I arrived at the care home in September 2021, having just lost my husband, and found the atmosphere very friendly. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped. The bathrooms were delightful and it was great to see each one had an individual shower. The food is, on the whole, very appetising and the meals
are always something to look forward to. I feel a little bit more time should be given to the question of activities to create further amalgamation of residents.

I loved my stay at The Burlington Care Home. Everyone was so helpful with everything you required, health care and medical attention, even down to a cup of tea or coffee. I can't thank them enough. I'm home now and find my stay has made me stronger and more confident. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

My mum was really well looked after by the staff and fellow residents at The Burlington and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Newly built, it's very well laid out with a real feeling of space. It's homely with lovely touches such as homemade cake and biscuits, flowers and comfortable communal spaces.
My
mum never complained about anything - the food was great, the extra curricular activity really good and there was a strong sense of care and compassion.
The staff team also seemed to be very stable and were always a delight to deal with.

When we were viewing care homes, The Burlington stood out for its bright and welcoming ambience and smiling staff. Our mum has lived there now for a year, and our lived experience remains very positive. Mum was reluctant to leave her home and has dementia. The staff were so caring and helped both us
and Mum through the settling-in period. Six months on, we cannot believe how well and happy she is. Generally, high standard of care, activities and food, doing their best through Covid. The staff are what differentiates this care home from the others we saw.

Visiting my aunt was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. She was happy and adjusted and I could tell she felt in control of her care. The greeting on arrival from the staff was welcoming and there was evidence of a truly caring attitude towards my aunt. Staff were aware of who she was as a person, not
just an elderly lady. She was well cared for and happy. Her family and herself are fully involved in her needs and care.

Our dad recently celebrated his 100th birthday at The Burlington. Staff were excited to be involved and arranged an afternoon of activities for everyone, which highlighted a great deal of thought and effort. The day exceeded our expectations and reinforced our gratitude for every member of staff at

Mum came to The Burlington after an operation for respite care. At first, she was very anxious, but the staff went out of their way to help her settle and make her feel at home. The home is very clean and attractive, the staff are all friendly, and the food is amazing! Mum has been very happy here.
Our only concern was there wasn't always someone to help her wash and dress due to staff shortages at the time. Thank you all for your kindness and patience - we will definitely recommend!

Mum has been at The Burlington for over two years now and is still very happy indeed and constantly tells me she feels safe and well looked after. I am also very pleased with the way staff treat Mum - she enjoys their company and their care. She also enjoys the friendly 'banter'. It is a weight off
my mind knowing she is happy and I am kept informed by staff about how she is. I have always found the 'back room staff' and admin staff very helpful too.

    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months.
