Thank you for taking the time to submit this review. I am somewhat surprised at the comments as I know that the effort and time spent by our team with your father during his stay is not reflective of what has been noted here. If you have the opportunity, do read the many other independent reviews of our Home, as they paint a very different picture of both long and short term stays with us. We often find that families hear distorted views from their loved ones where it is their wish to remain at home, perhaps understandably, as moving to a care home is mostly from necessity, not a personal choice. We wish your father the very best and hope that when life at the home returns to normal, post-pandemic, he might consider staying with us again so he may experience what so many other people have at Bourne Wood Manor. Warm regards, Paul.

Hello, my name is Annie Russell, and I am the Client Service Manager here at Bourne Wood Manor.
I studied at Godalming College, where I completed A-levels in Sociology and Hospitality. Through my studies, I developed strong customer service skills and consistently achieved high targets. My educational background has given me a solid foundation in understanding people and meeting their needs effectively.
I started working in the care sector due to my personal experience of helping my family find care for my grandparents. This experience has been deeply impactful and has equipped me with the qualities needed to be a trustworthy and compassionate person to speak to. It has also fuelled my passion for providing the best possible care and support to residents and their families.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my friends and family. We love going on new adventures, whether it is exploring new places, trying out new activities or simply enjoying each other's company. These experiences have enriched my life and have helped me to become a more empathetic and understanding person.
