their care and passion for looking after my father-in-law in the last week of his life.

My grandfather stayed here briefly, but despite it being a short time, we know that Belmont House provided him with the best nursing care possible. The manager was excellent in arranging the prompt private transfer for my grandfather to Belmont House. Once he arrived, all his anxiety and stress was relieved by the comforting environment Belmont House provides. The staffing ratio is excellent and allows prompt attentive care to be achieved. We had an outstanding experience with Belmont House and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Thank you for the care you provided my grandfather.

I visit my mother most days and find her in good spirits. She is happy with the care she receives.
Occasionally, she may not have certain things to hand but overall, the standard of care is very good.

My mother has ample opportunity and encouragement to join in the varied activities plus prefer to be quiet. We find Belmont House to be a very friendly and caring home.

This home was recommended to me by a friend who had a sister here. The moment I walked through the door I liked the happy ambience that exists throughout the home. My mother, who is 97, comes in regularly for respite whilst we have a holiday. My mother enjoys her stays and likens it to a 5-star hotel! She feels she is on holiday.

The staff in the care home are so good with my Mum. They are very caring towards her and know exactly what to do when she gets upset. She is very well looked after. She has a lovely room overlooking the garden and the food is excellent. There are plenty of activities throughout the day to keep her occupied. I know that she is safe in their hands.

Dad is looked after very well by all the care home staff. They take time to say hello and check he is ok. He is always up and dressed when we arrive and sitting in the lounge with other residents. There are daily activities organised and Dad is encouraged to join in but if he doesnt want to, that fine too. The facilities at the home are excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend Belmont House to others.

There is always a friendly welcome upon arrival. Staff are caring and interested. My mother prefers to be quiet and read. Carers and activities coordinators check on her, chat to her and respect her wishes. She has been encouraged to join seated-fitness activity which she enjoys.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff work well together and there is a 'can do' attitude. All areas of the home were spotlessly clean and the facilities available were extensive for residents and visitors alike. End of life care was absolutely first class and I had no concerns over the suitability of this care home to provide whatever nursing care that was needed and my relative was regularly monitored and needs were assessed.

Meet the Team (1)

Maria Stancu
Maria StancuJob Title:Home Manager

As a registered nurse with 10 years of experience in the care industry, my responsibilities include overseeing clinical care delivery, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and supporting both our residents and team in achieving the highest quality of care.

What brings me joy is the ability to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, no matter how small. Seeing residents achieve their goals, whether it’s regaining independence or simply finding moments of happiness, is incredibly rewarding. Knowing that our team plays a part in their journey is priceless and fuels my passion for this work every day.

To me, ‘Care from the Heart’ means providing care that goes beyond the technical aspects of the role. It’s about empathy, compassion, and truly understanding the needs of each individual. It’s treating residents as if they were family, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and happiness are always at the forefront of everything we do.

I believe my impact lies in fostering a culture of compassion and teamwork. By leading by example and supporting my colleagues, I aim to elevate the standard of care we provide. In the future, I would like to further develop initiatives that strengthen team collaboration, ensuring our home remains a place where everyone thrives.
