I visit my friend 3 times a week and have done since 11.07.19. This home is like a 5-star hotel and the staff are very caring and polite to her and me. I have had to ask the management for help on a couple of things and these have been done. Also, the coffee and cakes are better than a coffee shop. Many thanks to the management and staff for all their care and kindness.

The Burlington is an outstanding home. Staff, food and general care for my mum is faultless. Since being at The Burlington, my mum's general health and mobility has improved greatly. Just a wonderful place for loved ones to stay.

I left my husband for two weeks whilst I had a rest from the 24/7 caring.
He chose a room which was an excellent choice. He said he enjoyed the food and it was obvious he was very well cared for. My daughter arrived to see him unannounced and found him taking part in some exercises in one of the lounges.
Everyone was very kind to him and greeted him whenever they passed.
I would highly recommend this care home. Caring is the heart of what they do and the surroundings are equivalent to a five-star hotel. I would recommend this care home to my friends.

My husband was there from 8th July until Sunday 21st July 2019.

I visited my cousin today and was very impressed by both the beautiful furnishings and garden as well as my cousin's room. He has a lovely, light and airy room with a sunny patio. The staff are friendly and caring. We spent a very happy, relaxing afternoon in the piano bar, having tea and cake.

When I very first walked into The Burlington, it felt homely straight away. All staff are friendly and always polite and cannot do enough to help. My nan seems very happy here and built great relationships with both other residents and staff. The carers challenge nanny to reach her full potential but at the same time, allow her all the time she needs.

The Burlington is always clean and tidy. I feel very happy to visit here.

My mother required 2 weeks respite in June 2019. We visited many local are homes in the area and finally selected The Burlington, as it was outstanding. We were not disappointed in any way with our choice. My mother who is 95 years old, returned home from her stay very happy, having made new friends with residents and staff alike. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Mum is returning to The Burlington in September for 2 more weeks respite. She tells me she is looking forward to returning and meeting up with her new found friends.

Attended the coffee morning today with mum's friend. The welcome we got when we arrived was amazing, all staff were lovely, we had a guided tour of the building. Just amazed how lovely it was. Being carer myself, I know how important this is for residents as well as families. Can’t fault the staff at all, very impressed, keep up good work.

Overall Experience

Spent the day at the care home for the first time today for my husband's grandmother's birthday and was blown away by the overall experience. It didn't feel like a care home at all. His Grandma seemed so well looked after and as visitors, you are made to feel very welcome. The cleanliness was faultless and the staff seemed to enjoy being there. They were pleased to talk to all of the visiting family members whilst being very attentive to my husband's grandmother's needs.

Much more friendly and caring than previous care home experiences. Shame that bathrooms do not have towel rails (heated) or shaver sockets. I had two meals with my mother. Food bland and overcooked, lack of choice.
