Well done Bourn View.

Always welcoming and full of life and this reflects on the patient's wellbeing. Always good welcoming atmosphere when I visit, which is lovely to be able to leave my mum in when I leave her.

As her needs have changed over time, the staff have responded magnificently. She is loved, well cared for and happy. We are happy because she laughs and relates to all the staff. The wellbeing team work so hard to bring variety and purpose to the days - come rain or shine.

My mother stayed at Bourne View for three weeks. She was very well looked after and enjoyed her stay. There was a lot of stimulating activities which promoted inclusion. A very relaxed happy environment.

My husband has suffered three strokes and several seizures, he requires personal support daily in eating, moving and personal hygiene. The care has to continue throughout the night and procedures were put into place to ensure his safety, comfort and personal care. A procedure exists whereby we went to Bourne View to see what they offered and then the staff visited us in our home, to see for themselves the level of care he needed. After one week, he returned home and felt that there was no reason why he wouldn't return in the future when necessary.

The atmosphere on Chatsworth Wing is filled with human kindness and compassion. Living here has lifted my mother's mood and her feeling of well being. She is clearly very happy at this home and that gives me great peace of mind.

My mom was a bit apprehensive as never used respite care. She enjoyed her experience and would come again. The staff are lovely and immediately put my mom at ease. The facilities are excellent and I would link it to a hotel.

We have used Bourn View for respite care on a couple of occasions whilst the family take a holiday. The staff have really gone above and beyond with the care that they provided.

He kept telling us about what he had done during the week. Jazz band, cinema etc, This really stimulated him.

During my week of respite care, I consider my needs were generally well met and staff were attentive to my wishes. My room was very comfortable and extremely quiet which suited my needs well. The catering was flexible and of a high standard so my special dietary needs were well met. I found it helpful and reassuring that night staff came and introduced themselves. Have memory difficulties, it would have been very helpful if all staff had easily readable name badges.

My mum has been a resident at Bourn View for a year now and I have seen a transformation in her. We as a family are so very happy with the high standard of care mum receives and even with dementia my mum told me "The people here are very nice and respectful" Knowing my mum as well as I do, she would not say that if she didn't mean it! Bourn View has not only provided excellent care for our mum who we all love so much but have given us as a family peace of mind. Thank you so much!

After 6 months at Bourn View it is difficult to believe the change in my mother-in-law; she is now confident, happy, joining in activities and eating and drinking well. The staff in all areas are positive, encouraging and always smiling. We really could not ask for more and cannot recommend the home highly enough. Well done and thank you to the whole team.

Enjoyed my stay. Staff were extremely kind and considerate. My only complaint was that the food was not up to standard. The facilities were excellent. I would return to this home as and when needed.

I moved my mother to Bourn View from another care home nearby. This was on the recommendation of a friend whose mother resides here. The improvement in my mother's appearance and condition was visible within a number of days. The care provided by all staff within this home was excellent. My mother is constantly clean and well cared for. I have plans to provide an in-depth review of Bourn View within the next few weeks.

My parents had a lovely 3 week respite stay at Bourn View. The attentiveness and attention to detail made them feel very special and truly lifted them, really giving them both a new lease of life.

I am so happy with the care my Nan has received here at BournView. The staff are amazing, always there making sure everybody is OK and checking on Nan all the time. I and my family are so grateful to the team for allowing us to stay here and feel so welcomed. I would definitely recommend it here and would like to say a big thank you!

Mum has been at Bourn View for 3 we3eks now and has settled in extremely well. We are delighted with the standard of care which Mum receives. The staff are very caring, helpful, professional and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.
