Really happy that we found Mountview, always feel welcome. The facilities are excellent, food too. Always something going on. It is great to see mum enjoying the company and her health improving. Great teamwork.
Thank you for your kind words – we are glad you found us too! We are proud of our wonderful team and will pass on your well-deserved praise.
A superb care home in every regard. The home is very well run and all the staff are amazing. I was worried about Mum going into a home when she first had her stroke but I have no worries at all. The home is very clean, the facilities are superb and Mum is extremely well cared for in every way. Although Mum spends a lot of time in her room, the staff are always popping in to make sure she is ok. She loves the home and staff and is treated with the utmost respect, dignity and friendliness at all times. A huge thank you to everyone.
We can't thank you enough for leaving such kind words for our incredible team at Mountview. We understand how difficult the decision to move your loved ones into care can be, so it's great to hear that the team have been able to give you peace of mind in giving the best possible care to your mum....
Beautiful, home, very clean. Not enough staff, never anyone to say what Mum had been doing? Did she shower? Eating? Phone not answered. As mum has vascular dementia she couldn't explain properly how she had been helped. She lost one of her private hearing aids. Didn't seem to have any washing done.
Thank you for your review. Please be assured that we take all feedback seriously. We believe, the Home Manager at Mountview has been in touch regarding your mum’s stay, but if you wish to discuss this any further, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch with the team at Mountview. My father was so reluctant to look at care homes as had always lived independently. After staying at Mountview, initially for two weeks respite, his attitude changed dramatically. He is now a permanent resident and enjoying life at 95 years young, and it is wonderful to see him enjoying life again.
Thank you so much for this lovely feedback for the team at Mountview. We understand how difficult it can be for our residents to make those first steps into residential care - one of our team's top priorities is to get to know our residents and make sure they feel at home right away. We're so glad your father is enjoying life at Mountview. Thanks again!
The management team are approachable and very kind.
The activities are extremely good and we are always invited to join in.

All the care staff are always so kind and happy and caring. As a visitor, you are always made to feel very welcome. My mother-in-law is very happy at Mountview and the family feel confident that she is being well cared for. We have recommended the care home to friends who have relatives in need of similar care.

The care team is dedicated to giving the best possible care to our residents, so they’ll be thrilled to hear that your grandad is enjoying his time living with us. Thanks again!
Mum has lived at Mountview Care Home for almost 4 years. Throughout that time she has enjoyed the comfortable and caring environment which has kept her mind and body healthy. In particular there is always stimulation with daily activities that help keep her mind as active as her age allows. All the staff seem to genuinely care about mum and never hesitate to guide and assist. The management are always helpful in my communication and dealings and remained positive throughout Covid challenges.
Thank you for your review. It’s so important to our care team at Mountview that our residents feel encouraged to take advantage of our activities and entertainment facilities, so that they can live each day to its fullest. We hope you and your mum continue to feel confident and supported in the care our team provides. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback on to the home.
Recently the home has engaged a gardening firm to look after the grounds. The guys do a super job which is appreciated by residents and visitors.

I cannot believe the change in my mum since she’s been at Mountview Care Home - only since February. She looks very happy and it’s good to see her laughing again. The staff are amazing, cannot fault how they are taking care of her and so pleased that the carers have managed to get my mum to leave her room for lunch and activities as she can be reluctant to join in with anything. Well done to all staff and for all your hard work.

I have always received a warm welcome on my arrival. Mum always looks happy and well cared for. She loves the food and is saying that her skirts won't fit her soon! She always walks with the frame to the dining room to participate in one of the planned activities. She always enjoys eating meals with the other residents in the dining room. Thoroughly recommend Mountview Care Home.

Professional management and leadership with clear objectives set within a daily routine so residents know in advance fixed times for activities to either engage or not, whichever they wish. My mother is adapting well to her first experience of being in a care home with much empathy from the staff during this transitional period
Thank you for reviewing our home. It is lovely to hear your mother is settling in well to life at Mountview and the staff are supporting her during this transition period. We will be sure to pass on your comments to the care team.

My husband was in Mountview for 5 months. He received good care under difficult circumstances and the staff were very supportive of me during a very emotional time. The end of life care given to my husband was excellent. I cannot say enough praises of all the staff who showed such kindness, gentleness and compassion and treated him with respect and dignity. He passed peacefully due to their unfailing love and care for which I am eternally grateful. Even after his passing the care continued in the same quiet and unhurried caring way until he left their care. Thank you from the bottom of my heat.
