Our mother has been a resident at Mountview Care Home since April 2019, and we have been delighted with the care she has received and the facilities available. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and show great respect for both residents and their families. The building and rooms are lovely, and
everything is kept to a very high standard. Meals looked great with plenty of variety, plus regular drinks and snacks available throughout the day. There's also regular and varied treat and activities and 'special' days. Every effort is made to keep good contact with families through phone, Skype and Facebook posts and, of course, in-person visits (in normal times). Our mum has been really happy at Mountview, and we are confident that she is in the best place possible.

This must be one of the best in the area. The staff have been caring and helpful at all times. The room has an interesting outlook, with something usually going on. The food is generally satisfactory with occasional exceptions. The covid virus has upset the visiting since I came here six weeks ago,
under normal circumstances it would be good to see visitors more often, of course.

The experience was very good after a complete hip operation. I was very well looked after. The room was very pleasant - everything was provided. The home was nicely decorated and kept me very clean. I enjoyed my stay.

My mother is being cared for at Mountview with great kindness.
The care staff are considerate and friendly and Mum is well looked after.
Mountview is clean, very attractive and has a smart but relaxed feel.
I am very happy with Mountview and thank all of the staff there for a fantastic job done

My mum and dad were living fairly independently until February this year when my dad at age 97 passed away. Mum, aged 89, had received a diagnosis of vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s and Dad had somehow coped looking after Mum as they were a devoted couple who had been married for almost 70 years.
Mum has found losing dad tremendously difficult and as her health deteriorated it became necessary to seek a suitable care home where she could receive the 24/7 care she needed. Mountview Care Home has provided just that and more. The staff are so very caring and attentive and available for us to talk to if we have any concerns. When Mum recently had a nasty fall the staff were amazing helping her recover and one particular day, when Mum was struggling with pain, the activities coordinator sat holding Mum's hand and stroking her forehead whilst I watched on FaceTime and my mum was given that quiet supportive help I was unable to do due to covid restrictions. I wholeheartedly recommend Mountview.

Unfortunately, my uncle was not in Mountview for long due to his (unknown at the time) terminal illness. Mountview cared for his every need right until the end when he was forced into hospital for his last few days. Everything we wanted for my uncle was provided, they made sure every need was met, allowed
his own furniture (easy chair) to be delivered and used. The staff were always available for me to provide updates and often phoned me to provide updates. A very caring and professional team at Mountview; thank you all!

We as a family will be forever grateful for the support given with love and care to our late mother. We had peace of mind that mum was being cared for at all times. If we have any issues they were dealt with swiftly. In these difficult times, we have nothing but praise for the way the home was run by

My mother is definitely much better since staying at Mountview with her dementia. She has good days and bad, but mostly good now. The only issue I have is about her assessments and the fact that none have been done after repeatedly asking.

We found the staff were consistently impressive with the way they dealt with Mum. We found them friendly and helpful at all times. In addition, the facilities within the home are first class and support Mum in her assisted living. the care provided gives the family reassurance that our mum is safe and
well looked after. Finally, the activities itinerary also helps to add to the quality of Mum's life.

The staff were extremely helpful during a difficult time. My uncle died and the staff were excellent. They kept him pain free and comfortable up to the end.

The caring staff carry out their work with compassion and dignity. The home feels like a luxury hotel and not a bit like the stereotypical care home image of the past. I would recommend to other family and friends.

Absolutely amazing care home. All staff are so friendly, caring and welcoming, not only to the residents but also to visiting friends and relatives. The home is spotlessly clean and meals always look appetising. The range of activities provided is excellent. My mum has been here for a month and already

My sister-in-law came to Mountview Care Home for 2 weeks and stayed. She became quite ill and was treated so well by all the staff. She could not have had better treatment anywhere. Her room was warm, cosy and comfortable. We visited as often as we liked, and at times convenient to all family and friends.
They all helped us through a sad time.

The home is bright, open and welcoming. Ideal staff are excellent and management visible and available at all times. The rooms are large, bright and homely. The visitor parking is restricted and improvements are required. The meal options are satisfactory but could be improved at minimum cost and this
would be appreciated by most of the residents. Care staff - resident ration is acceptable but can be under pressure at times during the day.
