Pemberleys staff are totally person centered and their care is excellent and consider dignity and respect at all times.
My brother and I are kept informed of any changes with regards to mums health, together we see her 3 times a week, they don't wait for visits but inform by phone or email.
Nothing is ever too much, residents are included with reception / office staff if they want to just sit and chat or just be with them.
The facilities are wonderful and lovely gardens.
They also have a weekly itinerary of events.
I strongly recommend this wonderful home, the peace of mind for us is priceless.

The care my father receives is exceptional, and the support given to me has been equally outstanding. I am always kept informed and know I can speak to someone whenever I need to. Every member of staff goes above and beyond, treating residents with dignity, respect and genuine kindness.
My father is happy, feels safe and has found a second family here. I cannot thank everyone enough for the care, compassion and support they have shown us. I would recommend this care home without hesitation.

Pemberley Manor was recommended too me for my Mum and we were so glad we asked to view, we found the Client Liaison Manager, Lauren and Jade the Home Manager a delight to deal with, nothing seemed too much trouble. When Mum arrived at Pemberley we were a little worried but the staff made the transition very normal and friendly, we are now 1 week in and every member of staff knows my Mums name, she has been made to feel very welcome. From what I have seen from transition from hospital to settling into Pemberley I would 100% recommend this care home to who ever is making the decision for a loved one. As a family we have visited on numerous occasions to ensure she has settled in and we have even met the chef Dave, who has a genuine concern if Mum likes his food. Wonderful Care Home, Wonderful Staff and we know Mum is being looked after and is happy.
We understand that choosing a care home and supporting a loved one through the move can be an emotional experience, so we are delighted to hear that Lauren, Jade and the rest of the team...

My Mother has settled very well at Pemberley. She feels safe, which she no longer did at home and had become isolated. Help is just a button push away I have found all of the staff without exception to be extremely kind attentive and caring to their residents but also to the family as well. They are never too busy to listen and take on board everything that is said. We are kept fully informed of any issues be it health or welfare. Any problems are dealt with very quickly. Everyone greets you with a smile and cheery hello. Mum enjoys the food which is extremely good, and enjoys the variety of activities which are enjoyable and inclusive. She is always clean and tidy as is her room and indeed the whole home. She has made friends. Her whole quality of life has improved greatly. I can't recommend highly enough.

Mum sadly passed away in hospital at age 93 in December 2025 after being at Pemberley Manor for 5 months having so unfortunately endured 2 other previous care homes.
The day mum arrived at Pemberley Manor she immediately trusted the staff, loved their friendliness, awareness and outstanding care .
To see the obvious, absolute relief & delight on her face was a total joy .
I cannot thank the whole team enough; headed by Jade & Jamie - all staff so accomplished in their individual roles, even with family after the loss of a resident.
It has taken a while to write this genuine review which is an honest, wholly appreciative account of how grateful we are for having found such a fabulous home for mum . Reassuring that she so enjoyed her short but very sweet stay (for us as family too) at Pemberley Manor . Highly recommended. .

My mum settled in, became very comfortable, had gained weight, her mobility improved, she was always having a good laugh with the staff, all of this in under a month and then very sadly and unexpectedly she passed away at rest. I truly believe that she had reached a place of rest and that her mind and body were ready and I would like to say that this was all down to Pemberleys care and consideration which went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your heartfelt experience. We are deeply touched by your kind words about your mum's time at Pemberley Manor. It was truly our privilege to care for her and to get to know both her and your family. We're so glad to hear that she felt comfortable,...
My husband has been a resident at Pemberley since 10th June 2025. He is on the advanced dementia floor. Since he has been there after a difficult start he is beginning to settle. He is eating and put on weight. The carers are very good with him and know his needs. Overall I'm very happy with Pemberley and especially the carers.

My mum stayed at Pemberley Manor Care Home for two weeks of respite care and we were really impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, which made her feel very welcome. The rooms are lovely, (more like a hotel than a care home), and she really enjoyed the food. Everywhere is spotless and there's a beautiful garden to sit in. When mum was poorly, the team went above and beyond to make sure she got the medical care she needed. Mum had a great experience and we'd happily recommend Pemberley Manor.

Meet the Team (9)

I started my career as a carer, after spending my childhood watching my parents working in various care homes and seeing the difference this made to people's lives, care is quite literally in my genes! As soon as I left school, I knew this was what I wanted to do and I worked as a carer for 4 years, before changing roles in my previous care home to Activities coordinator, I continued in this role and then joined the incredible team at Baycroft as a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, where I was mostly responsible for organising and hosting our weekly activities programme.
I have recently started an exciting new position within Baycroft as a customer relations manager and have been enjoying exploring my new role and furthering my skills.

Raised in Caserta, Italy, Michele del Monaco grew up surrounded by the finest ingredients and traditions of Southern Italy. He’s had an amazing career, including working in Sardinia, taking the position of Executive Chef in one of Rio de Janeiro’s finest Italian restaurants and joining the world-renowned kitchens at the two Michelin-starred Hotel Il Pellicano in Tuscany.
Over his global career, Michele has evolved his cooking to incorporate the modern fine dining style whilst maintaining the authentic Italian concept inspired by his homeland, which is what he is now bringing to Baycroft in Orpington.
Our personal favourites are his calamari, beef wellington and apple crumble!!

Hi, My name is Lauren and I am the new Home Administrator for Baycroft, Grays Farm Road. I have been in the care industry since 2013 when I started as a carer in an extra scheme and from there, I progressed into more senior roles over the 6 years I worked there. I then worked for a private domiciliary service in Bromley until the end of 2020. I have always enjoyed working in care and gaining various experiences from the roles have been in over the years, It's very rewarding knowing that you are making a difference in a person's life. After a break from work to raise children, I am now here at Baycroft and I am looking forward to working with the team and meeting the residents and family members.

I love my job as a receptionist at Baycroft Orpington because I get to see so many visitors with who I really enjoy chatting.
I have lots of conversations with the lovely residents, jokes and laughs they are such lovely people it is nice to meet their family members too.
Not forgetting the very nice staff and my team whom I enjoy working with.

Hi, I recently joined Baycroft as a Receptionist. My background is in Beauty and Aesthetics, most recently as an Aesthetic Consultant at Harley Street. As a therapist and consultant, I have always enjoyed working with the older generation and building a relationship with them to the point a lot of them became friends. I have a caring nature and decided to get into the care industry using my customer service and reception skills. I know I will get a lot of job satisfaction from knowing I am part of helping someone’s care and attending to their friends and relatives, giving them 5-star service.

I am the maintenance man for Baycroft, I have been made very welcome and supported by the staff in the home.
I’ve been in care for over 17 years in different roles predominantly in Dementia homes, eventually moving into training. Qualified in all aspects of training within the healthcare sector. I moved out of care homes and into a highly successful training company teaching across all sectors of care including the NHS. I am a qualified Dementia trainer for the world-renowned Virtual Dementia Tour and a Newly designed Dementia Interpreter I can utilise my skills gained to help make the residents' lives as fulfilling as possible.

I joined Baycroft in 2019 as a healthcare assistant but I started caring in 2017 for my great nan when she became unwell. I have now started a new role as Activities Coordinator at Baycroft Grays Farm Road, I am enjoying creating a diverse, stimulating activities programme for residents to enjoy.
I enjoy taking part in the daily activities with residents and it is so rewarding to see them benefiting from having social interaction with others and a sense of empowerment from taking part.
