Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

My mum has been at Gracewell High Wycombe just over a year. Looking back on when we first visited, we had a very good feeling as soon as we walked in the door. The home is modern, light, spacious, and has excellent facilities. We have been so impressed with the care Mum has received, always delivered with compassion and a smile! The staff are very well trained and are always very helpful. The communication from the home generally is excellent but particularly when it comes to Mum's overall care. We really appreciate the opportunity to sit down regularly with the staff to review Mum's care plan. The bedrooms are spacious and light, and every floor has outside viewing/sitting balconies which we love. The activities are run by an enthusiastic team who ensure all residents get as much stimulation as possible. I have even been known to engage in a little karaoke myself much to my Mum's amusement! Overall I am delighted we chose Gracewell High Wycombe as our care home of choice.

As Home Manager, the most important part of my role is to make sure residents feel safe.
A big part of what I do is supporting my team. In particular, helping them navigate the healthcare sector, which is always growing and developing. With that in mind, you also need to be well organised and approachable. It helps that I can draw on my 15 years of experience and level five qualification in leadership.
When I first joined Care UK, I did so because its ethos reflected my own values and beliefs. A career highlight for me is the fact I have been able to work my way up through dedication and learning. Now, I feel proud to be part of a strong team that I have also helped grow. For us, it is about celebrating each other’s achievements and seeing how we can do even better.
Every day is different, but my favourite part is being able to spend time with residents and their families. I love finding out about their lives, getting to know them and listening to their wealth of knowledge.
Outside of work, we are an adventurous family and enjoy road trips and holidays. Having a very sporty son also means we spend a lot of time out and about supporting his activities.
