Fortunately a room became available and with the help of the Admissions Manager the whole process was easy.
Dad moved in and his room was made homely, pictures, clocks on the wall, a shelf was built for his gramophone nothing was too much trouble, everyone was so caring and helpful.
Entertainment was an absolute joy, every member of staff always had a smile on their face, they all obviously enjoy working and caring for the residents it felt like a family,
Dad passed on the 1st March and right up until the end he was kept immaculately clean, hair washed, shaved, manicured etc, the bedding was always spotless.
I'm so happy and proud that he spent his last year in comfort and faultless attention, it is truly a special home.
Thank you so much for your deeply touching review. We are truly honoured to have been entrusted with your Dad's care at The Burlington and that our team could provide him with the care, comfort, and attention he deserved. The care is second to none and the facilities are excellent. We looked at several homes but Dad knew The Burlington was the one straight away and we've never regretted his choice.
Thank you for sharing these kind words. It means a lot that you've never regretted choosing The Burlington. We truly appreciate your trust and remain dedicated to providing him with the best care and facilities.
The Burlington, a true gem. After having worked in many care homes in Australia, I can truly say The Burlington is one of a kind. Words cannot describe the kindness of the staff, from the warm welcome at the reception to the carers you meet working on the floor. They all work as a team, greet you with a warm, welcoming smile and genuinely care about the residents. My family and I were nervous about moving Nana into a care home but I think we would all agree it has been the best decision for my nana and she has quickly become part of the family there. A highlight is the range of activities and the many opportunities for socialising. From flower arranging to craft activities to sing-a-longs, there is something for everyone and I know Nana loves these and it allows her to meet the other residents. The Burlington will always have a special place in our hearts and there is nothing but praise to give to such a wonderful care home. I really hope this is the future of care homes and I truly believe there is hope for our elderly population with this standard of care.
Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt review. We're delighted to hear that The Burlington has made such a positive impact on your family. It's wonderful that our team's warmth and care have made you feel at ease, and that the range of activities has helped create a sense of community. We're...
We have been coming here to visit friends for more than 2 years. We have always for more than 2 years. We have always found them well cared for. The staff are always friendly and courteous towards clients and visitors. We have been invited to various events and celebrations and enjoyed them. When one of our friends passed on, the staff were very supportive of the partner left and for which we are very grateful.

Mum has settled well, much to our surprise but delight. The home is lovely - more like a hotel than a care home. The staff are delightful and Mum keeps commenting on how kind everyone is. We really couldn't ask for better.
We're delighted to hear that your mum has settled in so well at our home. Our team takes great pride in providing kind and compassionate care and it warms our hearts to hear that your mum has noticed their kindness. Thank you for entrusting us with her care. We're here to support her every step of the way.
A wonderful family birthday lunch. Every aspect of The Burlington care is superb, but I felt moved to write this review following a most enjoyable family birthday gathering in the home's private dining room. We all were welcomed, fed and served with warmth, expertise and kindness and had a most memorable get-together. An example of the way in which The Burlington respects and cherishes their residents.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience at The Burlington. We're thrilled to hear that your family enjoyed a wonderful birthday lunch, and we appreciate your kind words about the warmth, expertise, and kindness of our team. Creating memorable moments for our residents and their families is at the heart of what we do. We're honoured to be a part of such special occasions.
Mum was extremely happy at The Burlington for over 4 years. The staff, across all areas, are friendly, efficient and caring, always responded quickly and kept us up to date with any health issues or concerns. We, as her family, always felt very welcome and included especially at special events such as the summer BBQ, resident/family meetings or when using the private dining room for celebrations (or visits during Covid!). The seminars offered about dementia or finance for example were very welcome. The quality of accommodation, staffing levels, food, range and number of entertainment opportunities is exceptional. I cannot recommend The Burlington more highly.
We're deeply touched to hear that your mum enjoyed four happy years at The Burlington. Your feedback about our caring team and welcoming atmosphere means a lot to us. Thank you for your high recommendation; it's truly appreciated.
Mum lived at The Burlington for four happy years. During that time the staff were brilliant - friendly and professional - and when visiting we felt very welcomed. Although some staff moved on during that time, there was a core of the team that were long-term employees which gave stability to the care. A good programme of activities all year round which included residents ' families as appropriate. COVID put paid to a lot of the fun for a while but good arrangements were in place to visit when we could. Thanks to everyone for their care and supportive attitude.
Your mum's four years at The Burlington were truly special, and we're grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of her life during that time. Our dedicated team and their unwavering commitment to providing the best care possible are what make our community thrive. Thank you for being a part of our Burlington family.
What a fabulous experience. We were treated so well, the food, the service, were all first-class.
We were made to feel so special and my mother had a wonderful time.
Thank you to all your staff who made today so special.
Thank you so much for your review, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your mother's birthday and that you all had a special day. It is always an honour to help families celebrate these special occasions.
The unwavering care and attention to detail for all our mother's needs gave us peace of mind and confidence that she was happy and comfortable during her respite stay. Our thanks to all the staff and carers who looked after her so well.
We're truly appreciative of your kind words and for entrusting us with your mother's care during her stay at The Burlington. Understanding and catering to each resident's individual needs is our top priority, and we're delighted to hear that your experience reflected this commitment. Thank you for your heartfelt appreciation.
The home itself is welcoming, clean and homely, it is a lovely place to visit your loved ones.
The staff became part of your family and we became part of the Burlington family. All the staff are professional, caring, kind and just beautiful people who treated my gran with love and respect.
I couldn't have asked for a better place for my gran to live out her final years.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind words. We're truly grateful for your trust and for allowing us to care for your grandmother. We're glad to hear that The Burlington became a loving and welcoming home for her and that our team became an extended family. Your appreciation means the world to us, and we're honoured to have been a part of her final years.
My mother-in-law had been living at The Burlington for almost two years when she recently passed away (age 96). From the first second we came into The Burlington it has been nothing short of fantastic. All the staff appear to work really well together as a team and every aspect of her care and treatment from them has been great. My mother-in-law's last days were made so very much better (for both her and us as her family) than we could have asked for and we really felt part of a real family atmosphere. She loved her time with you all. Thank you.
We're deeply touched by your heartfelt words. It's truly rewarding to know that The Burlington provided exceptional care for your mother-in-law throughout her time with us. We're honoured to have been a part of her life, and we're grateful for the opportunity to have created a family atmosphere...
My father loves his trips out. The boat trip on the Thames and the trip to the pub were particular favourites. I think that it's wonderful that you give the residents these opportunities. It's so very important to be able to get out into the outside world. They are so very well looked after. Thank you very much.
We're thrilled to hear that your father has been enjoying his outings. Providing these opportunities for residents to explore the outside world and be part of the community is indeed important for their well-being. We take great pride in ensuring their care and happiness. Thank you for your kind words and for trusting us to look after your father. Your appreciation means a lot to our team.
