We are so grateful for the compassionate care our mother receives at The Royal Star and Garter. The staff are kind, attentive, and truly treat residents with dignity and respect. The facility is clean, welcoming, and full of engaging activities. Communication with families is excellent, which gives us great peace of mind. We couldn't have chosen a better place and highly recommend this nursing home.
Thank you again for your trust and recommendation. We feel privileged to be part of your mothers care journey.
The changes in my mother were almost immediate. Eating regular, healthy meals, and her medication is administered regularly. She is always well dressed, hair and make up done, which is important for her. She socialises with other residents. There are various activities and outings. It is like a 5-star hotel! She is really happy there. It is her home,

It is a huge relief to me to know with confidence that my husband is being cared for with kindness and dignity. Members of staff are professional. They assess situations well and respond promptly and efficiently to any requests or observations. They are friendly and welcoming when I visit. The management is outstanding. They organise an interesting and varied programme of activities for residents.
Our team works hard to assess needs promptly and respond with compassion, so it's wonderful to hear that this has been reflected in your experience. We're also very pleased that you feel welcomed and supported during your visits.
Your kind words about our management and the activities programme are very much appreciated.
I am so pleased that I made the decision to admit my husband for end of life care. The carers have now become my friends.

My mother has been at the Royal Star & Garter High Wycombe since January 2022 and I visit regularly from Autstralia. My recent visit was the result of a fall my mother had. I have always found the staff treat mum with outstanding care and compassion. Most importantly Mum is treated with the utmost of dignity. Living so far away hand on heart I know I leave my mum in the best of hands every time I leave which is never easy. I am always made to feel so welcome too.

I cannot recommend the RS&G highly enough. The care my father has received is exceptional. He is treated with respect and kindness. The staff are friendly and welcoming to visiting family and communicate effectively keeping me up to date with my fathers changing needs. It is a comfort to know that he is comfortable and well cared for. I could not wish for more.

Being an adult child living in another country it is a huge relief to know my father is being so well cared for. The staff are amazing - so welcoming, kind and thoughtful. The facility is exceptionally well maintained - clean and bright - as is dad's room. Lots of activities which dad thoroughly enjoys. Without a doubt, this is the best season of his life and we are so, so grateful to all the staff at Royal Star and Garter.

This is my second review since my father became a resident at Royal Star and Garter almost a year ago. Having been hesitant about going he settled in very well and thoroughly enjoys all the varied activities, social events and outings. Recently, my father had a stroke and the care and support given to him and myself has been outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and staff go the extra mile in all aspects of care, including specific needs assessments. Each time I visit my father, I am greeted with such kindness and the family environment is so apparent. I am so grateful that Dad is with you.
Thank you for sharing your lovely feedback again. The well-being of your father and your family is important to us, and we are committed to going above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels valued and supported.Your kind words inspire us to continue our efforts in providing exceptional care and...
My husband has severe dementia and has been a resident for 4 years. I cannot fault this care home. The care and attention my husband receives is second to none. He is treated with respect and love by the staff. I am kept well informed of various situations that occur affecting my husband. I would also like to add that the staff are considerate and understanding with regard to my emotions connected with my husbands condition. Before I made a decision to choose The Royal Star & Garter I had in fact visited other care homes which frankly filled me with dread. I have never regretted my decision choosing RS & G.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about the home and the wonderful experience your husband has had. Your kind words mean a lot to our team, and we are so grateful that you chose Royal Star & Garter Home. Please know that we are always here for you and your family, ready to provide the best possible care and support.
Our 92 year old father who suffers from vascular dementia has been resident at the Royal Star & Garter for nearly 5 years now and I can honestly say that I cannot imagine a better care home. My dad's dementia means that he has no short-term memory at all and therefore is constantly lost and confused as to where he is and cannot make new friendships or relationships. Despite this, the staff show endless patience and kindness towards my dad treating him with utmost respect and care which has the result of making him feel relaxed and at ease. The staff have made the effort to learn my dad's 'ways' and adapt to them so that his experience of life is as pleasant and sociable as it possibly could be. From the management of the home, through the level of care given by the staff, the high standard of the rooms and interior, to the delicious food served. I cannot praise the Royal Star & Garter highly enough. Their communication with us the family is also excellent and extremely considerate

From the start the staff have been wonderfully caring and helpful. My family is kept constantly updated on all aspects of his care including physical and emotional aspects. We are always made to feel welcome when visiting and it is great too see my Dad so well cared for. We could not be happier with how cared for and happy my Dad is High Wycombe branch of Royal Star and Garter.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback and kind words. We greatly appreciate your support and are committed to maintaining our high standard of care.
The attention to care for both these events is excellent and could not be better. The staff are enthusiastic, caring and helpful. At both these events the food is nutritious, options are also given, and portion size is perfect.
I think every detail is taken into consideration.
Have only good things to say about Royal Star and Garter.
