Once again, very impressed with the home. Mum has been able to settle in very quickly due to the excellent care and support of everyone working at the home. The facilities are wonderful and Mum has everything she needs that she had at home, plus lots of daily activities. She is particularly fond of
the homemade cakes and desserts. We have such peace of mind knowing Mum is at Mountview.

Mum has now been at Mountview for 14 months. I can honestly say that every single time I visit, generally twice each week, it is a positive experience. Mum is always very well cared for and relaxed, which is lovely to see. Mum enjoys her own company but joins in the activities that she enjoys, and the
staff are always happy to help her get to them. She has made friends with several residents and staff. As a family, we were extremely concerned that Mum would not adapt, but we all agree that it is the best thing that we have done for her and Mum is very happy.

I have been a visitor for over two years now, calling almost every day. On every occasion, Mountview is clean, calm, professional and caring staff at every turn. I am always made welcome. The resident I visit is always well cared for. I come into contact with not just the carers, but the management
team, cleaners, hairdresser and kitchen staff, I know them all very well - they are like a big extended family. I would recommend Mountview to anyone who wants an exceptionally high standard of care for their loved one.

Absolutely home from home for my mother, who with her dementia can be very awkward and difficult at times. The home take care, make sure she is well looked after, clean, tidy and well-dressed at all times.

Mountview Care Home took my husband for respite care at short notice. They were efficient and he settled in. His conditions were not easy for staff to deal with but they all managed. It became clear that my husband needed nursing care and so, after six weeks, he left to enter a nursing home.

Fabulous care home and incredible staff. My mum has vascular dementia and after a recent hospital admission, we realised she could no longer live independently. Unfortunately, she didn’t think she was ready for a care home. The staff could not have been more helpful, talking us through the process and
giving us an extensive tour of Mountview. They visited my mum and talked her through the process and were really understanding with her. She moved in, initially, on a respite basis but this was soon permanent. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. There is an extensive program of activities every day and even trips out. The food is great and all homemade. It’s been a difficult process made much easier by the wonderful staff.

As always the staff at Mountview Care Home continue to go above and beyond in their efforts to support Mum.
What is also clear is how well the staff are trained and supported and how much they enjoy working at Mountview. It's really a family atmosphere.
Mum says she is lucky to be there and couldn't
ask for more. It's wonderful for us to know she is in such caring hands.
The premises are beautifully kept and it's a pleasure to visit, always something going on for the residents and community and a happy environment.

Mum having stayed for 2 weeks respite decided to stay. Staff support and communication was excellent throughout her time in residence. Sadly medical issues prevented her participation in all activities on offer but she never felt left out. Her passing was a dignified process for the family and staff
who proved extremely helpful during a difficult time.

Mum loves it here! Since coming to Mountview, her quality of life has improved beyond recognition. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and I always get a rundown on how she's been when I visit.
The entertainment is varied and caters for all, and Mum picks and chooses what she gets involved in.
Having seen other care homes through voluntary work, I do in my spare time, Mountview stands head and shoulders above the rest, and I would have no reservations in recommending it to anyone wishing for a quality home!

Mountview Care Home is an amazing oasis of care, support, help and love. From the moment you arrive, you feel at home with family. Sadly, after five years of care, my mother passed away peacefully at 88. The staff were all in tears and many attended the funeral. I had lost my mother and they reacted
as if losing a family member. This is an example of their treatment, love and care. I still visit with my dog to the events offered as the staff and residents are family for me.

Mum has been at Mountview for just over 18 months and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere for a loved one.
The team is outstanding and they really go the extra mile to make the residents feel special.
It was a big birthday for Mum this year and they created a special
space for us to celebrate with her, and provided a lovely buffet and amazing cake!

My mother-in-law is being cared for at Mount View and has been a resident for 6 months or so. Since she arrived, I have been so impressed with the care she has received from the staff. The staff are so friendly and kind and they always make time to talk to us when we visit and answer any questions we
may have. The areas are always immaculate and there are so many activities. I see my mother-in-law on social media very regularly (we love looking at the daily activities and seeing her smiling on there) and think the postings are a great idea, so we can see what she is up to. It is reassuring to see her involved in daily life. The activities coordinator is fantastic at getting her involved. My mother-in-law always looks very well dressed and her hair and nails look nice. We are so glad we picked Mount View as her home and feel that she is happy and content as much as she can be in this new environment for her. Well done Mount View!

Looking for somewhere to convalesce after having a major operation I didn't hesitate in making Mountview the place where I wanted to be looked after.
The staff are exceptional in the way they care about their residents - going the extra mile to help and support me on my road to recovery. Without their
kindness, understanding and loving care I wouldn't have achieved this. I cannot thank the staff enough for being there for my dad, who is also a resident at Mountview. They supported him when he needed it the most.
A big thank you also for allowing my feathered friends to be reunited with me during my stay. They also think Mountview is a wonderful place to stay in too.

My nana was a resident from August 2022 until February 2023, none of the family would have ever considered a care home a place where my nana would ever reside. There's no place like home, until home becomes a place which no longer feels safe, or a place where without the help of carers is no longer
a place which makes the day-to-day things, which were once so natural and easy, become so much effort. My nana became lonely and prone to falls and admitted she was lonely. It was only then, after exhausting all possible options to keep her at home, the family looked at several care homes. The whole time Nana was a resident at Mountview it felt like the next best thing to being at home. The staff were all helpful and kind, the activities were great and she was treated with respect and dignity for which we are forever grateful. I would highly recommend the home and the amazing caring team who work together to provide an environment for people who can no longer live alone. Thank you.

Very welcoming and the staff are all really friendly. My friend who is a resident here is very well looked after. I visit her often and would not hesitate in booking a place here for myself when the time comes.
